Features

SteelSeries Headset

Powerful Beauty

The SteelSeries Siberia v2 headset is the successor to SteelSeries Siberia Full-size headset, which revolutionized several features in the headset industry. The Siberia v2 features a beautiful design combined with functionality and performance, all in one headset.

Noise Reduction

The earcups feature a noise reducing foam, which helps you to focus on the important audio or voice communication, and not being disturbed or interrupted by outside noise.

SteelSeries Headset

Quality Driver Units

It's one thing to have a beautiful exterior, but it's what's inside that that makes these one of the best quality headsets on the market. A 50mm driver unit with crystal clear sound in high, low, and mid-range ensures quality output for multiple uses.

Retractable Microphone

The Siberia v2 features a retractable microphone that can be hidden in the left earcup, which means you can use it when you need it, but don't have to flash it in public if you don't want to.

SteelSeries Headset

Keeping It Real, or Rather, Vacuum Metalized

Don't try to melt down the gold and sell it. The gold rings on the SteelSeries Siberia v2 Black & Gold Edition headsets are created by using a process called vacuum metallization which helps to achieve the gold, shiny-like finish of the rings seen on both the right and left earcup. SteelSeries is one of the first company's in the gaming industry to use this process in peripheral color creation. Check out the black & gold edition in the photo gallery below!

SteelSeries Headset

Volume Control

The integrated volume controller on the cord offers an option to handle sound volume manually. This feature is especially useful when you are using your Siberia v2 with other devices and don't have swift access to setting volume levels in your software.

1 out of 5 eggsbecareful when purchasing

Pros: none

Cons: I just got mine in... and i could tell it was opened and used... just becareful. i just got mine in and the cords are in terrible condition there was some scuff marks on the headsets with finger prints. Was surprised with the condition i got it in, that i just had to check back with the post to be sure i didnt purchase a opened box or a refurbished... I would not recommend any steel series headsets but i would recommend their other gaming peripherals .

5 out of 5 eggsGreat headphones

Pros: Great sound, perfectly fits my large head. I also love how the headset itself doesn't have long cables, but has a long extension.

Cons: I ran over wire with my vacuum and the wire casing split open a little bit. The wires were fine though. Though that's no one's fault but mine, I'm just glad it didn't ruin it.

1 out of 5 eggs3 of the four broke within 6 months

Pros: Comfort, fit, sound, design

Cons: These things fail I purchased two for my boys for Christmas. Both failed within five months. The wires bringing the sound to the headset fail. No apparent stress. Both were purchased with extended warranty.

3 out of 5 eggsok but broke after 1 year

Pros: good quality sound
comfortable to wear for long periods of time

Cons: bulky
head strap always got in the way when travleing

Other Thoughts: exactly on day 365 both straps holding the head suspension strap snapped off kind of bummed but it still fits my head with out the suspension strap and now it's more comfortable to wear around my neck.

4 out of 5 eggsNice Headset

Pros: It was a Comfortable fit even with a big head. It was Lightweight so I didn't have any pains wearing them even after several hours of gaming. I loved the MIC being retractable also so I could put it away when I would watch movies.

Cons: After a year and a half of owning them the MIC stopped working unless I retracted it almost all the way back into the headset but then it would be unusable because of massive fuzz. This caused me to have them replaced, but up until that time they worked great and if I didn't use the MIC every day I could have kept using these just fine. The other issue is the Bass. Its kinda low so when your listening you do feel the need for more.

Other Thoughts: Because of all the good things while wearing these its given me a standard for what I should look for when I get my next headset. Thanks SteelSeries.

1 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Comfortable.
Audio is ok.

Cons: Awful Mic Quality, despite looking at many YouTube videos before purchasing the Mic the quality just does not add up, and I don't mean by a little, I mean the mic has killer static, it's very low sounding, just terraible quality in general. Very disipointed. My old $10 mic is 10x better.

2 out of 5 eggsLooks great, Bad build quality

Pros: + Looks amazing
+ Sounds great when working properly

Cons: - They're extremely fragile. I'd consider myself pretty gentle when it comes to my headsets and I've had two pairs of these break on me after a very short time. Both times they broke was because of the metal wires holding the head

- The mic isn't the greatest quality. Becareful when pulling it out of the headset.

- The sound sometimes cuts out on one side of the headphones when adjusting the sound via the control.

Other Thoughts: I've been a user of the Siberias for a very long time. Back when Icemat was its own company. These headphones have always had problems and steelseries has yet to address them.

I most likely won't be using any of the new siberia products til steelseries starts fixing some of the build problems.

oh well atleast I'm finally out of this abusive relationship! :P

4 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Decent sound, comfortable, and fairly durable. Had this pair for about a year and a half, and only recently the texture on the ear pads has been peeling off. A lot of my previous headphones usually break along the plastic headband some time after 6 months, but this has been holding up pretty well.

Cons: These are just minor nitpicks... The cord is a bit short, but it comes with an extension cord. However, this extension cord tends to get tangled up in itself, and I have to unplug and unwind it every so often.
