4 out of 5 eggsGood Mouse, Love it

This review is from: Tt eSPORTS Level 10 M USB Laser Gaming Mouse - Diamond Black

Pros: Adjustable sensitivity on the fly, nylon cord, distinct click for all buttons, easy to change colors, adjustable mouse tilt + height, heavy and built sturdy, good air flow between your hand and the mouse

Cons: Right mouse buttons on the side (2) can't really be used - they're just too far back for any fingers to reach, The scroll button is not smooth or can't be switched to smooth - the interval scroll is good for gaming/weapon switching but for internet browsing and likewise it just gets annoying

Other Thoughts: Had this mouse for a long time now and still love it. It's smooth, heavy, metal build, long mouse cord, very distinct, precise, I love it

1 out of 5 eggsFailed after three months

This review is from: Tt eSPORTS Level 10 M USB Laser Gaming Mouse - Diamond Black

Pros: Adjustable, comfortable for people with large hands

Very accurate and very solid. Doesn't flex when clicked like other mice

Looks great

Cons: Failed after three months. At first it would disconnect every now and then, however the problem got worse over time. Now every time I plug it in the light on the mouse comes on for about three seconds, then shuts off and I get an error "USB device not recognized" on Windows systems.

This occurs regardless of operating system (Windows, Linux, etc.) and drivers (generic/basic USB mouse drivers or the TT drivers and software). I cannot reinstall the firmware because the mouse doesn't stay connected long enough to update the firmware, nor does Windows recognize it to be able to push the firmware to it.

I contacted customer support because others have mentioned the same problem here, attempted several times over the course of a few months. Never got a call back or email back. Nothing.

Due to my warranty being up on it soon with no help in sight, I decided to take it apart to see what's going on with it (I thought possibly there was a cold solder joint or the USB connector was loose). No damage/QC issues with any of the electronic components or anything, I believe simply the firmware corrupted itself.

Other Thoughts: Final verdict: A very pretty, very expensive paperweight.

5 out of 5 eggsNOT for claw-grippers

This review is from: Tt eSPORTS Level 10 M USB Laser Gaming Mouse - Diamond Black

Pros: Unlike what a couple people have mentioned in previous reviews, I disagree that anyone using a "claw"-style grip on their mouse will find this comfortable. I have large hands, and palming this mouse feels FAR more comfortable than trying to claw it. It's simply too long (unless you have hands like Shaq) to hold it that way. On that note, I think it's quite comfy to use, especially considering it's "exoskeleton" frame. The side buttons will certainly take a bit to get used to, but overall it hasn't been much of an issue for me. I've used a number of different gaming mice of all sorts of different shapes and sizes, so every mouse is going to feel different, regardless of which one you buy, how you grip a mouse, or the shape of the mouse itself. In regards to performance, I've had no issues whatsoever with any tracking issues, DPI adjustment issues, or anything else. The ability to change the LED colors is also pretty cool, although wasn't necessarily a major feature that I was looking for. The weight of this mouse is certainly a bit hefty due to its metal frame, and it kinda sucks that there's a complete lack of any weight adjustment, but the stock skates on the bottom do an excellent job of allowing the Level 10 to glide across your mousepad with ease.

Cons: The software is garbage, and should've never been packaged with this mouse in the first place. Thermaltake needs to up their game a bit in regards to that, but that's really the only issue I have with this mouse (so far). As mentioned above, the side buttons can certainly cause a few headaches for some people, as well as the large size, but consider yourself warned with this review (and many others).

Other Thoughts: BE WARNED: this mouse is HUGE. From the heel of my right hand to the tip of my middle finger, my hand measures roughly 8" in length. If your hand is substantially smaller than that, or you use a "claw"-style grip while using a mouse, this is definitely NOT for you. If you're willing to give your hand a chance to get used to the location of the side buttons, I think you'll be perfectly happy with this mouse.

4 out of 5 eggsGood mouse

This review is from: Tt eSPORTS Level 10 M USB Laser Gaming Mouse - Diamond Black

Pros: It has a good weight. Scroll wheel doesn't have those stupid left and right buttons when you push the wheel side to side. The software works and I haven't had issues with it.

Cons: To long for my hands. I'm a claw gripper. If it was about 20cm shorter it would be perfect for me. Also the four side button are an annoyance at times when I move the mouse side to side. If the smaller side buttons where removed or moved further back it would be perfect.

Other Thoughts: This review focuses on my style of use. If you are a palm gripper then this mouse should be perfect for you.

5 out of 5 eggsI love this mouse

This review is from: Tt eSPORTS Level 10 M USB Laser Gaming Mouse - Diamond Black

Pros: - Heavy mouse
- adjustable DPI on the fly
- sick colours
- smooth movement, comfortable hand fit
- able to adjust structure (tilt, rise)
- customizable software/mapping
- nylon wrapping around cord

Cons: - right side buttons are not easily accessible when needed for quick response
- mouse wheel is not fluid, "spins" only in intervals (good or bad depending)

Other Thoughts: Owned this mouse for awhile now and I'm truly impressed. The built quality is superb, its heavy and solid. The only little part that feels plasticy is the DPI adjustment button. The movement is smooth and it just feels right. I never have a problem with tracking on any surface (I don't use a mousepad). Would definitely purchase again if this ever died on me.

3 out of 5 eggsIt's an OKAY mouse

This review is from: Tt eSPORTS Level 10 M USB Laser Gaming Mouse - Diamond Black

Pros: The mouse is very well balanced, the buttons are too big on the sides, the grip is nice. The ability to change LCD was pretty cool and have it rotating.

