4 out of 5 eggsGood economical headset

Pros: Well made, headset with good sound.

Cons: When new the head set is a bit tight, but not too uncomfortable. I still get a little squeeze on my ears near the back of the headset and they will get sore after a while.

1 out of 5 eggsPoor Quality Headsets

Pros: Decent sound, fairly comfortable.

Cons: Mic quality is mediocre, pics up a lot of ambient sound, but that's not the biggest problem.

The plastic frame may look sturdy but on two occasions with two different sets the frame broke just above where the headset adjusts. Only was to use them is to tape it together. These things were no doubt discontinued for this reason.

A third set lost sound in one of the speakers less than 4 months after purchase.

Other Thoughts: Worst of all Plantronics wouldn't accept newegg's invoice as a valid receipt so I could RMA any of the 3 sets we had, 2 of which were under warranty. What else am I supposed to use as proof of purchase from an online retailer? So not only are their headsets poor quality but their customer service is terrible. Never buying from them again.

4 out of 5 eggsIt works good

Pros: It is a good headset mic, it is comfortable, has lots of cushions, and it fits around your ear plus it looks nice.

Since it is an analog headset mic all you need to do is plug it in and the first time you do that you should mark it as the default recording device and it is set to work

Cons: Now it does have some cons, when I first got it and played a game I had to boost the volume by 10% and the next day I played an online game the microphone wouldnt pick up anything so I had to send the company a notice about this and they replaced it for me very quickly

So the only con is that the microphone broke once and with the replacement one I just had to boost the volume by 10%

Other Thoughts: The color is nice, mostly black with red highlights and the microphone itself slides and folds into the headset which is nice

5 out of 5 eggsvery nice

Pros: It fits very well around the ears and provides enough cushion that there is no pressure at all.

I can hear my friends( Mumble,Skype.) clearly with no problems, I come through loud and clear.

I play SWtOR and it does wonders for me, even in BF3 provides that sounds I need to locate someone near by and to zone in on them.

Cons: really none, Does use a materiel that does collect hair and so forth.
But it is not as bad as it was made out to be.

That the head band is made of plastic does worry me sometimes, but as a whole if taken care of I see no issue with it on that account.

Other Thoughts: for the money I spent this has done far better then I had hoped in many ways.

3 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Great sound quality. Comfy earphones with plenty of cushion. Great price.

Cons: Mic has become finicky on me recently, won't pick-up voice at certain positions. Have to move mic up and down until I notice the mic picking up my voice. Seems to vary from day to day as well.

5 out of 5 eggsLove it!

Pros: I *love* this headset! It fits over my ears perfectly and completely engulfs me in sound, while still allowing me to hear the outside. Plantronics knows what they're doing when it comes to headsets!

Cons: It leaks sound, but that's more of a third party's problem, not mine! The headset makes my head itch after a while, but those are the consequences of having long hair.

Other Thoughts: I'm not totally sure about the mic's volume. Its volume tends to vary whether I'm using Google Talk or Skype. This might just be a problem with my computer, though.

5 out of 5 eggsPurely amazing.

Pros: I've had this headset for over a year and I have had virtually no problems with it. It got the the point of where the headset was just getting smelly from being on my head for so long, lol. Only reason I bought a new headset. Shame this headset is not available anymore or I would have bought it again.

Cons: After a year the headset starting getting loose on my head. But that's after a WHOLE year!!!!

Other Thoughts: I was amazed at how crisp the mic was. Also music was amazing.

2 out of 5 eggsMic not receiving

Pros: Was cheap-ish. Mic extends and slips into headband when you don't need it.

Cons: The mic wouldn't receive anything below a yell. I maxed out all mic input settings and my friends still couldn't hear me. The few times it did work, there was a ridiculous amount of static.

Other Thoughts: Maybe this was a bum unit, but I don't plan on buying Plantronics again. The price/performance ratio was just not worth it.
