Manufacturer Limited Warranty period (parts): 1 year
Manufacturer Limited Warranty period (labor): 0 day
Tech Level: average - Ownership: 1 month to 1 year
Pros: Amazing feel for my my hands (large / right-handed). Aesthetically impressive.
Cons: As the title says, it lasted 6 months before it failed. This was a big disappointment for me because it was better than my previous favorite, the IntelliMouse Explorer 3. It simply stopped powering on.
Other Thoughts: On the fence about possibly buying this again and holding their customer support accountable for failure. It's that comfortable. If you're the kind of person who would not tolerate failure or dealing with customer service, this is not the mouse for you - otherwise, if you're willing to deal with it, it's an extremely comfortable and accurate mouse.

A real gaming mouse
Reviewed By: Raven on 1/19/2010
Tech Level: high - Ownership: 1 week to 1 month
This user purchased this item from Newegg
Pros: This is the best mouse I have ever used. Giant teflon feet, amazingly short liftoff distance, seamless transitions between sensitivity levels...it's awesome. The other mice I have used are in the little leagues compared to this bad boy.
Cons: You only get two saved sensitivity levels. It is easy to switch between them, and it only takes 30 seconds to reprogram them entirely, but you can only switch between the two on the fly. Somewhat limiting.
Other Thoughts: Unlike other "gaming" mice I have used, this one delivers. Performance is top notch, and no unnecessary frills have been added in an attempt to sell it. Switching between the two saved sensitivities is literally seamless: no lag whatsoever. The only drawback is that those are the only two you can have saved at the same time. Then again, you can reprogram them any time you want directly from the mouse (no need to alt+tab or touch driver software), which offsets the limited number of programming options. And, a nice touch is that you can choose any sensitivity between 1..3200, not just every hundred or thousand CPI, unlike some other "gaming" mouse drivers.

Great mouse, but not durable
Reviewed By: gustep on 1/19/2010
Tech Level: high - Ownership: more than 1 year
Pros: I've had this mouse for a long time and really liked its accuracy and infinitely variably hardware DPI (press a special button, adjust with scroll wheel, look at built-in LCD - no driver required). Why can't all mice have this feature?
Cons: Occasionally, it won't work after a shutdown or standby condition. The fix is to unplug it and re-plug it, but this gets kind of annoying after a while. This only started happening after half a year of use or so, so maybe it's a cabling issue?
Other Thoughts: Never had any problems while it's running, though.
