Other Thoughts: I have had this headset for over a year and it still works great. I have had no issue with sound quality or mic problems. I use them when gaming with friends, and I take them with me whenever I travel (which is several times a year), and they are great.

I gave them 4 eggs instead of 5 because they can be uncomfortable to wear for hours on end, and because the mic mute switch has a slight tendency to slip and mute the mic. It just takes a second to switch back once you figure out the problem, but in game sometimes I don't have a second to spare.

Pros: Worked great for 6 months, Good sound.

Cons: The microphone just stopped working after 6 months. When testing the mic, all it does is send distorted sounds and feedback like noise. I tested it on several computers, does the same on all of them.

Pros: Great headset!!! I knew it was not a power headset when I got it but I wanted to get it because it was made by Thermaltake so I knew it would be good and it is.

Other Thoughts: Like the review writer before me, my headset isn't holding up. I purchased in July, 2012, so it's basically new, but the plastic around the wires is breaking at the ends, and I expect that the wires will be exposed soon. Also, the left earphone is going out. Sometimes it works. Sometimes it doesn't. I feel like I shouldn't have to pay over $100 for a headset with the basic features of being circumaural, having a mic, sounding decent, and not falling apart in a few months.

Pros: Sound works great on these.

Cons: The microphone died as soon as I cut the UPC off the box. Thermaltake requires me to pay return shipping, which is substantial for these.

Other Thoughts: I wish I would have waited to fill out the mail-in rebate so that I could have gotten Newegg's eggcelent return policy instead of Thermaltake's expensive one.

Pros: Owned for 4 months, and these have been used at least once a week. Very comfortable (maybe a little too tight when I have a headache). Great sound quality. Rebate came in the advertised timeframe.

Cons: These don't block out much ambient sound, but I didn't buy them for that.

Even with today's sale, they were still $5 cheaper 4 months ago.

Other Thoughts: I have a George Lopez sized head, and wearing these headphones for two hours at a time is reasonably comfortable. Wish they'd adjust to be just a few notches bigger. Fortunately, the padding on the top of the head is sufficient and comfortable.

Pros: Pretty durable, looks great, reasonably inexpensive.

Cons: They were tight on my head, weren't usb, the volume control is much too sensitive.

Other Thoughts: I had these for about 6 months. They worked well for awhile. Then all of a sudden the right earmuff stopped working.

Pros: Look cool

Cons: Right speaker died few weeks later. Because i sent off for rebate i couldnt return for refund. GG Oh yea be careful, 1 per household. I guess thats how they get you. Even though my gf doesnt live here but used my address to be shipped to, it got declined because 1 per household, which is complete B.S. IMO never buy these, they are awful just like those garbage logitech's that like clockwork after 1 month the sound goes in 1 ear.

Other Thoughts: Had to give 1 egg. Wouldnt let me give 0.

Pros: Look real cool, feel comfortable.

Cons: Right speaker completely died the first month, the mic is horrible honestly, but sound quality on headphones is fine. Would not buy, honestly, I'm returning mine tomorrow. I'm writting this out of spite and because I'd hate for anyone to go through this like I did.

Other Thoughts: Just don't buy it please. Theres many others who say the right headphone dies after just a while, not worth it.
