5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: These things are LOUD! Great sound, even at very high volumes. Best headphones I have ever used, it kills my old $20 Sony headphones. I have not *yet* experienced the problem with them breaking, and it has been around 4 months since my purchase. Flawless directional audio for stereo headphones Great product!

Cons: Not actually true 5.1 audio, it does a good job of emulating it, but it's not actually 5.1.

Drivers on the cd do not work in Vista, and I was unable to find compatible version on their website.

Other Thoughts: Overall, this product deserves 5 eggs.

2 out of 5 eggsVERY Fragile headphones

Pros: Sound quality is good. True circumaural headphones which fit fairly comfortably.

Cons: Extremely flimsy craftsmanship. Major components are held together by tiny plastic connectors. Dropped several times from a short distance will cause them to literally fall into pieces. I treat my equipment very carefully but a product which can't sustain a couple drops off a desk is sub par.

Other Thoughts: If they made a version of these that use aluminum casing and steel screws rather than cheap plastic they would be a solid product. But they aren't and this isn't. Stay away guys. :(

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: This headset is amazing. The sound quality is an A+. The mic is soo clear. My friends all own this headset as well, when we use Ventrillio it sounds like we're standing next to each other.

Cons: Lot's of wires, but not really a con if you know how to organize well.

Other Thoughts: Get this if you play a lot of Online shooters.

4 out of 5 eggsExceptional, but delicate

Pros: Insanely good sound quality. Everything sounds crystal clear whether it be gaming or music. Maybe it sounds too good, because I think for the 1+ year that I've owned them I've slowly been losing my hearing. The enormous pads feel very comfortable and are never irritating. The microphone is very clear and small and can be placed anywhere on your desk where it won't get in the way.

Cons: These headphones are very flimsy. I've been VERY careful with mine and I luckily haven't had any problems with pieces falling apart or flimsiness like most people do have with these. You have to treat these headphones with a large amount of care or you'll go through them very fast.

After about a year of owning these the right ear piece started getting quieter and quieter. Then it started shorting out. Now both ears short in and out and they're practically unusable now.

Other Thoughts: Um, the steelsound drivers are hard to find but very useful.

They're definitely a good buy, just be careful with them. They're very delicate.

3 out of 5 eggseh...

Pros: great gaming audio, the only reason I got this headset was so I can hear hardcore on counter strike: source and well it did that perfectly.

Cons: after a month they just broke...made of junk plastic. I only used them for one game and they still broke after a month...that is sad, so I'm going to RMA...eventually get another brand with some durability.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat headset

Pros: This is a great headset! I love the included USB adapter "card". Currently I just use the standard headset jack on the front of my PC, but the USB adapter ensures flexibility for me in the future.

Cons: None

1 out of 5 eggsWas expecting greatness

Pros: Lightweight, EXTREMELY comfortable, long cords.

Cons: After 1/2 day, I heard screeching, and crunching and after that a terrible hissing noise developed, 24/7, completely ruins the headphones. USB sound card never worked, after extensive attemps, Mic worked, but pretty much sucked. Cords cause clutter.

Other Thoughts: Was expecting amazing headphones, and they were for a few hours until they broke. Lots of great reviews so hopefully you will get luckier then me.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Good sound, nifty mini-soundcard, velvet cloth is VERY comfortable - my favorite material, black glossy looks really nice.
Mic is decent, nothing too extravagant - it does look cool, though. It can be separated and used on desk - or on your monitor with the provided clip-on bracket kit.
Comes with more accessories than you can shake your tail at.
They automatically adjust to your head. I hated dealing with my previous Sony's adjustment, where you have to pull out or push in each side and fiddle. You find a perfect fit then someone uses them or you take them off and it grinds against your head reseting whatever setting you had.

Cons: Lots of cables - but everything can be separated. I'm only using the extension cable.
Bass not as punchy as some other headphones but it's good enough for me. I have in-ear buds with a very hard bass and it makes my head and ears hurt - these are very good in the comfort and

Other Thoughts: I haven't tried the mini sound card. I'm pairing these with an X-Fi XG card. Sound is very nice and crisp for the price. I'm a mid-level audiophile and these sound very good for me.
These are definitely worth the buy - comfort is the best I've ever experienced with headphones, even when using them for hours.
