5 out of 5 eggsAmazing!

Pros: Awesome Sound! Very comfortable, and the braided cord ensures that it wont break near the cup which is normally the first place that happens. NO Inline Controls COOL that stupid Box always breaks.

Also NewEgg had this item on my front door in TWO days (free shipping) AMAZING EGG should be their Name...

Cons: Cord could be a little longer but isn't an issue other than that you couldm
n't ask for a better headset

Other Thoughts: My first pair of creative gaming headset I gave to a friend after two years of non stop use (stikk in great shape) since that time I've gone threw 3 sets Turtle beach (1) Thermaltake (1) and a stupid Razor all within 6 months. I work at home wearing my headset for as long as 18 hours a day. I can tell within the first day if they will last especially if comfortable enough to continue using. this headset just earned a permanent spot on my desk. Won't be giving these away. :)

5 out of 5 eggsGood headset

Pros: -Comfortable
-LED lights
-detachable mic and power cord
-Netted cable
-Sound is nice and clear
-NICE BASS

Cons: NOT REALLY SURROUND SOUND. i should have read better before i bought this, they say it is better that Dolby 7.1 but its just a knockoff of surround called "virtual surround" which emulates surround sound. it has some surround but its nothing near 7.1 so if you want to hear stuff in a game from the back of you, you'll have a hard time hearing it compared to 7.1. BUT this doesnt bother me much considering you dont need that much immersion in a game.

Other Thoughts: I think the bass makes up for the lack of REAL surround sound, this headset has very good bass, i'd say its close to Beats by Dre (not as good but dang it sounds good).

5 out of 5 eggsExcellent headset

Pros: I love this headset, it does everything that you would need it to and much more. The software that is made for the headset it very good to, it is very customizable. The cushioning for the headset is extremely comfortable so you can wear it for hours and not even know its on your head. The sound that comes from it is very good.

Cons: Software wasn't in the package and i had to find it online but other than that this is the best headset ive had

2 out of 5 eggsNot good enough

Pros: Detachable mic
Detachable USB cord ( somewhat a con )
Dual 3.5mm/USB input ( not at the same time )
Solid construction compared to other headsets
Volume knob/mic switch on ear cup
Great mic quality

Cons: Bad drivers -- just don't use them
Too tight to average head or ears
Uncomfortable ear cup material
Foam between head and top of headset is too firm
Detachable USB cord is really really tight, leading to easy breakage of the port itself
Pricey for what is not really amazing audio quality
Surround sound doesn't work/is overly difficult to set up
Annoying clicking noise in some audio when using Creative's drivers

Other Thoughts: I am not by any means an audiophile, but I found this headset to be very lacking. I bought it at a discount, but would still say that it was not worth its price tag (not that anything is anymore).

The audio quality is definitely above $20-$30 headsets, and the ear cups are decently soundproof. The microphone is really the best part about this thing, very good quality and only picks up my voice instead of other things happening in the room. The construction of the actual headset is quite solid.

However, they really just aren't that good. I am on my second pair of these. The first one broke because the microUSB port simply stopped working properly after removing and inserting the cable only about 10 times. On both pairs, there's been this incessant clicking sound, caused by the bad drivers attempting to upsample audio to 44kHz or something. Just don't use the drivers. After uninstalling them, everything worked better, though now I can't ever change my LED colors.

For my head, which I've been told is of average size for a Caucasian white male, it's very uncomfortable. The earcups are just barely too small to give my ears room, making the tips of my ears rub against the insides abrasively. The actual cups themselves are uncomfortable, press on my head and give me a headache, and I'm not the type to get headaches. I was forced to pull more comfortable earcups out of another headset (another Creative headset that broke) and wear those between my head and the earcups just to wear them for longer than half an hour. The foam that pads the top of the headset presses onto my scalp too firmly, and has actually made me lose some hair where it sits.

Overall I use these headphones without the intended software or drivers, wear them at an angle so they don't hurt my scalp, and have earpads wedged between them and my head. If I have to do this just to wear them functionally, something is very wrong.

1 out of 5 eggsRMA'd

Pros: Good, When it was Working

Cons: RMA'd

Other Thoughts: well this awesome headset was working fine, as u can see in my previous review. but all of a sudden it just stopped working as if it just blew a fuse or something. would eventually connect and disconnect on its own. (the cord obv). and cut in and out. and now eventually it just stopped working. windows does not recognize it anymore when its plugged in. infact. it doesn't even say anythings plugged in. i requested an RMA for a replacement. well see how the replacement goes and if i just got one bad apple out of the bunch. will place a new review after RMA is processed.

4 out of 5 eggsGood Sound

Pros: Light Weight
Easy to use
Illumination
Good Sound
Surround Sound Software

Cons: Feels like its loose on my head
Not so Sleek looking

Other Thoughts: These headphones are pretty good. their sound quality is impressive. the surround sound captures the environment of the game well. the software that you install and the customization of bass and surround sound is good. as well as the voice changer. fun to play with. only thing bad about these headphones so far is that at times it seems like its loose and going to fall off my head. but i do have a small head so. the microphone quality is good too. no problems thus far. the illumination of the ear cups is sweet. you can set colors as well as make it pulsate to the sound of your game or music. USB connection is nice. although the cord does seem to tangle up at times. attachable mic is always nice too.

3 out of 5 eggsDecent

Pros: All feature of the set well made and sounds fair.

Cons: Places weight unevenly and cause the top of the head to become sore after about 3 hours of usage.

Other Thoughts: I wish the ear muffs were more comfortable and did not make my ears sweat.

2 out of 5 eggsSo-So Headset

Pros: Great sound and microphone. It is fun to play around with the voice changer. The wireless range is pretty good as well in an apartment (studio) when you are doing chores and other things.

Cons: The headset is really heavy and after a long gaming session, my ears would hurt. On top of that, the headset is starting to show signs that it may stop working soon even though I kept the headset in good condition (the on/off switch light stops lighting up, sound coming and going, etc).

Other Thoughts: This is probably personal but the constant beeping when the headset is low on battery is set at 40% with no way of changing the warning.
