Born for professional eSports and infused with the most sophisticated technologies, the SteelSeries Sensei Pro MLG Edition Mouse is the choice of performance and features that leads you from one victory to another. The most award-winning gaming mouse in history, the SteelSeries Sensei Pro MLG Edition is armed to the teeth with devastating armaments like 32 bit arm processor, a more powerful laser sensor, and tournament-grade button switches.

On-board memory means that no matter what championship you travel to, your profiles are loaded directly onto your mouse and ready to use. Built-in LCD display helps you breeze through setting and allows you to personalize your mouse with your own bitmaps. You can also program the wheel, CPI indicator, and MLG logo to light up in different color, making your Sensei mouse more unique. The black gun metal casing provides a great look and a non-slip grip. The illuminated MLG logo lets the world know that you don’t just compete, but you support eSports, Major League Gaming, and the competitive spirit.

  • newegg 32 BIT ARM PROCESSOR The processor in SteelSeries Sensei MLG Edition is a 32 bit ARM processor and it is as fast as the original Pentium 75 MHz processor released by Intel in 1994. That is fast, incredibly fast. This reference may sound like overkill, but it’s this type of power that allows us to do sophisticated calculations directly on the mouse – without the need for software drivers and without having to rely on the user’s computer.
  • newegg BEST-IN-CLASS TECHNOLOGY Featuring an improved state of the art laser sensor that offers a consistent and reliable performance, the SteelSeries Sensei MLG Edition boasts 10.8 megapixel HD image correlation at up to 12,000 frames per second and the ability to handle tracking movements of up to 150 inches per second.
  • newegg ADVANCED MACROS Thanks to the support of the SteelSeries Engine software, you can record even extremely long and advanced macros to the Sensei. The macros can be layered and can include keystrokes and precise timing. How you will decide to use this advanced feature is up to you (choose your configurations wisely and adhere to any rules that you may need to abide by during gameplay); we are only presenting you with the capabilities for endless possibilities.
  • newegg ON-MOUSE LCD MENU With the LCD display on the backside of the SteelSeries Sensei, you can customize all settings to fit your specific needs. The LCD menu offers setup of even the most advanced ExactTech settings described on this page. It also allows you to upload your own bitmap picture, offering a great way to personalize your mouse – and help prevent theft at LAN-events, gaming cafes and other public places. Design your own unique picture for the Sensei LCD display, download to your computer and upload to your Sensei via the SteelSeries Engine software.
  • newegg EXACTLIFT: ADJUSTABLE LIFT DISTANCE & EXACTAIM: SLOW DOWN AND FOCUS EXACTLIFT gives you the ability to customize the lift distance. This has a number of practical applications, most importantly it allows you to fine-tune the mouse to your preferred mousepad or mousing surface. Not all surfaces are equal. Surfaces are made of many different types of materials and those different materials have different qualities. They can be reflective, rough, smooth… the list goes on. All of these factors will influence the lift distance of a normal mouse; with the Sensei, we put a whole new dimension of control in your hands. SteelSeries ExactAim will allow you to be more precise. Headshots anyone? As you slow down your cursor the mouse will decelerate even more allowing you to focus on your target.
  • newegg EXACTACCEL: MOVE FAST, NO EVEN FASTER & EXACTSENS: CONTROL THE SENSITIVITY SteelSeries ExactAccel does just the opposite as ExactAim. As you increase the speed of your mouse movement, ExactAccel will accelerate your movements even faster in order for you to move across your game or page faster. SteelSeries ExactSens allows you to control how fast your pointer should move by adjusting your CPI in increments of 1 between 1 to 5,700 CPI. This means, the SteelSeries Sensei offers you true hardware based sensitivity settings, freeing you of interpolation from game software. To really get the full benefit from ExactSens you need to deactivate any cursor acceleration and set your sensitivity settings in-game (sensitivity 1 or adjust your sensitivity slider to lowest possible setting) and on your operating system to default. You can use the CPI calculator below to find the value that resembles the cursor speed you are used to, giving you a good starting point for tweaking your sensitivity to perfection.

4 out of 5 eggsNice mouse

Pros: Nice mouse but touchy. Nice feel to it. Really good cord on it too. Looks good. Moves with ease.

Cons: Really touchy. Just think of clicking and it clicks before you even touch the thing.

Other Thoughts: Some might like a really sensitive mouse but it is not for me. I am used to laying my finger on the button but this one I have to hover my finger over the thing and that gets tiring for my achy fingers.

1 out of 5 eggsHorrific customer support, mediocre mouse

Pros: Light, nice smooth surface, braided cabling, Avago sensor and high polling rates. Ambidextrous design

Cons: Pretty sharply sloped forward making "claw-users" potentially cramp. Software drivers causing problems. And good luck trying to contact and get a response/refund from customer service.

Other Thoughts: First, some background: I'm a L-handed mouse user, I use a more "claw" grip; my hands are medium to slightly large (I can just about palm a grippy full size basketball); this is being used on my PC running dual GTX 770 SLI, 16gb RAM. I do have my PC hooked up to a Synology server (which Steelseries stated in their FAQ that may cause problems with drivers).

My wife bought this from Steelseries direct for a Xmas gift. I had been using a Razer L-hand Deathadder that has seen better days. Off the bat, I really wanted to like the Sensei MLG. The mouse was of good size, the buttons were responsive. BUT right off the bat, the mouse drivers didn't work--it would not recognize the mouse, no matter what I tried. More research into this found that I had a potential problem with my Synology server program--this was a deal killer.

I tried using it anyhow, utilizing the basic Windows mouse drivers. It did work, but functionality was very limited with little adjustments possible. I did notice that, because I tend to grip "claw" style, whenever I'm playing FPS like BF4, my hand creeps forward and I have an exaggerated claw grip. Well, this causes some crampage--especially in my 4th and 5th digits, that are clinging to the side of the mouse. I just didn't get along with the shape of this mouse.

And the salt in the wound is their customer service. They promise 14d refund--and despite them saying they would, they have yet to email a RMA back, 2.5wks into it...TERRIBLE.... just look up BBB and all the customer service complaints, they aren't a good company to do business with, at least directly...

2 out of 5 eggs8.1 Problems

Pros: Seems like a nice mouse. Not too heavy, glides nicely.

Cons: The "SteelSeries Engine" software may as well be malware on Windows 8.1. As of right now it does not install, and will cause your OS installation to bluescreen. DO NOT INSTALL THE SOFTWARE.

Without this software, I'm unable to use any of the advanced features of the mouse.

5 out of 5 eggsBest Mouse Ever

Pros: Easy to use software for hotkeys, DPI changes and LED Changing. INSANE DPI highs and lows, Bright Mouse LED's, Fingerprints can be taken off with a simple cloth, solid switches and a solid build

Cons: None to think of at the moment, nothing is bad about this mouse

Other Thoughts: As always steelseries really produced a great product, This is their top of the line most expensive mouse, The MLG edition includes everything that the original Sensei had but includes a couple extra perks.... This mouse can be change DPI wise at intervals of one, allowing you to get the perfect movement out of your mouse....... I would pair this mouse with the QCK+ line of mousepads, I personally use the QCK+ MLG Splatter edition.... I know I do not have verified owner, this is because of the fact that I bought it from steelseries on cyber monday for $50 off.... great mouse must have
