1 out of 5 eggsHorrible headset

Pros: The Microphone is much better then I expected it to be.

Cons: No Vibration what so ever.

Left ear piece stopped working about three months into use because the cord was curling up on it's self and ruined the wires at the base of the ear peice. This also caused the microphone to fail.

This tend to happen with usb headsets an I knew that when I bought it but still for almost 80 dollars I was expecting some thing with a little more quality.

The plastic that holds it together is complete garbage and if you're not careful can and will snap.

Extremely uncomfortable after about an hour of use.

Over all this is the worst purchase I have ever made off of newegg and I really regret wasting my money on it.

I really suggest that you either save your money or find a different headset.

4 out of 5 eggsSurprisingly decent

Pros: - 5.1 surround be default
- 7.1 emulation that sounds awesome
- Full audio range with better than decent clarity
- Good sized soft pads for ears
- Solid audio on mic
- Vibration for bass effects

Cons: - Above average difficulty for setup
- A couple of confusing and unexplained settings in drivers
- Mic jack doesn't lower beyond 90 degrees
- Vibration for bass is a little too desensitized

Other Thoughts: Just picked these up yesterday and got them today (I live near a newegg distribution center). Got them and plugged them into my work laptop. They started working immediately as a pair of stereo headphones courtesy of Razor Synapse. Unfortunately, this didn't allow for the 7.1 emulation to kick in, so I had to install the drivers.

This is where the difficulty with the setup came in. Windows was trying to pipe data into a digital output at first, after figuring out that I needed to disable Synapse, and shift the output over to the headset itself it started working. Then I enabled both 7.1 emulators, I'm not certain how the effects will work with just one (yet) but will experiment soon.

Cushions are nice and the pads fit around my larger than average ears.

Bass shaker is a little disappointing, it's not as sensitive as my Sony Pulse Elites which is good, but the volume has to be louder than I'd like it to be to have the shakers kick in.

Headset doesn't mute unless "Mute" is active on the control box. Not sure about the mic, that was looking a little squirrely with Citrix..

In all, not disappointed for the price they're solid headphones once they're configured.

5 out of 5 eggsImpressive

Pros: -5.1 Surround sound
-7.1 Surround sound emulation sounds perfect. I use this setting
-Mic Works good

Cons: -Not as comfortable as they look. They dont cover my average sized ears very well and they are a bit tight on my head.
-Had a weird problem with distorted/mangled audio until I restarted after installing them.
-I wouldn't say these are super user friendly. Some basic tech knowledge to get them going was required.
-It had problems on my case USB ports. I plugged it directly into the motherboard to alleviate this problem. I will have to look into it to determine if it was a voltage drop or something else.

Other Thoughts: A friend and I wanted this, so I bit the bullet to try it and now we are getting two of them. This is my second one as my first one was open box and didn't work at all.

Other Thoughts: would recommend for the price it is great will update later on product after having a while

1 out of 5 eggsVery poor craftsmanship

Pros: The first one worked for several months and sounded ok. Mic became an issue as did overall sound, and then it ceased to function. Checked on various USB ports and computers to no avail.

Cons: 1st one broke in a few months, second one broke with in weeks, third one did not work out of box. by broke I mean mic cut in and out and echoed, complete loss of microphone sound. Headphone sound declined and stopped completely. Third replacement -No sound, no mic. A cheap logitech headset, my koss or skullCandy ear buds worked much better.

Other Thoughts: They were replaced, but shipping prices became an issue. Almost my very last purchase from NewEgg, but they would only give me in store credit despite verifying the problems with Rosewill.

3 out of 5 eggsNo Windows 10 updated driver

Pros: The surround sound is passable as is the bass. The microphone sound quality is also passable. It's obviously not studio quality but it's better than telephone quality and good for Skyping, MMOing, or doing Twitch or Youtube videos.

The drivers in Windows 7 & 8.1 work with Stereo Mix option in Recording Devices.

For $40 or less it's a fair purchase.

Cons: The material around the ear cups have started deteriorating after one year of light usage.

Not suitable for wearing over long periods 2+hours. The pressure on the top of the cups becomes uncomfortable and there is very little pressure at the bottom of the cups.

The C-Media drivers have not been updated for Windows 10.

Other Thoughts: I'll be looking to purchase a new headphone, but I won't consider getting these again. It was a decent purchase at the time although I can't recommend them. Save your pennies and get a better headset even if you have to spend an additional $20 more.

5 out of 5 eggsPretty fricking amazing

Pros: They are comfortable around my ears and VERY loud. Which may seem like a pro, but my master volume is set to 10/100 and blows my Razer Tiamat 7.1 out the water. 1/4 the price and incredibly much better.

The adjustment console is very light and easy to configure. Simple USB plug in. Light and have a durable feel.

The vibration with the bass is a nice touch. Some may hate it, but you can turn it off. I personally very much enjoy it.

The mic isn't garbage and people hear me crystal clear.

I have not owned them very long, but from my last headsets, they are 200% less troublesome to set up & have me smiling from ear to ear.

Cons: It was a bit troublesome to install. My custom PC does not have a disc drive & it does come with a disc, so that was mostly likely the reason why. However I didn't take long to set it up. I did have some troubles setting up the microphone. Overall, not enough to deduct any eggs.
