3 out of 5 eggsworks

Pros: small

Cons: shuts off intermittently - I'm sure to save battery power although sometimes when I'm using it and sometimes you need to cycle the power to get it to reconnect.

feels cheap

Other Thoughts: This thing works and is a good value, I suppose. Don't get it for gaming or something important. For general use it's fine. I use it for my laptop. I don't like to use the touch pad if I have to be on there for an extended time.

3 out of 5 eggsNot the worst

Pros: It works, it has a lot of range. Small and comfortable. I got it on sale, for less than a third of the price of a name-brand, cordless optical 3 button mouse.

Cons: No drivers, no info, no button remapping software. These problems are all easily overcome (see Other thoughts). No 'tilt wheel' on the scroll wheel, but after reading all the comments (before purchase), I knew it wasn't going to be. It's a 5 button mouse, neither 6, nor 8 (would've been 7 if it really had a 'tilt wheel'). The 6th button is the DPI / resolution switch, which is not an OS/program interactive button. DPI switch doesn't seem to make any difference compared to other multi-DPI mice I use. Requires 2 AAA batteries (not included) instead of 1 (as listed). Battery requirement not a 'Con' per se, but be aware that you'll want to already have some when it arrives.

The [only] real problem is that it goes to sleep way to fast, like a minute or less, and requires a button-click to wake up. No way to change this (that I've found yet). Mine also seems to hang randomly and temporarily (10-15 seconds), but I haven't gotten a mouse to act 'perfect' yet in Ubuntu 14.04. Whether it's actually asleep or just hanging, a button-click always wakes it up. If it was my only computer / mouse in operation, perhaps I'd get used to it in time. The sleep function is 'different' and slightly annoying more than an actual deal-breaker.

Other Thoughts: Standard mouse drivers work. 3rd party mouse software (freely available online) works as a button re-mapper (Windows, haven't found one that works right for Linux yet). Although I have a name-brand $30 (retail) 3 button mouse, I still choose to use this cheap-o mouse instead for the extra buttons, so it isn't all bad. It's not the worst mouse I've ever owned, even if it was the cheapest (on sale price).

4 out of 5 eggsWorks

Pros: Responsive, has side buttons, has a dpi switch, fits well in my hand

Cons: No tilt wheel, small power switch (not a problem, it hibernates without usage anyway), wakes up by clicking the mouse rather than moving, feels a bit cheap but that was expected.

Other Thoughts: I picked this up because the computer that's using it has an already cluttered work area. Wires were not welcome. This mouse has been working well, though like other reviewers have pointed out, it doesn't actually have wheel tilt which is a bummer. That and you have to wake by clicking the mouse, which may cause issues if your mouse just happens to have landed somewhere you would rather it not.

1 out of 5 eggsnot good

Pros: none that I that could think of.

Cons: Junk, the mouse goes to sleep after 5 seconds of non use. have to click the mouse to wake back up, doesn't always wake up on first click sometimes have to turn mouse off and on again. Then if your cursor was over a link or a tab you click to wake the mouse back up open links or tabs that you didn't need. materials feel very cheap with rough unfinished edges.

4 out of 5 eggsmost worked well

Pros: nice 6 button capabilities; very useful for browsing back and forth in Internet and switching between windows in Outlook

Cons: I ordered 11 because I was familiar with the design but only 9 worked as they should have. But the return costs were not worth returning so I just threw away.

Also, the back and forth buttons are not as intuitive as I would have expected. the forward button (closest to the front) goes forward in browsing pages and the back button goes back,

Other Thoughts: I tried one mouse with 6 buttons that felt fantastic because it was scalloped inwards where the thumb rests and it was very natural to raise the thumb up to select the forward and back buttons. (Others that I tested it with also had my same comments-without my first mentioning it.) Bit I cannot find it at a desirable price.

4 out of 5 eggsCan't lose for the price

Pros: -Lightweight
-Cheapest 5 button, wireless mouse I could find
-Looks pretty nice (except the bottom, but w/e)
- Reasonably solid construction
-I like the scroll wheel
-Wireless is good to 20+ ft

Cons: -Item specs don't match (uses 2 AAA batteries, NOT a tilt wheel. This is where it lost the star)
- Doesn't have the heft I personally like. (Glad it uses 2 AAA)
-Wakes on click, not movement
-No configuration software (I was planning on remapping the DPI button)
-Feels a little "plastic-y" in your hand, not bad though
-Tiny on/off switch
-Side buttons don't have a very "satisfying" click
Be nice if the thumb and finger rest were rubberized (comfortable for plastic though"

Other Thoughts: I bought this to use as a portable CAD mouse. I much prefer 5 buttons (side buttons go to ctrl and shortcut menu). I think it will suit my purposes fine. The scroll wheel has a little "squish" to it, which is odd at first, but actually feels a little more natural than my Logitech 510. Would recommend to others

4 out of 5 eggsGood Deal

Pros: Small, has many buttons and has an on/off switch.

Cons: The USB dongle doesn't store as well as other devices - it can fall out on its own without much effort.

Other Thoughts: Good price with many features, would recommend it to others.
