Must have for Mac users buying PC-350's

Pros: The ADC is calibrated to the levels appropriate for Sennheiser's high-end headset mics.
The device is natively supported by OSX.
The DAC quality is quite good, better suited to power the drivers in the PC-350 than the built-in headphone jack, with especially noticeable improvements at the frequency extremes. (try listening to something like Vangelis)
Contrary to another review, the output levels from the DAC are equivalent or slightly higher than what my MacBook Pro can manage natively.

Cons: It didn't come in the PC-350 box. I've seen some reviews of the PC-151 that mention the UUSB1 being included. Sennheiser ought to bundle it with every PC-350 too.

Other Thoughts: This is especially important for Mac users because the built-in sound card on MacBooks is not capable of handling the microphone levels produced by Sennheiser's PC-151 and PC-350 headsets.

great adapter for any headset

Pros: i have two of these, one came with my sennheiser pc-155 headset, the other i bought separately. either one works great with other headsets, not just sennheiser, and the ability to hot-swap with the usb is great. i use mine mainly for gaming and in-game voice comm's which allows one to have the game audio come from the pc speakers and voice with the headsets.

Cons: ...ammm... price.... but thats not neweggs fault
