4 out of 5 eggsGreat gaming mouse for budget gamer

Pros: +Ultra responsive in 1000hz polling mode
+DPI switching works
+Works well for thumb/ring-finger or thumb/pinkie grip
+Price!! (12.99 USD at this time)

Cons: -Mouse hangs up during fast movement
-This makes 90+ degree snap shots impossible in competitive FPS titles like CS:GO. This can also interfere with other mouse-intensive games like Starcraft 2, depending on your skill level and acceleration patterns.

Other Thoughts: *Excluding the double-click button and DPI switch, this is a 5 button mouse
*Red LEDs are subtle, but cannot be turned off to my knowledge
*Might feel small at first if you are used to larger mice like the Deathadder

Having gone through 3 full-price Deathadders in the course of 5 years, I decided to experiment with cheaper gaming mice. This one works fine for many games that do not require very fast mouse movement as well as regular computer use. -1 egg for being unable to handle near-instant acceleration, but you get what you pay for. I will likely buy another Deathadder and use this for back-up, as Razer mice are known to fail after a year of heavy use.

5 out of 5 eggsPretty darn good.

Pros: Cheap
Feels comfortable in hand
4 DPI settings (800,1200,1600,2000)
Got here in 2 days.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: Bought this as a replacement after my main gaming mouse started to die on me, very suitable as a replacement while i'm looking for a high end mouse that fits all my needs.

4 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Smooth mouse good precision. Some wild features on it normal mouse feature then it has a media mode that can be activated by holding the DPI switch for 5 secs (media mode is indicated by a blue LED under the mouse wheel.) pretty handy if you don't have a keyboard with media controls. Has a FPS feature that increases the USB report rate from 500Hx to 1000Hz. Seems much smoother at default (500Hz) Nice overall weight not to heavy not to light just right. 4x DPI settings 800/1200/1600/2000 Sensitive mouse clicks but smooth at the same time mouse wheel very smooth good notches to it. The 2x click button works as intended It's well worth $13 I'm comparing to the gigabyte M6800 & to be honest so far it blows that thing away. As for lifetime I don't know yet had the gigabyte M6800 a year and it still hasn't shorted out yet.

Cons: Not many maybe position of the 2x click button. I feel the 2x click button hard to reach should have lengthened the mouse by 1/2 an inch put the 2x click button lil more near top edge closer to where one's finger tip would be. Also there is no light indication of what dpi setting you are currently in you just gotta remember 4 settings and the feel of each setting. Also I feel the media LED needs to be more visible say maybe in the case of the mouse rather than hidden under the mouse wheel. Because from an anle looking down u can't see the Media mode blue light at all.

Other Thoughts: my hands aren't all that large but mouse tad smaller than the Gigabyte M6800 was. It's not a problem or a con really it still has a good feel to it I'd give this mouse 5 if I knew the life time of it. if it can make 1 year without forming a short I'd definetly give it a 5.

2 out of 5 eggsJittery

Pros: Cheap

Cons: After owning it a few months, it's started moving my mouse around when the mouse is stationary. About twice a second the mouse moves by about 1 pixel in some random direction when my mouse is just sitting there. Sounds minor, but it makes it impossible to hover over anything that requires a stationary mouse pointer.

Also the other buttons are somewhat useless. The easiest to hit 3rd button just double clicks, so you can't map that to something else in-game. The ones labeled forward/back are ok. The one under the scroll wheel also can't be mapped. So it's not really a 6 button mouse, maybe 4.

Other Thoughts: It's only $13 so I guess you get what you paid for. I still use it for gaming but I had to replace it w/ something else for every day use. I would not buy again.

5 out of 5 eggsnot bad

Pros: nice mouse, looks cool. and does what it needs to do. feels a little cheap, but fits fine for my standards. I would go with a more expensive model if you have the cash

Cons: none

Other Thoughts: it's alright, worth it if you're looking to save some cash

4 out of 5 eggsNot bad, but not perfect

Pros: 1. It looks freaking cool. Very angular, shiny, and the text on the mouse has an awesome font.

2. It feels well made. It's not too light or too heavy and you can palm it without a great deal of difficulty (I have average hands).

3. Love all the buttons. I personally don't mind the text.

4. 500, 1000, 1500, 2000 DPI options. Not bad for a low end gaming mouse.

5. I love the double click button.

Cons: 1. The red lights being visible is kind of annoying (personal quirk, I don't like red so no eggs subtracted).

2. The scroll wheel is a little wobbly, makes it feel cheap (since it is, in fact, cheap, no eggs removed).

3. It can be hard to keep a hold of. the contour of the phone makes it super comfortable to rest your hand on, but if you get to the mouse pad and have to pick up the mouse to move it back to center, it can be difficult to keep a hold of it without clicking any buttons (-1 egg).

Other Thoughts: Design flaw aside, this mouse is fantastic. I don't know if I'd recommend it for all games, but for many it'll work just fine. Also, for common tasks like video or image editing (or anything else where switching DPI can be advantageous), this is also a great wired solution if you don't want wireless.

Also, it looks cool. Not the overall best, but definitely one of the better showings in gaming mice at this price range.

4 out of 5 eggsAwesome

Pros: Great response time for gaming.

Cons: the driver for the mouse is a little querky. has a mind of its own. That is why I had to take an egg.

Other Thoughts: I would recommend this mouse to anyone trying to put together a budget system for gaming.
