3 out of 5 eggsCan do Better

Pros: Bought this elsewhere.

I never use software. I always plug the mouse and just use.

The 2 left buttons are decently placed and never have issues.
DPI feature is nice.

Light is not too bright.

Mouse movement is pretty fluid.

Cons: What kills the mouse, are the 2 right buttons. I press them a lil too often and I have not been able to get used to it.

They have not been much of an isse with games but it is annoying when I am surfing or doing other computer related things.

Other Thoughts: I am sure I can do better for the price.
I think my hands are regular sized hands. If you have bigger hands I would say avoid. This mouse seems best suited for smaller hands.

1 out of 5 eggsnot worth the money

Pros: Fantastic form factor, feels solid in your hand, very accurate on my steelseries mousepad. No complaints about the day to day functioning. I love the plain form factor this is old school MS laser mouse style but with some extra buttons. I personally can't stand the new form factors that are just awkward to hold (Razer).

Cons: This is the second one of these I have bought. The first one the mousewheel totally failed (it completely collapsed inward on itself). If you do any serious gaming, you can plan on a button or two pooping out in a year or so at minimum, probably before that. The second one they sent me as a replacement has now died and I am here buying this one. I wouldn't buy it if it wasn't on sale for $31. The springs are cheap as dirt. I expect more for a premium gaming mouse meant for gaming and spamming clicks. Don't pay $70 for this or you're going to feel bad when it poops out. I am only willing to pay $31 because it's the only mouse in this form factor and aside from it's lack of longevity it's essentially the perfect mouse. I just don't understand why they wouldn't spend $1 or $2 more on springs (let's be honest, it's probably less than that) to inspire diehard loyalty. As soon as I find a new brand that I can tolorate, I will move on and never look back at Steel Series. But for now all the manufacturers all want mouses with more buttons, look cooler, or are "meant for MMORPG", etc...

Other Thoughts: Highly recommend buying the SS mousepad - it's the best $30 I've ever spent for gaming.

Pros: The mouse is very smooth and feels great this is based on the regular steel series mice. The orange leds are great matches my bf4 razer blackwidow.

Cons: none.

5 out of 5 eggsI like it!

Pros: All around gripy texture
Wheel is a solid press but not too stiff
Side buttons are easy to get to/use
Software over all is fairly easy to use and change the DPI or CPI and setup custom loadouts per game

Cons: If you have a short hand spaning wrist to finger tip you may feel the mouse is too long for you. Just a thought

Other Thoughts: I came from a RAT 9 wireless which I liked for games like diablo and other RPG style games but I felt like I just couldn't get comfortable with it while playing BLOPS II

I thought going from a weighted mouse like the RAT to this lighter mouse would be a challenge but it took almost no time to get use to, I really like this mouse. Reminds me of my old Microsoft Optical Intelli mouse which I owned for so long and LOVED!
