Pros: These earphones are great at blocking out outside disturbances. They have pretty good sound quality if they are inserted "deep" into the ear canal. Cost was pretty good at $15.00 but I see now it has edged up a bit. They really fit well and are comfortable to wear for extended periods of use, ie overnight in bed.
Cons: After awhile the rubber inserts slip off the stem and if not careful will remain in your ears when you remove the earphones, this reqires use of tweezers or some long fingernails to pull them out of your ears.
Other Thoughts: My pair of earphones recently quit working and I've found out the warranty is only for 30 days. I've had them for about 7 months and used them nearly everyday (night) in this period. I would say I've gotten my money out of them, but was dissapointed when they quit.

Rating: 3/5Not good for jogging
Pros: Nice sound and frequency response.
Cons: It is impossible to jog with these headphones. I tried and they wouldn't stay in my ears (used the largest cushions) and the cord noise was unberable. I couldn't hear the music anymore
Other Thoughts: If you don't intend to use them in motion, they are pretty good
Other Thoughts: dont buy it, spend some more for a better one.

Pros: I really like the sound of these. Im not really a big fan of bass, and these have plenty of it, but it's nice and punchy, not over the top. Mids are a tad bit recessed, and highs are bright and can sometimes get too harsh on certain songs. Not much in terms of soundstage, but imaging is pretty good. I've only had these for a few days and im not sure if "burning in" will improve the sound, but im very satisfied with them as they are.
They look great as well; not too flashy, and come with a very nice velvet pouch that should be able to fit most small music players along with the headphones themselves.
Cons: Durability looks to be an issue from reading previous reviews and I can see why: the cable seems pretty flimsy especially past the y-split and looks like it would break easy if proper care is not taken.
The cord is fairly short. An extra foot on the cord would make plenty of people happy
I also had a hard time getting a good seal with the stock ear-tips with the headphones. I had to resort to using tips that came off a different set of headphones.
Other Thoughts: Aside from the small gripes I had, I really do like these headphones; especially at the price they're being sold at. They a have a pretty unique sound signature compared to other bass heavy offerings at this price point
Keep up the good work JVC!
And thanks to newegg for the lightning fast delivery!

Rating: 4/5has some nice bass
Pros: Nice velvet pouch. They sound pretty good better than my ipod buds. They do cancel out a lot of noise and my was going on in the car on the road trip. LOL
Black velvet was pimpin.. If only I had that song on my ipod with the buds on .. hmmmmmm Black vellllllllllvet.. ok.. I won't sing. LOL
They take getting used too. I did adjust the trebble and bass on a few songs that were at 128kps.. I prefer 192 and up.
Cons: a bit hard to get into my ears but once they were in .. all good.
Remember when your singing out loud people can hear you and you can't hear them laughing at your tone defness. epic fail. lol
Other Thoughts: I got these on sale with 1.99 or free shipping I forgot... I like them alot with my ipod nano 8 gig.

Rating: 2/5Out After 45 days
Pros: Just what I was looking for, fit snugly in the ear while I exercise. Price is right.
Cons: Right ear gone out totally yesterday after 45 days. The left ear come on and off right after I received them. I wouldn't recommend them if you will be wearing them to exercise and if you sweat a lot like I do.
Other Thoughts: Trying the get in touch with JVC customer care but no one pick up by phone call yet.

Pros: Fit and comfort is above average. Sound quality is average, but I use these for 7 to 8 hours a pop and find the comfort and fit to be a higher priority.
Cons: These headphones are extremely sensitive to ear wax/moisture. I know it's not a pretty picture, but basically I have to wipe them off every couple of ours or so (I am running around on my feet all day at work) or they get contaminated with ear wax through the small speaker screen. Too much and they will cut out completely. A quick hit with a Q-tip and some rubbing alcohol gets them back to normal.

Rating: 2/5Don't Bother
Pros: They were only $20 on sale from $40 and the sound quality is not bad. Bass is good when the earpieces are seated properly. Good if you plan to lie perfectly motionless while you listen to music.
The shape allows you to lay down on your side and not have them press hard against your ear which was the highlight of owning these.
Cons: Completely impractical. I bought these to replace a Creative set I also bought from Newegg (but are now discontinued) but I am really disappointed. The cord is far too short to have your mp3 player in your pocket and walk around. I'm 5'7" to put it in perspective. I've tried all three sizes of earbuds and none of them fit properly. The middle size will seal but as soon as I start moving it pops out. Cord transmits a lot of noise when it moves and is too stiff.
Other Thoughts: Don't waste your money on these. I assumed that they would be a good deal at $20 because they are originally marked at $40 but asking $10 is pushing it.
