4 out of 5 eggsSame for less for decent semi-closed entry level h-phones

Pros: Decent semi-closed headphones with solid freq. sounds
Comfortable for longer time periods versus other fullsized semi's

Cons: Semi-closed headphones aren't as effective at noise cancellation
Old gen type big fullsize headphones can be uncomfortable for some after awhile

Other Thoughts: For the price as entry level semi-closed phones these work surprisingly well for my use. Only downside is these can be found for 16% less cost at bigbox retailer but am satisified with pirchase from NE (were actually gift)

5 out of 5 eggsAffordable and Great Quality

Pros: The sound is great, they hug your head and cover your ears. They're great at blocking out outside noise, and the cord is thick and durable.

Cons: They can leave some pretty gnarly headphone hair because of the giant pad on the top if you wear them for too long.

Other Thoughts: I wasn't expecting them to be as much as they are from the photos here but they are pretty huge. Not a bad thing, but they are definitely headphones you would keep at home unless you pack some serious luggage.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat headphone

Pros: These are large, ear covering headphone and that is what I was looking for. I'm no audiophile but they should great to me. The cord is plenty long so I could use them to watch TV late a night.

Cons: None

4 out of 5 eggsDecent

Pros: Works just fine. Good performance for the modest price.

Cons: I've used better earphones, but such devices cost a lot more as well.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Lightweight for it's size. Durable enough construction that has lasted for over a year of consistent use. Reasonably good sound. Very comfortable to wear for extended periods of time.

Cons: Low frequency sound probably won't blow you away. Build quality perfectly fine for average use, but don't expect these to be built like a tank. I won''t be taking eggs off for these. If I wanted a top of the line headphone set, then I should have coughed up the money.

Other Thoughts: Very good headphones for the price, and perfectly adequate for day to day use. Audio quality is always going to be subjective. If you;re an audiophile that's very picky about sound, then you should probably move on. II found that these are fine for gaming and watching moves. I've owned headphones in the past that I thought had better bass response, but those headphone also cost me allot more. They do, what I'd consider to be, an average job at shielding out ambient sounds. If you're using these in a loud environment, then your probably going to have a to turn up the volume a little. I remember first getting these from Newegg, and I the build quality might suffer since the price was pretty low. But I've have these for over a year now, and use them daily. Zero issues with the cabling or frame. No sound issues either. The bottom of the right cup has a very small tear, but this can be caused by just regular use. In the end, I'm happy I bought these.

5 out of 5 eggsCaution if for iPad Air

Pros: I'm using it for video/show watching and it sounds awesome.
Not using it for music so I can't critique the bass issue some have.

Cons: This is my only complaint — It won't go all the way into the jack if an iPad Air is in a case. The plastic surrounding the plug is very wide so you'll need to enlarge the case's jack opening to have the plug go all the way in.

Other Thoughts: If you don't use a case for your iPad Air, it will fit perfectly.

4 out of 5 eggsHuge cans, great sound, not much bass.

Pros: The quality of sound on these headphones is excellent. Every note and sound is crisp and clear. The large cushions around the ears are quite comfortable and I have no trouble wearing them for a few hours at a time. They have a very neutral sound output.

Cons: I would not recommend these for someone who has a small head. They are very, very large. I have a rather small head and small ears, and they didn't sit very tightly on my head. If I shake my head around from side-to-side, they wiggle and slide around. Performing the "foam mod" helped tighten them up a bit. They're also very tall and look a bit odd.

Other Thoughts: Others have reported very good bass on these, however, it's not quite what I expected. Rather than a heavy thump, it's more of a punch. Think of the type of sound you make when you bang your fist against a wood table. The bass is certainly there, but it's not super heavy. I find that they struggle a little bit on reaalllyy deep bass.

With that being said, these are extremely neutral and excellent-sounding headphones. These would be great for all different types of music, those who are producing music, or those using some sort of mixer to alter the sound output.

These are very popular headphones for modding and if you're the DIY type, there's a lot of mods out there that claim to improve sound quality even more, which are fairly simple and worth trying.

5 out of 5 eggsAmazing Headphones

Pros: All around amazing. I have had these headphones for a while now and they have done great. They sound amazing and I put them through constant torment. Despite stepping on them and dropping them frequently, they still continue to work as if they were new.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: A great choice! Especially if you can get them on sale.

4 out of 5 eggsGreat until the end

Pros: -Great sound
-Comfy to wear
-Able to wear for long periods of time w/o pain
-Long cord
-Very Adjustable

Cons: -Broke after four months (Brother pulled on the cord between his hands, not very hard, didn't think anything of it. No damage whatsoever on the outside rubber casing of wire. Loses connection all the time now.)

Other Thoughts: Might buy another one. In college, strapped for cash. Great all around though! If you can afford it, definitely get it!!
