Sound Isolating Technology
The E2g's in ear design works like an earplug to block background noise naturally. This enables you to listen comfortably at lower volumes -- even in loud environments. And unlike bulky headphones utilizing active noise cancellation technology, no artifacts are introduced into your listening experience. Sound isolating earphones are also much smaller and don't require batteries.
Speaker Type: Dynamic MicroDrivers
The E2g's speakers are constructed with studio-grade components, producing outstanding audio clarity that allows you to hear your music like never before. (See technical specs)
Personal Fit Kit
Because every ear is different, E2g Earphones come with three pairs (small, medium, large) of disposable Foam Sleeves, and three pairs (small, medium, large) of Flex Sleeves to ensure the ideal personalized fit.
Secure In Ear Design
The soft, flexible sleeves in the Fit Kit gently contour the inside of the ear for a comfortable, secure fit so that the earphones don't fall out while you're exercising.
Low-Profile Earphone Cables
The E2g's cables pass behind the ear - out of sight and out of the way -- to provide a more comfortable, discreet fit.
Lightweight Construction
Weighing only 1 oz (30g), the E2g is lightweight and comfortable enough for any portable listening application -- packing a big punch in such a compact package.
Earphones Carrying Case
The E2g comes with a stylish, compact carrying case. The cable spool inside provides a convenient, tangle-free way to store your earphones.
Professional Grade Warranty and Money-Back Guarantee
Every E2g ordered from this website comes with a 30-day, no-questions-asked, money-back guarantee, plus a two-year Professional Grade Warranty on materials and workmanship

5 out of 5 eggsThe last earphones I'll ever wear

Pros: Audio quality is second to none (except the higher end Shure line) Sound isolation is excellent! Comes with a variety of ear pieces. I actually like the amount of bass coming from these, once tuned. The wiring on these are great! I used to own a pair of Skullcandy, but the knocking of wires was annoying. I also owned a pair of sony fontopias, but the wires became stripped in no time. I stopped using my full-size headphones at home because of these.

Cons: You have to break these in. Not a strange feature to most high quality audio equipment, but be sure to allow your Shure's to run on a med-high volume for at least 24 hours. Afterwards, spend a day on each of the ear pieces listening to your favorite music. I thought i had the right combination with the medium foam pieces, then i thought the large foam pieces were better. Eventually i tuned in with the small black silicone pieces. Go figure.

Other Thoughts: I decided to one-up on the lawn mower test and took these to an indoor gun range. These took a beating that day, but my ears remained comfortable and faired better than my usual earplugs. With shotgun blasts, m-16 bursts, and my .45; these really impressed me. *i don't recommend doing that test, plese use appropriate ear protection when using firearms*

4 out of 5 eggsGreat portable sound!

Pros: They work like earplugs so even when the audio is off you can barely hear any outside noise which seems to be the only advantage over my high-end OpenAir headphones. They also work much better than electronic noise-cancelling headphones, since electronic ones seem to only block out subtle and quiet ambient noises E.G. the engine hum on an airplane, while these earphones are great for blocking out any type of noise. I put these to the ultimate test and wore them while mowing the lawn. Music was crystal clear and my lawnmower was nothing but a faint rattle in the background ...I'm impressed. Bass is nice as long as you wear them correctly. Audio quality seems the same as mid-range studio headphones which means they are top notch for portable use.

Cons: Not sure if they are the most comfortable earphones. The foam pads made the my ears hurt for no apparent reason, and the rubber pads are so air-tight it hurts to put them in sometimes. Smallest black rubber pads worked out the best for me. Also the paint is very poor and my L and R letters were completely scratched off within only 3 days of owning them!

Other Thoughts: My friend claims his E3Gs are far superior for bass than the E2Gs. When I got the E2G the E3G was nearly double the price, no way I can pay that much for Mp3 player earphones. I settled for less and audio quality still blew me away.

5 out of 5 eggsnice

Pros: i was going to get a noise cancelling headphones and came across this earphoens.
sure it doesnt have, noise cancelling but with this one it goes kind of deep in your ear that you hear nothing but music..
it says dont jog with these because you cant hear the cars, its true, dont get this for jogging.

Cons: took time to find the right fit. after 10 mins or so i ended up with the clear medium size one. the foam is better in term of isolating the sound but i kinda went for the looks.

Other Thoughts: as usual newegg ships the best. i live in hawaii and it usually takes about week to get my things. i ordered sunday evening and got it on wednesday morning. fast shipping
