2 out of 5 eggsNot all good

Pros: Good sound nice rumble feature mic is crispy clean

Cons: After being use for about ten minutes the entire headset went to complete static. I had to unplug it an plug it back in to get it to work then ten minutes later the same thing.

3 out of 5 eggsAffordable Decent Headset

Pros: Nice headset, clear mic sound. Program that comes with headset gives you alot of options when trying to fine tune your sound for perfection. Had some fun playing with different voices on microphone.

Cons: Even though it says "Dolby surround sound" & "7.1 speakers". It doesn't really sound like surround sound when playing movies or games, it just sounds like someone with two speakers playing them in an empty room with a little echo. The headset does get a little tight on the ears and the ear covers tend to pop off every once in a while.

Other Thoughts: A decent headset for an affordable price, so I can't complain too much. I'll probably buy a real surround sound headset later but for now these will do.

3 out of 5 eggsNot Bad

Pros: Best sound in a headset I've had yet. Vibrate feature lets you feel the base of what you're listening to. Crystal clear sound and voice chat. I use vent and teamspeak and people say they can hear me great. The mic is very easy to maneuver in and out of the way, silently. Mute button on the wire controls is an added bonus when you have to have a conversation with someone that the people on voice chat don't need to hear.

Cons: After about an hour the headset tends to get a little tight on the ears and starts to hurt. After about an hour and a half to two hours it becomes intolerable. I suppose that's an added incentive not to spend too much time on the computer. That should make my wife happy ;)

Other Thoughts: Good headset for sound comfort level could be better though. If the comfort was there, I would never leave my computer; it sounds that great. The price you can't really beat. Buying a headset like this at someplace like Best Buy, would probably cost twice as much. It's always a pleasure buying from Newegg.

3 out of 5 eggsPretty neat vibrate feature

Pros: I just got this today and it works great so far... I think the vibrating feature is pretty neat. The mic works great.

Cons: Might no be comfortable for long hours of usage and the cord is too short ( at least for me )

Other Thoughts: I probably would spend just a little for for a comfortable one. It's great if you're not planning to use it more than 1-2 hours.

5 out of 5 eggsGood Headphones

Pros: Good sound with nice clear bass and treble. Not necessarily for the audio enthusiast, but certainly enough to warrant 5 stars in this category. Nice flexible microphone boom. I bought this to try out, as I have another (brand name) USB headset that can get rather uncomfortable after about 20 minutes. This set seems a bit better.

Cons: Slight 60Hz hum on the microphone, which is what I was trying to eliminate by going with USB. (poor grounding on my house power is the cause) Other USB headsets seem to isolate that problem quite well. Using the noise cancellation tools in Vista help eliminate this as a problem, though I would not recommend the microphone for much other than voicechat or speech recognition. Also, it would be nice if these did NOT collapse. It makes them awkward to put on, and with the boom, doesn't really save any space.

Other Thoughts: Not sure what is accomplished by having the "vibration" (think rumble on a console controller), as it doesn't seem to actually enhance the audio at all. Just seems like a novelty more than anything. Not distracting, just kind of useless IMHO. 5-stars, because for the clarity I think it would still be a bargain at at least 1.5X the price.

5 out of 5 eggsExcellent headset

Pros: great sound, comfortable and very flexible mic. The inline volume control also has a mute button, nice feature! Another reviewer mentioned that this headset was not compatible with Vista, this is not the case, I currently use it with Vista with no problems. Lastly it has a nice heavy duty cord. I keep shutting it in the drawers of my desk without damage.

Cons: Using these for gaming and wearing them for hours at a time I can't complain about anything, they do a great job.

4 out of 5 eggsAwesome

Pros: The vibration makes the Bass sound great. Theyre extreamly confortable. The mic is flexible.

Cons: They don't get real loud. However the BIGGEST con is that THEY DONT WORK FOR VISTA. Well at least in my case it didn't. Whenever I plugged it into my Vista Home premium SP1 computer it just crashed and got really buggy.

Other Thoughts: If you have windows XP, these headsets are AMAZING for the price, and I dont regret this choice one bit.

4 out of 5 eggsKids Love It

Pros: Great for the kids. Vibration is a nice novelty and they dont fall off of smaller heads. The sound is great for the price and they appear sturdy enough to last rough usage.

Cons: The cord should be longer. Use these with front usb or better yet a usb hub on the desk.

Other Thoughts: I have had approx. 20 deliveries from Newegg in the last 3 months and not one problem.
