3 out of 5 eggsCould be better

Pros: Nice design, feels comfortable. No malfunctions yet.

Cons: The loud clicking is a deal breaker for me. It can be heard throughout the house.

2 out of 5 eggsdefective

Pros: Clicking and cursor movement works fine

Cons: Mouse wheel scrolling does not work. Cheap plastic makes clicking very loud. Red LED activates when you plug it into the PC and remains on constantly regardless the PC's state.

Other Thoughts: When I scroll the wheel while viewing a webpage, the chance that the page will scroll decreases with each "click" of the wheel. After 5 or so wheel "clicks" the page just reacts randomly to the input, sometimes scrolling the opposite way but mostly doing absolutely nothing. I tried obtaining drivers but the official kingwin drivers seem to have been lost in translation as they are complete garbage, bordering on malware or just spam, and they had no effect on the mouse's behavior.

I have not seen this issue described elsewhere in these comments, therefore it appears it is simply a defective mouse. I can't justify going through a refund or replacement process for something under ten bucks; so here is my review of how bad my experience with this defective mouse is. Malfunctioning mouse scrolling may seem unimportant to some, but I can stomach it no longer, it's time to toss this one in the bin and look for something with slightly more quality assurance.

1 out of 5 eggsFaulty unit, low price doesn't warrant shipping back

Pros: none - doesn't work

Cons: mouse not recognized in any pc. I have tested in XP, 7 home premium and 7 pro 64 pcs, usb 2.0 and 3.0, all give device not recognized errors. Always have been very pleased with newegg, this is obviously an anomaly.

2 out of 5 eggsGet what you pay for...

Pros: Small
Cheap
Kinda shiny

Cons: The right click doesn't work very well. The "tab" of plastic that is supposed to form the right arm of the mouse was bent up when I took it out of the box, making it significantly more difficult to right click than left click. I only plan on using this as a backup mouse for a mostly-headless computer, but it's still a pain. It's not worth the shipping cost to RMA it either and Kingwin won't pay for shipping it to them. I recommend spending a few dollars more and getting something that's not the dirt-cheapest mouse option.

2 out of 5 eggsLet down by a few things...

Pros: precision tracking and good feel to the wheel.
However, it's undermined by the items I listed in
Cons. Not sure if I will leave it attached.

Cons: Left and right clicks a little stiff and noisy,
tricky to get a good double click. The cable is less flexible
that most, and positioning it so that it doesn't interfere
with mouse movement has to be taken into account

Other Thoughts: It's smaller than I expected. My 8 years old loves it.
Not sure what the attraction is (if there is one) to such
a small mouse.

4 out of 5 eggsgreat mouse for the price

Pros: Very good little mouse. Inexpensive and works great.

Cons: Smaller than I thought, but like other reviews have stated I didn't read the mini mouse part.

Other Thoughts: great inexpensive little mouse, gets the job done.
