5 out of 5 eggsSteel Series Siberia v2

Pros: audio quality, leather and padding is nice quality, loud enough to blow your ear drums, blue light is cool, retractable mic so much better than the old clip on one

Cons: as fragile and flimsy as my original icemats, they get a little warm after extended use

Other Thoughts: only USB no more 3.5 jacks

Mic works really well and is adjustable
Really nice design and blue LED
Very comfortable for long hours of use.

Other Thoughts: Sold my Logitech G15 headset for this one and i've got to say it was most definitely worth it.

5 out of 5 eggsCrisp Sound

Pros: Light, great sound. Lights on the side are bright.

Cons: Not the most sturdy build when compared to other headsets. Not really a con.

3 out of 5 eggsNot quite what I was expecting from Steelseries

Pros: Sound quality is good, as expected
Comes with short cord + usb extending cable
Customizable lighting effects (only blue color)
Retractable Mic

Cons: - When I turn the sound down (to effectively mute sound from PC) with the on-cord control wheel, it makes a humming noise.
- When I mute the microphone using the on-cord control switch, people complain that they hear a buzzing noise until I unmute, this happens across multiple PCs and multiple VOIP clients.
- When on VOIP I get complaints that there is a beeping sound randomly when talking, also occurs on multiple computers on multiple VOIP clients.

Other Thoughts: For a $100+ headset, from Steelseries, a "Professional gaming" brand I do not expect these kinds of cons, that do not happen on $20 headsets I've used in the past.

2 out of 5 eggsDecent, but not for me.

Pros: It looks nice, feels nice and built pretty sturdy. It's incredibly stylish and 100% perfect for representing SteelSeries.

Sound is decent, gets loud just like any 50mm driver should do but isn't fantastic.

Cons: However... It's not for people who have big heads. It doesn't fit very well, and even if it does, it's incredibly tight around the ears.
Glasses-wearing gamers will have a hard time also.
It gets warm eventually due to its leather earcups, but that's not that much of a big deal.

SteelSeries engine is completely horrible, their drivers are just completely horrible. Equalizers work, but there's chances that the engine won't even pop up in time for you to switch Profiles.

These also don't have 7.1 surround sound, and they don't support surround sound. Their driver capacity only goes to support 24 bit audio, when even headsets such as the Plantronics GamesCom 780 supports even higher and is capable of producing much clearer, much deeper and much more immerse sound.

Microphone isn't outstanding. The way it rolls back is neat, but after a while doesn't go flush with the headset and peeks out like a tiny turtle head.
Many people complained about a tiny hiss this microphone produced and that's not okay.

Other Thoughts: If you want to spend this much money on a headset, I wouldn't go for this. I would probably want to spend the money on buying 2 Plantronics GamesCom even with their major design flaw so I have a spare if one's headband

2 out of 5 eggsSiberia v2

Pros: Sound quality
Comfort

Cons: Horrid mic quality
Cannot run the .exe file for the driver, "Please connect the USB PnP device" error. The aforementioned device is connected. This problem exists on 2 different computers with 2 different headsets.
Tech support forum thread for the above issue has existed for a long time, with multiple bumps, and no response has been made.

Other Thoughts: If you get it, I hope you get lucky.
The ONLY reason it didn't get 1 star from me is the sound quality.

5 out of 5 eggsamazing

Pros: i play cs go, cod, and b4 and i can hear everyone. ill pick up sounds on dust2 from b plat and they are going cat. the range is fantastic and the retractable mic is clear and out of the way. I never pull it out and ive never had anyone complain about my voice

Cons: kinda a con but not really. the cable is only 3ft. it does come with an extension but for me personally its to short with just the headset cable and about 1 1/2 ft to long with thte extension =(

4 out of 5 eggsGood, comfortable headset

Pros: Pretty comfortable faux leather

Retractable microphone.

Fairly good sound quality

Cons: The sound is quite boomy, lots of low mids/bass.

It makes the sound thicker, and decreases clarity.

Other Thoughts: Fairly good headset. I particularly like that it is just really comfortable to wear for a long period of time.

3 out of 5 eggsLove/Hate Relationship

Pros: This headset is really beautiful. It looks nice, sits on the head nice, and the LED's are awesome.
The sound quality is great, too. I hear pin drops in my games, and even music is enjoyable for long periods of times. (From someone who gets bad headaches from headsets often..) The Mic is awesome, my cat loves to chew, so having it stored is great for when I don't need it.

Other pros.. for its price point, I'm happy.

Cons: Unfortunately, the USB connector broke. It connects but the metal part that holds the ports together slipped off. I tried to fix it but glue doesn't help. Tape looks stupid.
This is handling with care, not throwing the headset or snapping the USB from the port with the short cord.

Other Thoughts: Overall a good headset but I just wish it was made better. I love it's aesthetics, it looks awesome on my stream and when Im sitting in a dark room and I see the pulsing LED's.

5 out of 5 eggsBeautiful

Pros: Beautiful Headset. Simply Beautiful. Very comfortable. The LED's on the side are actually pretty bright, for the people that were wondering...like myself before purchase. The sound quality was also a lot better then i thought, for gaming and just music. Has nice mids and not an over whelming bass... It does have bass tho. Just not insane bass. Thats a pro for me because i enjoy hearing my mids more then bass on most songs.

Cons: So this might just be me but the driver sucks. I wanted to DL the driver so i could make the slow pulse leds just a solid steady led. The driver seemed to interfere with my razer keyboard and mouse...I didnt care that much tho. Wasnt enough to take away an egg for me.

Other Thoughts: To Steel Series:

Why do you guys always make the cord so short and give us extension cables!! Its a nicer look if the headset just plugged into my Thermaltake Lvl10 GT. I demand to be at you're next meeting based upon the length of cords!!
