5 out of 5 eggsGood little headset

Pros: Nice little headset for the price. Works well.
Surprisingly good bass to it.

Cons: Ever so slightly too small. If there was just one more inch around the head it would be perfect.

2 out of 5 eggsWay too small

Pros: 1. The mic on it worked fine
2. The audio quality was fine
3. decently long cord

Cons: 1. VERY small, like painful to your ears cause they dont fit right on a normal persons head

Other Thoughts: Really if the whole thing was just bigger it'd be fine, but it's not unfortunately. If you have small ears maybe these will be fine for you, otherwise i'd stay away, the cheap price tag might draw you in, but its really not worth the ear pain.

1 out of 5 eggsDidn't last long, can't RMA

Pros: These seemed pretty nice, but broke a bit past the 30 day window to RMA. The long cord is necessary for me but actually a bit too long. Audio seemed decent but I won't pose like an expert on that.

Cons: Broke way too soon. At first, I thought there was a problem with the jack or my computer case. For a few weeks I had been having to pull the plug out slightly to get anything beyond very minimal sound and this was putting the strength at 50%. I could tell I was missing half the audio and it would occasionally get stronger if I messed with the plug.

Today my already weakened sound started cutting in and out. I figured I had to mess with the plug, but no it seems like the plastic volume control housing along the cord has some problem.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat headphones

Pros: retractable microphone, soft cushiony ear pads, good volume control, price

Cons: none

Other Thoughts: I've used these all the time for the past year. They don't completely cover over my ear, but close.

3 out of 5 eggsDecent

Pros: They work pretty well for the price and the long cable gives you space to work with.

Cons: It does seem to be designed for smaller ears so long term use is not exactly comfortable.

Other Thoughts: If your ears are small then these are definitely for you. Would make a good option for children since they can be destroyed without putting a huge dent in your bank account.

2 out of 5 eggsSound quality is fine, but it does hurt

Pros: The sound quality is decent, works as it's supposed to. Cord length is wonderful. The price at the time I bought it last week was $11.99 with free shipping, good deal.

Arrived from New Jersey in just 1 day actually, even though I was expecting it in 4-7 business days. Must have been during a low-traffic period.

Cons: I was really hoping that all these negative reviews about pain on the ears and discomfort and tightness were just people over-complaining about using a new headset within an hour or two that not uncommonly has tightness since it's new. But no, it really does hurt and wasn't getting better for the 5 days I've been using it. The problem is that the padding on the earmuff/ear cup is not as thick as you'd hope, and that means your ear cartilage, especially the upper ridge that sticks out and the top of your ear are up against the flat wall of the inner ear cup, which is the speaker, and the foam or whatever padding there is thin. So, your ear cartilage is essentially right up against and pressing that, and it hurts either right away or after some minutes, and especially when you shift or take the headset off. Bad for wearing for long periods of time. I was disappointed. I plan to return it, and I've already ordered another, albeit more expensive, headset, Turtle Beach X12, and hopefully that'll be a more comfortable one. Perhaps if the padding was thicker, it'd be a non-issue on that cartilage touching the wall, and the tightness (very tight squeeze) exacerbating that.

Other Thoughts: Would be nice if the headset itself were a little larger. Even extended all the way, it's not the best fit for anything larger than a small head. Though it was sufficient size.

I hate giving bad reviews, but I was shocked at how disappointed I was with the pain and tightness.

3 out of 5 eggsNot great

Pros: This headset is very small and easy to take with me and the volume nob is placed in a good position on the cord.

Cons: The mic broke after about a month from the wires inside of the headset broke off, and it gets uncomfortable to wear after around 45 min of use.

Other Thoughts: Overall this mic is worth the price if it last but a couple days after contacting newegg they fixed the problem and I'm happy for that and will be looking for a better headset from newegg because of that.

5 out of 5 eggscheap and worth the money

Pros: Great sound quality
Very clear microphone

Cons: The earcups on the headphones are a bit to small and were obviously shaped to someones smaller ears
The cord comes out of the right side of the headset instead of the left like most do

3 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Sound isn't bad, given the price.
Long cord.

Cons: Uncomfortable at first.
Headphone jack is not sturdy, broke off inside of my desktop.

Other Thoughts: Only had it for a week and a half.
If you are tight on cash and willing to risk the headphone jack breaking off inside of your computer, it isn't a bad choice.
Otherwise, look elsewhere.
Closest thing to abuse the product went through was my 15-pound dog tugging on the cord a little bit.
