Love 'em!
- Pros: Lightweight, extremely comfortable, great sound, detachable and replaceable cord, single battery operation, reasonably priced.
- Cons: A few reviewers complained about battery replacement. You have to remove an ear pad to get to the battery compartment. Personally, I don't think it's all that bad. just gently pull the pad off, insert battery, and snap the pad back on. My only concern is that the tabs will eventually weaken and won't hold the ear pad any longer. Hopefully that part can be replaced when (and if) the time comes.
- Other Thoughts: I work in a noisy computer lab and wear noise cancelling headphones every day. My last pair, Sennheiser PXC250's, lasted a little over a year but one of the non-detachable cords wore out. I replaced it and then the other cable started acting up a month or two later so I gave up on them.
I really like the fact that these JVC's have a detachable cord and I hope they last a while. It's just a matter of time before I wear it out too.
One more thing. Newegg shipped these to me fast even after a long holiday weekend...gotta love 'em for that too!
Exceeded my expectations
- Pros: Comfortable, outstanding sound, and the noise cancellation works very well.
- Cons: None at all.
- Other Thoughts: I couldn't be happier with this purchase.
- Pros: Good cancellation of engine noise during several flights I have taken recently. When you remove the headphones the sound goes from quiet to a roar.
- Cons: Battery compartment is somewhat annoying to access.