Cons: I unfortunately bought this mouse when it first came out for $99.99 and I was like, okay this mouse has to be the mouse for me right? Well IT was... for a little, until I realize that the weight of the mouse is a bit excessive. Along with that, when I have to pick up the mouse and move it, I can see my cursor moving, even when I don't have anything underneath it, (like if I shake the mouse.) I also have a rattling sound in my mouse where it sounds like something got dislodged.

The mouse could be a lot better, I've had mice that could take a lot of damage, especially with traveling. This mouse hasn't even lasted a quarter of the length of cheaper mice.

There was also an issue with the double click that had to be addressed with a software patch which sorta kinda helped it.

Other Thoughts: The mouse is great, but I was going to use this for gaming, and for that. I will say, look somewhere else, because this mouse is more of a casual user then a gamer.

Manufacturer Response:

Dear Customer,
The lift off distance can be adjusted through the Level 10 gaming mouse software. Additionally if there are any damages caused due to a manufacture defect, please contact Customer Service who will help you to remedy the issue.

5 out of 5 eggsAwesome Mouse Bad Shipping with a USED ITEM!

This review is from: Tt eSPORTS Level 10 M USB Laser Gaming Mouse - Diamond Black

Pros: The mouse is the perfect size for my hand. I'm not picky and don't need the luxury of a pinky grip so that it rests comfortably i work in an office with an everyday average mouse.

This mouse is the perfect weight for me and the side buttons on the left are perfectly ok with me. I Don't know how people accidentally hit them. If you have tiny hands then yeah this probably isn't the mouse for you.

I am a Palm/Claw Gripper and this fits me perfectly.

If you want style and a decent mouse that will get the job done. And to be able to say that your mouse was designed by BMW then look no further.

Cons: Not a Major Con but I wish the profile/sensitivity button could be useful during game play.

Other Thoughts: Newegg sent me a USED item. The Package looked like it had been kicked around multiple times. The bag the mouse came with looked like someone burnt it somehow and made it shrink.

I know Newegg will say that they NEVER send used items. This item was definately used.

The zip ties that hold the mouse in place were clear. ALL of the unboxing videos I have watched had it tied down in black zip ties. It also already had the sticker that covered the lazer removed. Which again is in every unboxing video I have seen. The cd and manual baggy that come in a plastic back came in a Half torn plastic bag.

I find this unacceptable. LUCKILY for Newegg I value my time and NEEDED a new mouse so I didn't care to RMA the item and waste money. The mouse came intact and it works that all that matters to me. I don't care about a carrying bag or that some one else had their hands on it for 2 seconds and sent it back.

I just hope it doesn't happen again. I don't like paying full price for used items.

3 out of 5 eggsDecent Enough

This review is from: Tt eSPORTS Level 10 M USB Laser Gaming Mouse - Diamond Black

Pros: Looks great. Enjoyed the ability to change LED color.

Software was usable.

Easy to adjust to hand size.

The ability to disable all side buttons!

Cons: The buttons. I assumed the buttons that grace the side of the BMW designed mouse would be streamlined at hardly stick out... But no, they stick out like crazy, and happen to be right where I rest my thumb. So even moving or picking up the mouse results in my hitting at least two buttons at all times.

It's big... Like really big, I have large hands and this thing is still a monster to wield.

The software, while usable, is pretty archaic and unfriendly.

Other Thoughts: While there is plenty to like, I have a sneaking suspicion that I'm eventually going to pull out the R.A.T. 7 that I shelved.

1 out of 5 eggsIt’s a pretty piece of junk.

This review is from: Tt eSPORTS Level 10 M USB Laser Gaming Mouse - Diamond Black

Pros: It’s very pretty and it points/clicks well.

Cons: I was concerned about purchasing a high-end mouse via mail without knowing how it would feel in my hand. I chose this mouse because it was designed by BMW’s design team and I figured it would at least have good form and function. I was wrong. Simply put, there no comfortable place for your thumb or pink. To make matters worse, the two buttons on the right side are almost unclickable, due to the fact that the pinky must apply pressure horizontally rather than clicking down. Yuck! Additionally, the adjustments are lame.

3 out of 5 eggsSolid hardware, Lacking Software

This review is from: Tt eSPORTS Level 10 M USB Laser Gaming Mouse - Diamond Black

Pros: The mouse itself is incredibly well built. The weight is a little on the heavy side which is what I prefer, the custom adjustment let me set up an amazing grip.

I love the little wire harness out the top of the mouse, it eliminates the issue of the cable getting in your way.

Cons: Lets start with the worst part of the mouse: the software. It's beyond useless, to the point where it seems maliciously written, or at least maybe coded by a 12 year old in notepad. I used the mouse for about a week before deciding to try setting up a different keybind, did not install the software until then. I was unable to get it to bind to a keyboard button and I have a pretty high technical skill level. I created a new profile and set it as active, but the 'single keybind' option was just grayed out, no explanation, no options. I played around with it for about 20 minutes before closing the program and going back to my game: I figured I'd just change the game setting so that mouse 5 = the action I wanted.

To my horror, I now noticed that every time I pressed a side action button on the mouse, a huge red arrow would pop up, as if I had pressed back or forward on a web page. In the middle of my game. Covering up a skill bar. Unacceptable. Uninstalling the software removed the arrow, and as far as I'm concerned I am going to throw the CD in the trash.

This means that the handy-looking d-pad on the bottom right of the mouse is basically just a huge, protruding DPI switch. I'm thus utterly disappointed with the customization of the side buttons. The ones on the right of the mouse work fine, but are difficult to push and I have trouble doing it fluidly with my pinky.

Other Thoughts: TL:DR you have an excellently made mouse with an amazing look that has zero software support and a cumbersome DPI switch.
