Pros: Software is nice
Nice and smooth, no issues with the sensitivity and precision of the pointer.

Cons: Does not last!
Poor alignment of the left and right buttons, left would get stuck when depressed on the mouse body.
After 1/2 year the left button would start to register phantom button clicks.
After 1 year the left button would only register a click about 70% of the time.

4 out of 5 eggsFantastic

Pros: For being my first gaming mouse it sure does the job! The mouse I had prior was just some cheap Chinese 'gaming' mouse, then I saw this mouse was on sale so I picked it up I've had it for over 5 months so far and no complaints.

Cons: The only issue I had with this mouse was it seemed kinda bulky at first, after awhile I got used to it.

5 out of 5 eggsSolid mouse

Pros: It's a wired mouse. It moves the cursor and clicks on things. It glows blue. It's not expensive. Has just enough buttons without being excessive.

Cons: Have to wait for it to arrive in the mail. Doesn't just appear when I buy it. Can only click things on the screen, cannot click on fridge to retrieve beverage. Doesn't comfort me when I've had a bad day.

Other Thoughts: Did I mention it glows blue? It has other features too. Let's face it, if you wanted a million buttons, you wouldn't even be looking at this. I own two of these. I recommend it to friends. Just buy it.

4 out of 5 eggsGreat mouse!

Pros: I've owned this mouse for almost a year now and I am very impressed. I have fairly large hands, but I have a hybrid grip while gaming ( Palm grip, and finger tip). I've never played a MOBA even though the mouse is advertised for that specific type of game. I play FPS games and the tracking is great and the mouse is lightweight!

Cons: There are some cons to this mouse. The mouse wabbles if it is pressed on one side. The mouse has built in acceleration ( Bad for FPS unless you have the option to turn it off in game, EX: CSGO.). Sometimes if your using a hard mouse pad it feels like its scratching the pad.

Other Thoughts: The 60$ price tag is a lot to pay for this mouse since they have an updated G303. You can find this for around 30-40$ than I would recommend this if you have a hybrid grip and want a light weight mouse!

1 out of 5 eggsVery cheap quality

Pros: * The logitech gaming software is good
* The lights on the mouse can be disabled

Cons: * Very cheaply made
* somewhat weird shape for people who aren't fingertip or claw grip

Other Thoughts: When i first received the mouse the scroll wheel was inverted and would scroll up and down randomly. The scroll wheel would also sometimes scroll up or down multiple times per scroll click. I RMA'd the mouse for a replacement thinking it was just a one time problem. Turns out it was a one time problem, but there were other issues with my new one. The scroll wheel on this one works fine and is not inverted anymore. However, the left click cannot be held down because it sticks and does not pop back up for about 0.5-1 seconds. That may not seem like a lot but when you need to click precisely it really is. I don't even want a replacement for this mouse because something else will probably be wrong with it.

4 out of 5 eggsGood mouse, not a good scroll wheel

Pros: - Really good mouse
- good price point
- the software is pretty flexible

Cons: - the scroll wheel is terrible

Other Thoughts: When i plugged in the mouse the scroll wheel became inverted and there is no way i can find to fix this. The scroll wheel is also super sensitive and sometimes scrolls more than once in between each click. The only thing i wish the software allowed was to map the direction of the scroll wheel just like it allows to re map every other button on it

1 out of 5 eggsPretty disappointing.

Pros: - Clicks felt nice when purchased.
- Very good sensor.
- Good mouse for people with VERY SMALL hands.

Cons: - Cable is cheap and gets in the way.
- The shape is weird and you get cramps after a while.
- Definitively not a palm grip mouse.

Other Thoughts: Everyone keeps saying Razer products are cheap and break after a while but seriously, Logitech is just the same.
I'm starting to believe that all companies are just garbage at quality control. This Logitech mouse started double clicking on me this morning and I'm so disappointed right now.

Since my Logitech mx510 (I had this mouse for 5+ years), I've never owned a mouse that wouldn't break after less than one year of constant use. I've owned Roccat, Logitech, Cooler Master, Razer, Corsair ... and YES, I take really good care of my products.

I won't ever buy a Logitech product again. They lost a consumer.
I'll just go back to the Deathadder, at least when it works, it works marvelously. Anyway I'm getting used to switching gear every 6+ months or so.

I wouldn't recommend this mouse. Logitech is just not the same company as it used to be and it shows in the quality of their product.

3 out of 5 eggsA solid offering from Logitech with an unfortunate and unforgivably odd shape...

Pros: - Quality build and components, awesome click feel/feedback
- Highly accurate sensor
- Lightweight at <90g (mouse only)
- Simple, easy to use software with customizable buttons

Cons: - Very odd and uncomfortable shape / ergonomics
- Only 6 buttons
- Blue is the only LED color available

Other Thoughts: After using a CM Storm Spawn for a couple of years, I decided I wanted something with a bit more customization in the DPI department. I am also a claw-grip style user, so I needed something that would fit the bill for that as I believe comfort in a gaming mouse is key! After doing some research and asking around on tech forums, I settled on the Logitech G302. That is, until I decided to return it (I'll explain later). To start, this mouse definitely has a quality feel and solid build construction. The metal spring loaded switches they boast on the packaging feel very nice and have an outstanding feedback. The sensor also tracks very well, and is rated as one of the best optical sensors on the market. I found the software to be very simple to use and intuitive, allowing you to individually set the DPI to whatever you want (up to five individual steps), as well as set the function of each individual button. There are only 6 programmable buttons, which may be a bit low by todays standards, but this was enough for me as I am not into MMO's or games that could benefit from macros. All buttons felt of a high quality and provided a good feedback.

With all of the positive talk, why would I return this mouse and only give it 3-stars? The shape and design of it. To start, it is pretty small and I believe it may only suit someone with smaller hands, not to mention, the shape is just overall strange. It bulges out to points in the middle, creating somewhat of a diamond shape which I found to be very unnatural feeling. I thought I would get used to it but after a week of non-stop use, it felt as foreign as when I first took it out of the box. I noticed some negative talk about the shape online but thought I would give it a try myself, as I generally don't like to exclusively go on someone elses word. Unfortunately in this case, the criticism of the shape is dead on.

Ultimately, I decided to return this mouse and continue my search for the successor to my CM Storm Spawn. Logitech really needs to do a bit more market research before they implement such an odd shape for a mouse. Given their stellar history, it was a very strange move for them. It's a shame with the G302, as Logitech has built a high quality mouse with top end components here. I can only recommend this mouse if you have smaller hands (or are E.T. or some other space alien) but even then, the shape is just something you'll have to try for yourself!

4 out of 5 eggsDecent priced, funtional mouse

Pros: Great optical sensor
Very responsive buttons
Lightweight
Good quality flexible cable
Good software

Cons: Unfortunate angular shape, that forces your hand to adapt to it. Rather than letting you grip it how you like. Better for claw and tip users than palm.
Unneeded bling lights

Other Thoughts: I had to replace the cheap LS1 mouse I was using and this is certainly much better. But I would have much preferred a smother contoured shape. You can thankfully fully disable those irritating internal lights.
