4 out of 5 eggsThey Work Good

Pros: Like the other person said, they fit on the head good and feel good. They have good sound for the money.

Cons: The mic is not the best but I bought them to IM so they work for that.

Other Thoughts: For 12 bucks they are a good deal.

4 out of 5 eggs

Pros: I've found that the earpieces are pretty comfortable, more so than other similarly-priced headsets I've owned. The mic works fine for me, mostly used for TeamSpeak.

Cons: Had some volume issues with the first of these headsets I've owned. This one had to be returned because the mic is billed as "telescoping" on the package, which it decidedly isn't (I broke it 5 hours after purchase). Plantronics sent me a new one, which broke when my cat stepped on it. Currently being held together by duct tape :)

Other Thoughts: Overall, you get what you pay for. I've had some durability issues, obviously, but they're not exactly anything that resulted from common usage. I'm not a sound expert, but the headphones sound fine to me and I've never had trouble with noise or distortion from the mic.

4 out of 5 eggsDecent

Pros: Good value for the price, lightweight, long cable, mic has decent sound pickup with Skype. Can be reversed so that mic is on either side of your face.

Cons: They aren't loud enough.

1 out of 5 eggsGarbage- Bad Microphone

Pros: I can hear sound from the speakers, but that's not why I bought them. I wanted to dub a voice narration track over home video using video editing software, so I needed a microhone.

Cons: The microphone is garbage. Defective wiring? I have to shout for any thing to be recorded, and there's lots of "hum".

I know the problem is not in my setup or computer, because I found a 20 year old condenser microphone in the basement, and the recorded volume was 10X louder than the Plantronics when plugged into the same mic port with the same volume settings.

Also, when I moved the boom mic out, I could hear feedback and crackling through the speakers, so it must be a bad wiring job.

Other Thoughts: Very disappointed in Plantronics. This is the 2nd item I've bought from them, and both have been poor.

I know the price wasn't too high, but it was 3X higher than the cheapest microphone out there. I paid the extra dollars thinking I was going to get "Plantronics quality". I guess that's what I got. Never again.

4 out of 5 eggsIt's ok

Pros: Cheap, not uncomfortable, mic sounds ok. It's also nice to have a long cord.

Cons: Just looks cheap. Appears that I could snap it in half if I was to get angry. The earphones are shaped a bit funny.

No in-line volume control is why I gave it 4 eggs. Having to go into the Windows Control Panel is annoying.

Other Thoughts: You get what you pay for. It's not a bad headset, but definitly not the best of quality.

5 out of 5 eggsExcellent

Pros: Excellent Audio, good microphone, comfortable to wear even on muti-day lan parties while still fitting snugly. Cheap

Cons: Wiring isn't dog-proof (but what is?)

Other Thoughts: I've owned a pair of these for 3 weeks and I think they're well worth the money. My little brother's dog chewed threw the wire on my first pair, disabling one speaker, so I bought another pair :)

4 out of 5 eggsGreat Product BUT!

Pros: Sound and mic quality exceptional.

Cons: Noise suppression seemed to stop working after 3 weeks - any least noise could've been heard on the receiving parties end, the mic does not stay put.

Other Thoughts: The mic joint could've been a bit more stick rather than loose. Works great overall.

5 out of 5 eggsHeadset is nice

Pros: Length of wire is nice and long, adjustable mic is nice.

Cons: I don't lke the fuzzy pads on my ear but nonetheless these are great.

Other Thoughts: Came on time.I still like UPS over FedEx.

5 out of 5 eggsGood quality & comfortable

Pros: I just purchased this headset elsewhere -- unfortunately at twice the NewEgg price! I'm very pleased with it. No unnecessary features (e.g. annoying volume controls buried in the cord), very comfortable earpads, LONG cord, and stylish angular design.

Cons: This headset doesn't have its own audio controls. I find those redundant (and potentially confusing) anyway since I use the controls on my computer or music player.

Other Thoughts: I've had great experience with Plantronics, this headset is no exception.
