5 out of 5 eggsFantastic

Pros: I have 2 of these mice - Work fantastic. I love the changeable weights too. Mine is heavier than my wife's. Color change system is simple and straight forward as well. I'm sure I have done over 200k clicks on my mouse and it is still solid and only a tiny showing of wearing through the paint.

Cons: None! Buy one!

3 out of 5 eggsOnly 2 Year Life Span

Pros: Accurate, weighted, well shaped. You can change the colors if your into that kind of thing. Lots of buttons and on the fly adjustable scroll speed.

Cons: Mouse Wheel broke after 2 years of use. Disappointing to say the least.

3 out of 5 eggsPhysical = good / Software = BAD

Pros: To start off on this, let me say that I am actually an IT professional. Not just some person who opened a computer once and automatically thinks they are a computer expert.

now onto the real review. Physically, the mouse is great. The buttons aren't flimsy, it doesn't feel cheap, it feels good in the hand (If you like skinny mice with a good high arch). The cable is really nice as well. it would be hard to break that things, and you cat will have a touch time chewing through it. +1 for physical

also +1 for the 6500 DPI. Though no one will really everr need 6500DPI, it's still impressive that the laser is so precise

Cons: NOW is where the real hassle comes into play.

Firstly, I've had 2 of these mice. The first one started double-clicking when I would only click once. It took a few months for it to start doing this. I figured I could have just gotten a bad mouse.. I traded it in, got a new one, and haven't had that problem again.

The software is the really killer on this mouse. It seems cool at first. You can change all the colors, macros, and DPI x&y axis settings. Unfortunately, this is not all when it seems. The software for this mouse constantly interferes with things. I was unable to play several games (DiRT 3 being the one that jumps into my head first) when this mouse's software was running. It says I have a security error for the game or something. It was a real pain to figure out what was wrong.

Also, in Windows 8, I've found that when the mouse's software is running, it changes the registry value HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control Panel\Desktop\DragFullWindows to 0, without the registry reflecting this change (it will still say 1 or (no value)). It took a good week to figure out what the hell was causing this to happen on my Win 8 machine. Really REALLY annoying.

Other Thoughts: Overall, I think this is a pretty good mouse, but when it really dies, I will likely NOT be choosing this one again.

3 out of 5 eggsall great until....

Pros: awesome dpi
super comfy
looks sexy
no flimsy buttons

Cons: breaks quickly
customer support doesnt answer

Other Thoughts: after having and loving this mouse for ~ a year, its all of a sudden went to hell. 3 out of 4 clicks are now a double click which is awful for gaming let alone just surfing the web. to top that off while scrolling the cursor across the screen the cursor will randomly move in the opposite direction for ~.5 seconds which sucks for gaming. Now when i go to ask about fixing this while under warranty i dont get a response, awesome.

5 out of 5 eggsLOVE IT!

Pros: I’ve had this mouse for a while quite some time; and I don’t have the world’s biggest or smallest hand so I can’t speak for anyone else but myself, it is a very comfortable to use, since I am on the road a lot these days, because how compacted and capable to pretty much work on any type of surface, this mouse is now dedicated my main traveler. LIGHTS! Who doesn't like lights! Even got pink for the ladies and the few gentlemen out there who like pink!

Cons: I’ve had this mouse for a while quite some time; and I don’t have the world’s biggest or smallest hand so I can’t speak for anyone else but myself, it is a very comfortable to use, since I am on the road a lot these days, because how compacted and capable to pretty much work on any type of surface, this mouse is now dedicated my main traveler. LIGHTS! Who doesn't like lights! Even got pink for the ladies and the few gentlemen out there who like pink!

Other Thoughts: Who cares if it’s designed for FPS MMO/RPG RTS ABC CBA XYZ 123 or WHAT EVER! If it works and works well for what you do, then keep on using it. A lot of time when people see a mouse is designed for a certain type of games they may never play, they’ll just automatically pass on it, in my years of gaming, I’ve never had any problem using “FPS mouse” for MMO/RPG and using a MMO/RPG mouse to pwn noobs in almost all FPS based games

Just FYI to all the users out there, don’t tell people this is a bad mouse when it’s your own fault for not installing the driver or installing the wrong ones.

2 out of 5 eggsElement Mouse

Pros: Awesome grips, easy to use buttons, though I never could get the right side button working... Feels great in your hand tho and fantastic sensitivity.

Cons: Middle roller went out after about 6 months of regular use. As mentioned, could never get the right button working in any games. The stock program for it seems rather clunky and (imo) should have been handled with simple buttons under the mouse or something else simple.

2 out of 5 eggsSoftware issues

Pros: High dpi (if you'll ever use very much of anyway)
Cool color scheme, good shape.

Cons: The software isn't very good and often runs into issues with steam games and other games (GTA:IV, Borderlands.)
With mine the tracking goes wierd and starts to only track in a diagonal line (bottom left to top right)

Other Thoughts: I would go with a razer or logitech tbh, this has been more trouble than its worth.

5 out of 5 eggsWorks great, despite issues

Pros: 100x100 to 6500x6500 DPI. Can even make the X and Y axis values different.

Four saveable DPI settings over five mouse profiles; total of twenty DPI profiles.

Easy to understand Software.

Very attractive design.

Lights! Who doesn't like lights? You get Red, Blue, an Icy Blue, Magenta, and Green. Also, you can turn off the lights in specific areas or just the entire thing if you don't like lights.

Rubber, very nice grip.

Comfortable, curvy, mouse 1 and 2 buttons. They sort of bowl around your fingers when claw gripping.

Comfortable scroll wheel, won't get that "Greasy" feel.

Can program the mouse buttons to do other things.

Can also adjust scroll, cursor, and double click speeds.

Adjustable weight.

Cons: The Mouse 5 button (left side, right at the very front) is a strain to reach unless you grip -way- at the front of the mouse. I have to physically move my hand up to hit it, and I even claw grip.

Placement of the DPI buttons are awkward. Unlike Mouse 5, you have to move the hand down to press. Can't even make other buttons change the DPI.

The profile button is on the bottom of the mouse. (I rarely change the profile though.)

The right macro button is incredibly awkward to press. (I never use macros, however.)

Had a small problem with my existing mouse driver and this mouse's driver conflicting, causing the mouse to double click, getting to a point that two out of three clicks was a double click. (Fixed by just uninstalling the old driver.)

Minor; For some reason, you can not mix-and-match the colors of the lights.

Other Thoughts: I love this mouse, it is a great replacement for my old one. Though, I do not know how; but my cat managed to steal -all- of the weights. It took a while to get used to how light the mouse actually is; but I find it is more comfortable to use now.

Also, if you rarely turn your PC off; it's nice to be able to disable the lights on it's own profile.

>>>Despite the flaws, this is a very solid mouse that I will recommend to anyone who is looking to buy for general gaming use.
<!> HOWEVER. This is a very rudimentary RTS/MMO mouse due to how awkward M4, M5, and the Macro keys are! <!>
