2 out of 5 eggsHas Some Drawbacks

Pros: Sound is great. It works beautifully when I can use it as either a media headset or communications headset. The range is as expected as well.

Cons: One major drawback is that it can not be used while charging. For all intents and purposes, it is non-existent while connected to the USB charging cable. This makes it difficult to answer calls on my MagicJack VoIP telephone system and to answer calls on Skype. If I receive a call while it is charging, I have to unplug it from the charging cable then manually initiate a connection between the headset and dongle before I can answer the call. This takes too much time and my calls usually end up going to voicemail before I can get the headset ready for use. I see this as a flaw in design. Normally Plantronics is THE company to go to for communication devices. They dropped the ball on this headset.

4 out of 5 eggsPlugged in and worked right away

Pros: Average sound. Produces adequate audio for what I paid for. I don't know if it is supposed to be noise canceling but it does a decent job at it.
I like the button configuration. Simple and easy to use
Worked right out of the box, I don't know if it installed drivers even, i plugged the dongle in, walked away to make coffee and when I came back it was working perfectly, didnt have to adjust anything.

Cons: It seems a little flimsy.
The range only works about ten yards, but I think that's what its advertised as so not really a con, just something to think about.
It's a little tight at first but I assume the more you wear it the better it fits.

Other Thoughts: If you're looking for a gaming headset, this one might not be the best, but it works for me while playing League just fine.

5 out of 5 eggsEasy plug and play, great range and quality

Pros: I've been hunting for good wireless headphones for years. Tried a few bad brands and thought I'd never get something good. But these ones are great.

- Very easy to plug and play (Win 7). The audio drivers on my laptop are a bit wonky, but I can plug the USB dongle in and out and the device is recognized in < 3 seconds.

- Easy to turn on. I didn't think this was actually a feature, but some other headsets are a pain even to turn on. It's like they're designed to pair once, and then always be connected. But this one I can turn on and off when I'm back and forth from my pc and around my house.

- Clean transmission. Yes, there's a tiny bit of static when there's no other sound. But it's very minor (and I'm pretty sensitive to that sort of thing). The audio itself is really good too. I'm not an audiphile, but it's more than enough for movies, gaming, and music.

- Battery life. I've been using these for 2-4 hours almost every night for 2 months now. I plug them in to charge every 2 days, and I've never run out of batteries.

Cons: - They fit pretty tightly and can get uncomfortable. That said, I don't mind and regularly keep them on for hours at a time.
- Not bluetooth connection. Rather a proprietary dongle. But it works really well.

Other Thoughts: I'd definitely recommend these. They're the kind people use at my job, that's how I found them. I chose them because I've witness many people use them for 8 hours a day for a year or more and they still work. And the price is really competitive too.

4 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Decent range after moving the wifi dongle up away from my tower/monitors. When it was plugged to the back of my tower only got about 20ft. When moved up to beside my monitor I got about 30ft and with it up on the hutch of my desk I get 40-45ft.

Battery life so far is good, get 8+ hours out of it. I work from and my first 2 days with it, it lasted my 8 hour shift plus a little gaming after. I charged it at night. But from previous reviews they say the battery life will just continue to diminish so I'm fully prepared to replace the battery in about a year.

Cons: Wish there was a battery level indicator so I knew if the battery was low and to plug it in to charge. Currently it just will drop with no warning and no auditory clue of why.
There also seems to be a slight delay in the microphone. When my wife and I are in a skype call and in the same room she notices the delay, something we didn't have when I was using a wired headset.

Other Thoughts: I have a friend with this same headset and he's had the mic when positioned up to mute not mute. Luckily nothing embarrassing happened but I wish there was an actual mute button at times.
And as I mentioned, wish there was a little app that could warn you when the battery was getting low. So that way I have time to plug in my wired headset as a backup while this one charges.

4 out of 5 eggsGreat for skype on windows, mac not so much

Pros: No interference from Wifi, long range, good battery

Cons: There is no sidetone / foldback on this model, and according to Plantronics rep, no model they make.

Other Thoughts: Im updating my review to 4 stars, as for us Mac users, Skype does not feature any kind of Sidetone option in software so you need to find hardware that does it. These DO NOT. And as such with 2 earphones, you cannot hear your own voice, and end up yelling/shouting. Again, on Windows there is a OS trick to get the sound from the mic to the headphones, but OSX doesnt have this and numerous apps Ive tried have too much delay.

5 out of 5 eggsGREAT Headset!!

Pros: Absolutely no interference from Wifi, sound is perfectly clear with no pops or clicks. Ive used bluetooth, and some other RF brand headsets with no satisfaction as my 2.4/5ghz router is on my desk, and I got a lot of pops, clicks, and extremely short drop outs. This headset, even in 2.4ghz, works perfectly. Keep the dongle away from USB3 though, as it seems to significantly decrease the range of the signal (10ft) where as I plugged it into a usb2 farther away and now I get full house floor coverage.

Cons: They are not Over the ear, they are On ear cans, so after a while they can get 'pinchy' as the headband for me isnt Quite wide enough but for normal work day they're fine

Other Thoughts: After a year of various technologies and options for a headset for my mac, these are finally what I was looking for. Wireless, mac skype integration that I can wear all day and not worry about snagging the cord on.

3 out of 5 eggsouch!

Pros: good range. Noise canceling

Cons: They are bulky and hurt my ears. They feel stifling and make my ears sweat.

Other Thoughts: I was looking for a good wireless option for my SIP phone users. We were using sennheisers but my users kept damaging the wires by getting them caught under their chairs. I think I will go with the Logitech h600 instead.

2 out of 5 eggsExtremely Flimsy

Pros: Very inexpensive. Sound is good, and the mic reception is good.

Cons: Extremely flimsy. The plastic making up this headset is very cheap, and just holding it in your hands for a minute you can tell that it won't last long, even if handled carefully. Even the pressure of the headphones pressing against my ears feels like enough to shatter the whole thing,

Other Thoughts: If I had seen a pair of these in person before ordering, I would have gone with the Logitech version instead. It's also very flimsy, but slightly less so.
