2 out of 5 eggsNot as expected

Pros: good sound and the ability to pair with mobile devices is nice

Cons: this device is suposed to fit around the ear, unfortunatly it sits on top of the ear and there is no way to fit your ear inside the small opening. This problem caused discomfort withing and hour of use.

2 out of 5 eggsLacking - I expected them to be bigger

Pros: Versatility with multiple format connection - USB, dual 3.5mm (with adapter), Mobile, dual pairing Bluetooth
Software audio control on mobile or PC (USB only) voice changer, mic volume, equalizer (settings saved in headset when connected Bluetooth only)
Audio - out of the box, not so good BUT after the firmware update it got so much better (you must leave SBX on or it's garbage)
Headset - Also, post firmware update it was much better, though mic volume when switching between in game chat and mobile use showed some discontinuity (more in cons)
Good construction, portability (they fold up and fit better in your bag)
Surround sound (usb only) I don't have an aptx enabled Bluetooth adapter on my PC so I cannot comment on virtual surround sound Bluetooth

Cons: Tight - Construction is solid and rigid, but also very tight on my head which causes them to be painful after 30-45 minutes of use
Small - One would expect a circumaural headset to totally encompass (rest around) your ears, these are too small to accomplish this The padding will sit on your ear, while they do seal pretty well they are not at all what you would expect from a gaming headset. They must have photoshopped the images in their marketing portfolio... or found some people with some really tiny heads.
Control panel software on the PC does not work when connected via Bluetooth (but that is how it works from my phone?!?) cannot find device in the software.
No mic feedback option, a must so you don't end up screaming at the game.
Bluetooth audio drops out (Intel centrino N 6230 combo WIFI bluetooth 3.0 adapter) from the laptop in front of me.
MIC volume is adjustable BUT I have to set it real low on my PC or I'm screaming at everyone, but when I answer a call I have to turn up the mic volume or I cannot be heard... some discontinuity between usb connection and Bluetooth... I've fiddled with my phone and PC and can't make it work for both.

Other Thoughts: Sometimes I expect a bit too much from technology. I would prefer if I could mix my Bluetooth headset functions with game audio not a either or function. I would prefer the option to set game check a box in the control software that would allow me to set a reduced game volume and still play it through the headset while I am on a call through Bluetooth and on my computer via Bluetooth, usb, or 3.5 mm - the call just takes over. What is the point of dual pairing without control over how you want the sources to be utilized (I know it's so you don't miss a call while engulfed in a game)

I was going to try a Tosbluex to try streaming an optical audio via Bluetooth to the headset (PS3, TV, media center...) and use the dual pairing to stream game audio and headset chat to the ps3... but unfortunately I have to choose which Bluetooth stream I want. Which means no Bluetooth chat with streaming music from anything (though it uses different profiles)
If the unit were more comfortable I would wait and see what they do with the software. The product feels rushed out, the initial released software/firmware did not work well. They fixed some issues with the update, but I still think my computer should be able to configure the headset via Bluetooth connection.

These are being returned.
