3 out of 5 eggsGood phones, could be better

Pros: Good sound quality, easy to recharge

Cons: Awkward location of controls, tune-in wheel can be easily confused with volume control, one may expect that headphones in this price category have individual volume controls for each ear, headphones feel somewhat uncomfortable because of their shape

Other Thoughts: Sale price ($50) is probably what they worth on a good day

5 out of 5 eggsSennheizer = AMAZING!

Pros: I can walk around my whole house listing to my music! Make my self some lunch? Jam out! they are verry comfortable, I can wear them for hours on end, I have no problems with the fitting. I got them on sale form here on new egg and I think it was the best 50$ I spent on headphones. These are my second pair of Sennheisers my other pair is the HD 457 which i bought from new egg about 3 years ago and they are still amazing. Bottom line is Sennheizer(The Germans) Know how to make amazing audio products. Will buy nothing but them for headphones!

Cons: None, unless you think the static when you are listing to nothing is really that bad... but how do you stop it? Play more music!

Other Thoughts: I am even thinking about wearing them in the spring time while i mow my lawn!

5 out of 5 eggsBroadcasting two RS 120 units at opposite ends in a 3bdrm apartment was easy

Pros: Newegg had an after Xmas sale and I ponied up for the extra unit at an extra 10% off. It was totally worth it! Broadcasting two RS 120 units at opposite ends in a 3bdrm apartment was easy. I set up one in the bedroom for my ancient iPod and switch it to one frequency and use the other unit on another frequency in the living room for the TV. The signals never really cross until you tune into one of the three frequencies with the HDR 120 dial as expected. I was most impressed with the range as I have a 3bdrm apartment arranged in a long hallway and I can hear it clearly at higher volumes. Could still blow your hears because the volume level is based on the audio device's output -> station's input. I took a chance on getting two and I was very satisfied with the decision. The charge is very decent and because I have two stations, I can recharge as necessary. The batteries may die out after a couple years but I can replace hopefully... Thanks Newegg! Long time customer since 1998 stores!!!

Cons: They come in large boxes that look so purty i can't break them down for recycling. But they're large so they take up space. I don't know if i should recycle or hoard. Hmmm

4 out of 5 eggsJust didn't work out for me

Pros: Wireless is nice, rechargeable base works well. It seemed to have good reception. Sound quality was pretty good, but like others have said, it sounds like an FM radio station, because that is pretty much what it is. But I was happy with the sound.

Cons: The headphones became uncomfortable on my ears within a few minutes of usage. There is an occasional hiss in the signal, just like an FM radio, and there is also a small bit of static when the sound is quiet (like between songs).

Those weren't terrible, though. The reason I am returning them is because my Onkyo HT-R560 receiver did not function with these headphones the way I thought it would. I thought that I could plug the Sennheiser base unit into the "TAPE OUT" in the back. However, this only captures analog / RCA inputs. My HTPC and my PS3 both use S/PDIF (digital connections), and nothing came out of the TAPE output. I could plug them into the front headphone jack every time I wanted to use them, but this is too much of a hassle for me.

Other Thoughts: I had visions of my wife being able to use these whenever she wanted to listen to the TV late at night. I don't think this would happen if she had to open up the cabinet, find the headphone wire, and plug it in the front.

I returned them for the wired Sennheiser 201's which were on a pretty good sale. These will be for my usage only.

4 out of 5 eggslove it!

Pros: Sound quality is decent. Comfortable to wear. It stays on my average size head very well. I Can't figure out the complaints that it falls off the head easily.

Cons: The range probably way shorter than the claimed 328 ft. It is like 100 ft the most (through non-metallic wall).

Cons: very limited connection options hard to get to work along with HDMI

5 out of 5 eggsGreat wireless product

Pros: Comfortable, fabric type earpiece covering very comfortable.
Audio quality is great. Coverage extends two floors down from bedroom to farthest basement area of house with no apparent audio degradation. Recharging setup (place on transmitter frame) is convenient and can see from across room that they are charging. Tuning control doesn't have to be adjusted when going from area to area.

Cons: Minor item : If you are doing something active (ie bending over, active physical exercise) they may slip off head.

5 out of 5 eggsGot a Couple More

Pros: Excellent Sound
Good Range
Comfortable enough to zonk out with them on

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: Switched to 2000 mAmp AAA NiMH batteries and seems to work better than best. Just dont have to worry about them dying overnight and forgetting to recharge them. Got 2 for a friend's 60th. He liked the junky wirreless RCA's I gave him and has been envious of these. 4 AAA also being given. Know he doesnt expect the best.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Product

Pros: Very clean, clear sound, comfortable to wear. Great product

Cons: a little touchy to tune

Other Thoughts: I have two of these, one for home and one for a vacation condo. I need them for when my daughter is over and she and my wife are talking too loudly! I have mine connected to the audio out from the TV. You need to read the directions --- tune the frequency with one knob and then the volume with the other knob. For those having a problem hearing only static --- make sure the TV or receiver is set up to provide an audio signal out where you have the phones connected (green light signifies a signal). That connection may be turned off by default! I have mine set so that I can have both the headphones connected AND the volume from the receiver at the same time, but both the TV AND the receiver may need to be set up properly to achieve this.

3 out of 5 eggsso so

Pros: range is great, no static as I move around, which has always been the problem with other headsets

Cons: I got these so I could listen to my music loud, and not bother anyone. There is just too much distortion when turned up for me to handle. They are great for the TV. If you can get them for 50 bucks, its worth it. If I had paid over 100 I would be really upset.
