4 out of 5 eggsfast but good

Pros: the first thing I noticed was that it was hard to move the mouse without the pointer flying off the edge of the screen. I got used to it, though, and it rocks, using ~8.5 sensitivity in CS:S, I can swing around ande destroy somebody behind me with ease, while still being able to aim.

A tip for those who have aiming trouble, use your thumb as an axis and roll your thumb to move the mouse. Once you master it, it's great!

Cons: the mouse is now about a year old, and it has started to gum up a bit on the bottom, but that's to be

Other Thoughts: overall a great mouse, although fast.

2 out of 5 eggsTerrible overall

Pros: Decent grip, good precision

Cons: Bad overall in-game feeling, too sensitive

Other Thoughts: I have had to tone down my mouse sensitivity to the lowest in Counter Strike and Operation Flashpoint, and even then the mouse suffered from oversensitivity. It proved hard to aim with. It's cheaply made. Don't be fooled by other positive reviews for this product (on newegg, everything gets a 5-egg rating). Take it from me, and buy a better-grade laser mouse. This is the cheapest on the market, and believe me, it shows.

5 out of 5 eggsMy review

Comments: As with all my orders, it was processed quickly and arrived in three days. Good work, newegg!

This mouse is really fast, but I just turned down my mouse speeds and all is well. Very cheap for a laser mouse. I had a problem where it would suddenly shut off and I had to reboot. Didn't install the software because it seemed pretty useless to me.

5 out of 5 eggsVery Good Mouse But A Little Fast

Comments: This is a very good mouse. Its pretty speedy but its fine for me when its set down a little. I ordered this and a keyboard and it took a whopping six days. The keyboard came broken but the mouse was fine.

5 out of 5 eggsWhoops

Comments: Wrote a review saying I had my mouse speed all the way down and it was still a little too fast. Lol, I was adjusting the wrong slider. Much better now. :P

5 out of 5 eggsSpeed Demon

Comments: Like others are saying, this mouse is deffinately fast. I've got the speed all the way down and it's still quite a bit faster than I'm used to. Going to take some getting used to. ;)

Coming from my 6 year old Logxxxch wireless mouse and keyboard, I'm deffinately liking this one so far. One of the features I was looking for was a corded model with as small of a cord as possible. Check. The cord is so slim its like it's not even there. Plus the weight of this mouse is far far lower than that of a wireless model. I just love it. It's "feather-light."

Though I do wish the included CD had a program to configure the three small keys on the left side. They basically only function for the included program that lets you open Outlook, MS Office, and a few other utilities on the fly. It would have been nice if I could assign them different profiles for different games; each key having it's own macro for various. But not really a huge deal.

The finish is very nice. No flaws in it at all, compared to one of the previous posters.

5 out of 5 eggs

Comments: I love this mouse so far overall it’s very responsive accurate and smooth, it helps to have a mouse pad but is not needed. No problems so far, other than the fact that the 6th button is just a combo click of the other 2 side buttons. All in all I think it’s worth more than its price the performance is comparable to an mx518. Remember to keep the mouse speed down it is very fast they don’t kid around when they say 20g acceleration.

Comments: This mouse disappointed me overall.

The good: The responsiveness is excellent, as is the thin 6-foot cord. The mouse feels pretty good in the hand, and moves very easily over any smooth surface.

The bad: The buttons on the left side are tiny and aren't very conveniently placed. But the thing that really bothered me was the fact that no software is provided to configure the mouse in any real way. I like using my middle button to double click, for example, but Optorite provides no way to do that. Nor can you configure the other buttons.

If you want more configurability, look at the Loxxxxch MX1000 instead.

5 out of 5 eggsgr8

Comments: i got this mouse today and it blew me away... took me around 20 mins to get used to the 1600dpi... performance in bf2 is great, planes are more responsive, tho still a little too sensitive for me.. gotta get used to that soon.. this mouse is so sensative that it picked up my fan (7ft away?) movements when i picked it up... two complaints tho, if u have a weird transparent mouse pad with uneven things on the bottom it will pick that up and distort movement. Secondly, the factory finish left some sort of stain on the mouse which i cant really seem to remove too easily.. great mouse especially for the price
