5 out of 5 eggsRHTS-8206 is the bomb

Pros: The headset is absolutely amazing, the volume can go seriously high, the vibrations add realism to this absolutely wonderful headset, rosewill can make anything awsome, with this headset i also bought a rosewill Apollo 9100xb keyboard and that as well is amazing

Cons: The drivers were a pain to install because the software was bugged up, the wire looks like it might tangle up, that makes me worry, but that is everything besides those two things

Other Thoughts: this headset is the bang for your buck, I highly recomend this headset to all gamers or video editors because this headset is very wonderful

5 out of 5 eggsStill impressed

Pros: Sounds accurate, comfortable, sturdy, vibrates, and easy to control.

Cons: Heavy, the 5.1 isn't as impressive as the vibration, the 3 blue LED's are bright.

Other Thoughts: I bought these for 39 dollars because I play the World of Warcraft and really liked the 5.1 surround sound setup in my mom's house. I don't want to bother my apartment complex with speakers so I thought headphones would do the trick. 5.1 speakers are amazing with WoW but these headphones are 10% of the differentiation in sound field that a well placed speaker set gives.

The most impressive aspect is the vibration. Some people say it is only good for games or dance music; which it is but you can listen to E. Power Biggs on organ and hear bass notes that can't be heard with any other headphones. If Bach were alive today, he would give these headphones a 5/5!

5 out of 5 eggsSound is Amazing| Win 8 Drivers aren't in Box

Pros: Comfortable and the sound quality is amazing (greatly matches my car with DYN Audio surround sound installed). Very reasonable price.

Cons: I have Windows 8.1 on my machine and the drivers were not on the Included CD. I went online and got them for free, but did cause some initial confusion.

Other Thoughts: Great buy for the price. The in-line controls are extensive and work really well. I love it so far and would definitely recommend this headset to someone looking for high sound quality or gaming as it's spectacular thus far

3 out of 5 eggs

Pros: The sound quality is pretty good, and the bass feature is nice..

Cons: My head hurts after about 1-2 hours of use. Its so bad that it's almost migraine inducing. I have adjusted the headphones every which way I can, the only thing that seems to work is if I prop small objects inbetween my head and the headphones. I figured the low price was too good to be true

5 out of 5 eggsSuperb and Durable

Pros: The sound is impeccable and the vibration isn't just a gimmick, it really does add to the experience and makes the sound more whole; with the right EQ it massages your head!

The fact that this headset has lasted me 2 FULL YEARS is outstanding. These have seen some abuse too - drops, being thrown hard once, the cord constantly being run over on carpet by an office chair, my IR headtracking experiment, and numerous yanks from the cord getting caught under my chair wheels.

Everything still works just fine (after 2 repairs, one user error, the other the result of abuse) and outperforms plenty of expensive headsets, not counting bullsh** brands like Beats and such, though I've yet to hear Astro's headsets.

The wires likely won't short even if they fray (glitz wire)

Cons: After about a year the strain reliefs on the cables started to, ironically, destroy the sheathing and wires, beginning a rat's nest. The wire sheathing also slowly becomes more stiff over time - likely the cause of the fraying and sheath breakage - but as does all rubber, especially in Florida.
After another half-year or so, the subwoofers went out due to the wire being ripped apart at the ear-cup-entry strain relief. Luckily, none of the 4 or so frayed wires (only the sub's wires were fully broken) had shorted, because the wires were coated in a lacquer (glitz wire). I repaired this after a few months of dealing with the lack of subs and the frayed wires, simply by stripping past the nest and resoldering that wire to the board inside the ear cup.

Other Thoughts: The reason I gave it 5 instead of 4 stars, even though it wasn't immediately or directly damaged by me was the fact that it took a year and a half of moderate abuse before any one thing stopped working, and even then it was non-essential and easily reparable.

I've grown up around all kinds of professional audio equipment, so I'd like to say I've heard plenty to make a good judgement.

Since there are multiple drivers in each ear cup, each driver can focus on reproducing a certain range of frequencies; this prevents drivers from trying to play multiple sounds and cancelling its own movement, effectively muffling itself.

The trick to resoldering the glitz wire is to use a blob of solder to melt the lacquer off the wire.

1 out of 5 eggsTwice RMA'd

Pros: The sound was pretty good, and the vibration was a nice touch. It was fairly comfortable, but I've had better.

Cons: I called for an issue I was having with the microphone. It was giving off this horrible static and could not figure out the problem. I called Rosewell Customer Service and asked for tech support, but they just insisted I return it for another.

Today I received the replacement with the exact same issue. I detached the microphone and plugged it into my computer directly, and it worked fine. Back in the headset, it gave me the horrible.. horrible static.

Once again, I called Customer Service. I asked for tech support hoping they would help solve the issue, because it can't be that I am having the same issue with 2 different headsets. They simply said I could refund it, and didn't give me any technical help.

Other Thoughts: Would probably be a good headset if not for the microphone issue I had with 2 different headsets.

Rosewell Support was worthless, other than being quick to send a replacement.

2 out of 5 eggsRosewill headset cheaply made?

Pros: HIgh quality audio output
High quality mic input
Vibrates
Loud, if you want it loud
Great for music!

Cons: Cheaply made
Hurts head
Mic picks up vibration
Bulky

Other Thoughts: Purchased 04-24-14, Broken on 10-13-14
The audio is great quality and doesnt distort with vibrations. I have used it for music, gaming, and videos.

It hurts your head after about an hour of wearing them, they are a little bulky and the mic will pick up the vibrations of the headset very easily, even with sensitivity adjusted on chat programs.

The microphone spit guard (foam) tore after 1 month of standard use. WIthout the foam, they arent usable.
My mic is completely useless because the plastic clips that hold the mic swivel to the headset broke, they werent thrown or abused at all. I picked them up one day (I live alone) and it was dangling from the side of my headset.

5 out of 5 eggsRosewill 5.1 usb gaming headset

Pros: Great bang for the buck
Amount of modulation/customization within the software
They fit my head well, almost better than my old Sony MDR-XD200's that I got at wamart (I dropped the L because it's supposedly an inappropriate word on here) for $20, about ten years ago.

Cons: Don't seem to be able to adjust the delay between the speakers, even in "virtual surround" settings

Other Thoughts: I got these for my younger brother (since the headphone jack on his fairly new asus laptop decided to go out just after the manufacture warranty ended) and I'm quite impressed with the sound. Even though I'm used to my lipsh x7i's that I've been using pretty heavily over the past couple years, which these don't shine a light on in any area, I am still very impresses with how these perform before even being worn in. I would definitely recommend these to whomever is in the market for a pair of

4 out of 5 eggsGood and comfy

Pros: comfortable even for long periods
long cord
mute/volume control on the cord
adjustable microphone arm
usb

Cons: vibration has never worked

Other Thoughts: after using nearly every day for 2 years and placing it carefully on a stand after use, part of the cord has sliced so the wiring is showing. still works, but frequently hear complaints about sounding staticy or like a robot so I'll be replacing.

unsure how vibration was supposed to work, I installed drivers and setup headset, and turned vibration on (on the cord) but never had any vibration. I didn't really care about it, but I wanted to at least test it out.
