Pros: First around the ear headset that tritton has ever done, and they did this one right! Amazing sound quality. Tested this on Counter-strike source, left for dead demo, call of duty 4, and others. Everything you need to plug this into seemingly any device is here! Great for xbox 360, or ps3 if they are stationed. (see below for reason why) Most comfortable headset I have ever had. This headset seems very sturdy and not cheap by any means. The mic itself is even made out of high quality metal and plastic so I don't see this breaking easily.
I have also tested the dolby digital which also sounds amazing on the computer (Although it needs 2 ac adapts see below)
Cons: Worst thing about this is the same with all of the other surround sound headsets out there: The bass leaves much to be desired. But!! This is because of the sound settings/abilities of the games we play along with the music we get/listen to. Getting a new creative sound card: This will help A LOT!
Heavy for a headset, but that is to be expected of 4 speakers in each ear.
Now for the xbox360 and Ps3 comment. I say stationary, because of 2 things: first it's corded, which eliminates the purpose of wireless controllers. (but with 12.5 feet of cord it's hard to get that far away from your 360 or ps3 and still have the controller working. Also the fact that you have to plug in ac adapter to use this, which will be a hassle for those people who move their 360's and ps3 around.
Last thing is the all-in-one box which handles everything from usb to dolby. This needs a second ac adapter which puts a strain on my power strip :(

Pros: True 5.1 Dolby Digital Surround Sound. Excellent sound quality, best in a set of headphones so far. Extremely comfortable even when worn for extended periods. Very unique design. Extra long chord doesn't tether you to the computer. Toslink digital input works perfect with my motherboard. Very decent bass response for headphones. Removable microphone. Microphone volume/mute controls included on the in-line volume adjust. Lightweight for a headset with so much in it. They fit around my huge head with no problem. Fairly simple plug and play with windows vista, but the cords may be a bit of a hassle for some.
I only used these for a week, but I used them for hours at a time playing Left 4 Dead, Halo 3, and watching DVD's. I have to say, that I am very impressed.
Cons: The mic doesn't adjust very much. In-line volume adjust gets fairly warm sometimes, bit unnerving. Xbox 360 mic adapter has a LOT of static in the speakers when attached for some reason. Removable mic feels flimsy and fragile Seperate adjustments for game audio and voice with the Xbox it a bit annoying. LOTS OF CORDS 2 AC adapters!!! Does not come with carrying pouch like it said before.
Other Thoughts: I purchased the Tritton AXPro gaming headphones to give myself a better experience when playing FPS shooters on my PC, and my Xbox 360. I currently have fairly low end, cheap Phillips stereo speakers w/ subwoofer as computer speakers, and I have my Xbox connected to my computer monitor. The speakers were not cutting it in terms of sound quality.
I recently moved, and I used to have surround sound, but I live in a small dorm room now. So having large speakers would be a bit impractical.
These headphones are a great idea for people who love to have the upper hand in games by using 5.1 surround sound, yet they don't have the room, or privacy to use theater surround sound speakers.
If you are a gamer on the market for a nice set of gaming headphones, look no further.

Pros: The build quality of the headset itself is fantastic. It is solid and comfortable. I actually smiled when I put them on because they were so comfortable. They fit very well.
The speakers will blow your mind. I am still dialing them in for Modern Warfare 2, but right out of the box I had at least 15 bonus kills in one night on guys that were sneaking up behind me or gave themselves away by walking! That is called sound-whoring!
The mic is a flexible boom (which I believe is a recent improvement) and there is only one power brick (another recent improvement.
The speaker volume is color coded, which helps to visually see where your sound is emphasized. The chat voice control is nice too. You can mute you mic and you can mute all sound (in the headset) if your wife is trying to ask you something; you can't mute her though.
Once out of the box it literally took me 5 minutes to plug in and setup. Very easy.
The hard part is getting the sounds completely dialed in.
Cons: The one con that I noticed was that I cannot hear my own voice in the chat. I had to private chat with my brother to ask him if he could hear me ok. The other way is to send yourself a voice message and listen to it.
The fidelity of the mic is great, but I wish I could get some feedback so that I am not yelling into my mic to make sure that I am heard. That wasn't really an issue though once I discovered that my mic was working and clear.
Other Thoughts: I ALWAYS do my homework before I purchase anything. I don't want to regret a purchase and buy the best that I can. I looked at Turtle Beach x41 and Astro A40. I could not justify the bump in price on them. Wireless x41's would be nice, but there are trade-offs. A40's are just hype and the fanboys will always say there are best.
You will not be disappointed, especially with the price from Newegg. I might have bought the last set though because they are sold out now.
Buy them, take the time to dial them in and enjoy! It's like being right in the middle of the battle. These things get SO loud but remain clear. Just be careful not to blow out your eardrums! You will hear people long before they even see you. You really earn a distinct advantage with these babies.

Pros: Setup looks daunting but the directions are clear and setup was a breeze.
Cons: none so far
Other Thoughts: To the person who said they had the buzzing from the mic, the solution is to turn down your mic level in the console settings. I dropped mine from 3 to 1 and no more buzz.. it's just a super sensitive mic.

Pros: Great sound quality from earphones fairly comfortable to wear for long periods of 2 plus hours.
Cons: Well I had pretty high expectations considering the cost of these. Me and a co-worker bought the ax pro's the same day but from diff. web sites. I play online and when I logged in to try em out, everyone in my party chat said there was a loud buzzing coming from my mic. I reset / reinstalled everything to try and fix problem but that didnt work.
I checked with my co-worker to see how his set was doing and he had the same problem :(..I then found a friend online who also had the ax pro's and asked if he had any experience with our problem, he hooked his headset up to live and guess what..he has the buzzing sound too!! wow :( I did find a short term fix..I plugged in my charge and play kit to my controller and it was like it completed a cycle or something as the buzzing went away. I was gonna live with it like that but i tried going online last night and the buzzing came on again even though i had the charge and play kit plugged in, and now the mic wasnt working
Other Thoughts: For almost the price of a new system I expected these headsets to perform better and knowing it wasnt just me who had a bad pair and hearing of other brands not working well or breaking easily I think I will wait untill they come out with a more reliable product and maybey just get the simple TB x1's for 60 bucks. same price as a wirless 360 headset but works better and not as much risk involved.
