Genius Twin Wheel F1 - Vibration Feedback Racing Wheel for PS2 & PC with D-Pad Included

Pros: Looks to be a quality made controller

Cons: This controller comes with absolutely no usable / informative instructions in it's so called users manual. There is nothing in this manual to tell you how to use the device, or how to troubleshoot it. If you are new to playing PC games, do not expect to be able to figure this controller out, because there is absolutely no "how to" information to be found on this item. I was all over the net, and the manufacturers web site looking for help, and there is nothing to be found.

Pros: Plug and play, vibration simple to use.

Cons: Lets start with the notacable ones:
-Small Wheel
-180 degrees of rotation(90 in either direction)
-Vibration works in very few games
- Circle and Triangle buttons appear in the same place as the paddle shifters
-Mounting bracket nut is made of plastic
-Angle detection breaks if you play games for 1hr+ on it.

Problem: Waited for this wheel for a bit, got excited, first wheel i've owned, although i've tried many others, including the T-500 and the Logitech G27. This wheel i bought to start off my race sim rig. This wheel, though it is good for F1 games, games that require quick, large movments of the wheel cause the wheel to nod off with turn detection. The wheel ran fine the first night, drifting on LFS and putting down lap times in F1 2012 and RaceRoom Racing Experience like it was my job, then, the next day, I went to play LFS, thats when the detection started to bug, it was fine till about 10-40 degrees, then it would center, then letting the wheel actually center broke too, with the wheel registering a center about 10-15 to the right, but, thats not all, throttle recognition broke as well, with it randomly switching to a negative axis(Full throttle was 0% Throttle, no throttle was full)

Other Thoughts: If the person using it is smaller, and is playing less-intense racing games, I would advise this, but for me, it was a waste.

Pros: I RECEIVED THE PACKAGE QUICKLY.THE FEEL OF THE WHEEL IS EXCELLENT. ITS JUST LIKE DRIVING A REAL CAR. SO FAR NO PROBLEMS WITH THE PRODUCT.

Cons: THE ONLY BAD THING IS THAT IT WAS SMALLER THAN WHAT I EXPECTED AND THE PEDALS WERE ALSO SMALL, BUT I GOT USE TO IT AND THE VIBRATION DOES NOT WORK WITH THE 64 BIT DRIVERS BUT IT INSTALLS BOTH 64-BIT AND 32-BIT ON YOUR DESKTOP. IN ORDER TO GET THE VIBRATION TO WORK I HAD TO ENABLE 32-BIT.

Other Thoughts: OVERALL AN EXCELLENT BUY IF THIS IS YOUR FIRST RACING WHEEL FOR PC. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT

Pros: Nice wheel overall It does exactly what you'd expect it to.This wheel is the ideal way to make racing games fun without shelling out a ton of cash for a nicer wheel. The wheel fits very nicely on my desk this is a very darn good product over all.

Cons: None

Pros: Force feedback works even though I purchased thinking it did not and that it was a "known issue"... Just launch the controller in 32-bit mode and FF works fine :) When you install the driver, 2 icons will be placed on your desktop. One for each 32 and 64-bit games. I run W764.

Cons: I have no cons yet. I knew it was smaller before I purchased, but it doesn't seem to matter at all. I like the size now. It's not flimsy.

Other Thoughts: I'm giving 5 eggs because it said it was inexpensive, and it was. It said it works, and it does. It clamps to my desk and does not move. I like it and am buying a 2nd for my home LAN. It's not the wheel I really wanted, but that one is very expensive, and I could never justify a 2nd one for a friend to use here.

Pros: cost for this product is outstanding for what you get! It's a great value. USE for Dirt 2 & 3. very compaq, easily take it on the run. NO issues. Plug and play in XP 32bit & WIN764.

Cons: NO, cons! any of you that say it made of plastic and feels flismy, should spend more money! You want durable to last. Then pay for it. Dont nock off rating because of it. I only need it to work for a few years, and I am half way there. Wheels tech changes and I dont want to wrap up big bucks in wheel every 2 years. 3rd wheel in 7 years.

Other Thoughts: adjustable force feedback is the reason I upgraded from my last barebones wheel. I like tight wheel, my kids dont. Last budget wheel worked great, but this was great upgrade for little to nothing in cost. I would have not bought it if I spent $100+ on the previous wheel.

Pros: I bought this for some casual racing games with my kiddo. It works well with Dirt 2&3, Grid, and Need for speed Shift. So far the force feedback doesn't quite work in the game, although it works on the test program. :(

Cons: For the price, none really, things works as well as I expect.

Pros: Nice wheel overall, besides there's nothing to compare it to at this price point. The 90 degree twist limit isn't actually too bad because the recoil is very strong. Plenty of additinal controls on the wheel. Got the vibration working by launching the 32-bit program from the desktop (that was installed with the driver) before playing my games.

Cons: Wheel is somewhat small and pedals are flimsy and tend to move around a lot during gameplay if set on a hard surface. Having issues configuring the pedals on NFS The Run, otherwise all my other titles run well.

Other Thoughts: Great overall especially for under 30 bucks. Makes me look like less of a n00b than I really am.

Pros: It does exactly what you'd expect it to. This wheel is the ideal way to make racing games fun without shelling out a ton of cash for a nicer wheel. The combination of low price and solid build mean that you can thrash your way through excited racing without worrying about hurting your wheel.

Cons: No force feedback but I knew that buying it so I can't very well take away an egg, especially given the price. Also quite small.

Pros: Didn't know what to expect from a wheel/pedal combo that was this cheap, but needed a pair for a PS2. Took a shot at this & was quite impressed . . .

Cons: None so far . . .

Other Thoughts: No, it's not comparable to my Logitech Driving Force GT, but then it doesn't cost as much either. If you need a wheel/pedal set & want a cheap solution, you really can't beat this . . .
