3M EM550GPL Black USB Wireless Optical Ergonomic Mouse - Large

Pros: Comfortable

Cons: Second unit I received directly from 3M and it was not working. The left click on the mouse was sticking badly and was just as glitchy as the first unit.

Other Thoughts: STAY AWAY!!!!!!!!

3M used to make great products but their products are now the same old CHEAP CHINESE GARBAGE!!!!!!!

3M customer service has been great and offered replacements, but, I am tired of dealing with faulty products. I will be sent another new replacement for the 3rd time and it will quickly be FOR SALE.

Pros: I like the design and it makes it MUCH nicer to hold the mouse all day. Helps decrease any discomfort and works different muscles.

Cons: VERY GLITCHY. It seems like the receiver and mouse loose contact for short periods. I have tried updates and everything to no avail. Pretty sure I will be returning this SOON.

Other Thoughts: Nice concept but POOR implementation. All I want it to do is WORK, but I do not know what else to try, therefore I say:

STAY AWAY!!!!!!!!!!!!

Pros: Much more comfortable than standard mouse designs. Virtually eliminates hand strain. Rubberized surface feels good and does not collect too much dirt. Includes 3 mouse buttons. Wireless removes annoying cables.

Cons: My hand is 3.5" across the palm and the Large size is way too big for me. The wireless signal is not that strong, so it helps to be near the receiver. The batteries add weight.

Other Thoughts: Unless your palm is significantly wider than 3.5" I recommend the Small size. The 550 has a better surface and optical sensor than the 500, but the batteries need to replaced from time to time.

Pros: I like the perdendicular handle so that I don't hit the bottom of my wrist on the desk and irritate the carpel tunnel. This is a real big giant plus. I wish that more mouses were like this.

Cons: There is a big giant huge button going down the handle on the side of the mouse for scrolling. This button makes it very hard to grip this mouse. I frequently accidently push this button and then it messes up the screen. I can not grip the mouse right where I want to. I have to arch my fingers, hand, and arm into a painful position because the big giant button is always in the way.

Other Thoughts: I would be more than happy to recommend this mouse if they were to remove the big giant huge button all together that always gets in the way that you really don't need for anything anyway. Until then this mouse is a no go. Look for something else.

Pros: After having carpal tunnel surgery I started using this mouse and I would not go back to the old style. I work on the computer all day and my wrist does not hurt like it did with the other mouse. I highly reccomend this mouse if you are showing signs of carpal tunnel.

Cons: It takes some getting used to as you are moving your amr and not just flexing your wrist. After a little use it becomes natural to use.

Pros: Great hand and arm position

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: I have a hard time using a conventional mouse, due to some physical limitations. This a great product for me to use. My arm, hand and shoulder no longer bother me using this mouse.
