4 out of 5 eggsNot a bad mouse at all... but -

Pros: Plenty.

Cons: 2 buttons on far right are not intuitive in placement, left & right secondary buttons require abandoning common L/R finger placement which is rather distracting in game.

Primary Con - this the only mouse I've ever had that began double-clicking with every single click after 8 months. I find no way to get into the case to clear possible debris (pet hair, typically) or otherwise determine if the fault is native to the device - a failed part - or from a secondary source. Drivers have not updated in quite some time.

Other Thoughts: I would definitely recommend this mouse for those who find the button placement comfortable for them. It's nice under the hand, moves well, has nicely positive clickback on all buttons.

2 out of 5 eggsDouble click issue after 9 months

Pros: This mouse replaced an old G5 my dog chewed. I decided to buy this one after a couple of days of comparisons and liked the variety and buttons on this mouse. The Gila fits my hand perfectly, the buttons are responsive, and the software installed right away with no issues. The lights are cool and I like the fact that they're programmable - a nice touch.

Cons: I've had no complaints about the Gila up until now. After about 9 months I all of a sudden started experiencing the annoying double click issue. This really sucks because other than that I really like the Gila. I will be reaching out to Genius for their warranty.

Other Thoughts: I hope I can get this resolved somehow. I spent $99 on this mouse last year. I don't want to have to buy another one.

2 out of 5 eggsDouble click

Pros: It feels and looks awesome. Great mouse feel in hand. The lighting is the nicest of any mouse I have seen.

Cons: After 6 months of use, just like everyone else reported, the left button started to double click. A shame as the mouse was really great until this. Will never purchase another Genius product again. At this price point this is unacceptable.

Other Thoughts: MADE IN CHINA, P*S! This is only the 2nd mouse I have ever seen failed in 25 years! The other being a Razor. Never had a Logitech fail, ever!

5 out of 5 eggsMouse Authority

Pros: This mouse is so awesome, where do I begin? I guess gaming would be the right place to start. So I'd say that one way in which this trumps the competition is its extreme customizability. In total there are 14 customizable buttons on the mouse (including scroll weel, lmb, and rmb), some of which include sensitivity adjustors so that you can easily change to any sensitivity even while in game. Also, the software feature that comes with the mouse allows for several different mouse configurations meaning that you can set the mouse buttons for a desktop mode, a Skyrim mode, a BF3 mode, etc. Also the scroll speed is really quick. It looks and feels amazing and the fact that the weight is adjustable is a huge plus. Not to mention you can even make a custom lighting setup. I've had this mouse for over a year and wouldn't mind spending the next 10 years with it. Also, check out Genius's audioware. Affordable, great quality. I love this brand.

Cons: Sometimes the customizations don't save properly so you may encounter those small software issues.

4 out of 5 eggsGreat Mouse

Pros: Great speed if you want it. You can set the DPI high, but it is never needed. Never buy a mouse for the DPI, it usually should be set to 3k dpi or lower anyhow.

Cons: The right click will double click, and you have to use firmware from them to fix it.

Other Thoughts: Almost got 5 stars from me because the mouse fits my hand like a glove, but the drivers are NEVER updated and see cons.

4 out of 5 eggsFine for Windows

Pros: Mouse works great in the Windows environment. The utility is fun to play with too, and gives a lot of control over the LEDs. Little things.

Cons: No drivers available for this mouse (at the time I tried) in a Linux environment. In fact it is recognized as a keyboard rather than a mouse.

Other Thoughts: It's smaller and lighter than my ideal mouse. Although some people prefer this so it is not a con.

3 out of 5 eggsMine malfunctioned as well

Pros: I like the mouse layout and design. And it feels solid.

Cons: The M1 button is faulty on my mouse. That is on the very top left of the face of the mouse. It will work, sometimes, if I mash the hell out of it.

I never got the software to work well. It never seems to save profiles to onboard memory.

Also, everything is macros when programming keys. I had a logitech G-310 (I think) that let you map buttons to keystrokes.

Other Thoughts: I still use it. I just dont map anything to that key. I have worked around the macro issue. But I am in the market for a new mouse, probably a logitech.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Mouse!

Pros: First off, I love this mouse. Purchased on a different website to save some cash. Sorry newegg :( Love you guys.

Anyway, Plenty of buttons, GREAT sensitivity, custom lights (on, off, dim, bright, pulse/w speeds, tons of colors, different colored sections, etc), multiple profiles, weight system, braided cable. The list goes on. All of the things listed in its description work very well!

The clickable region extends very far back so its hard to miss a click and the scroll wheel is easy to push down for a click as well.

Cons: Nothing bad about this mouse I can't get used to with more time. And I do believe I will have it for a long while.

Some buttons are a little strange to reach for but I really don't need all of them to have easy access just a few.

The software is good BUT saving changes to your macros/buttons/lights has an oddly long loading time. Not a huge downer though.

The mouse itself is a little smaller than I'm used to so I find that it makes the high sensitivity feel even more delicate because of this. Nothing a little time to get used to won't fix.

Other Thoughts: One of the best purchases I've made in a while. I would highly recommend.

2 out of 5 eggsDouble Click

Pros: -Lots of buttons, I like the positioning and the unique design.
-Color customization for the different profiles (6 profiles in all).
-Macro programming

Cons: The infamous double click that people are having issues with has begun for me around 2-3 weeks ago, and I ordered this mouse in late April. I thought at first maybe it was because of the fact that I carry my mouse around a lot for LAN parties and the buttons had been depressed while in my bag. Apparently that's not the case.

Other Thoughts: For a $80-100 mouse depending on sales, 8 months functionality is not the best life span on a mouse.

5 out of 5 eggsgreat mouse

Pros: mouse works great right out of the box, software is easy to install and profiles are stored on the mouse's internal memory rather than your computer. This is great since this allows me to seamlessly swap my mouse from laptop to desktop with the same settings on every profile.

Cons: software is a little dodgy when changing the colors of the lights, but otherwise works just fine

Other Thoughts: I bought this one while on sale about 8 months ago and loved it immediately. It went on sale again about a month later and I picked up another one so I could keep one at home and one at work. Absolutely recommended
