5 out of 5 eggsGood purchase

Pros: Excellent range, superb fidelity. Using with Dragon NaturallySpeaking version 13 and listen to music/TV through computer line-in.

Exceeds specifications – Tested dictating and listening to audio from the furtherest I can get in my house. It still accurately dictates and receives high-quality audio from that distance (over 65 feet).

Cons: Not a big deal but wish it could be used while charging.

Other Thoughts: Wasn't sure when I ordered, that this wireless headset/microphone would work with Dragon NaturallySpeaking. Recognizes dictation without difficulty – Exceeds my expectations.

Using Windows 8.1. No drivers needed. Follow the instructions for installing and you won't have a problem. Anyone that has problems with this it either has a defective unit or has not followed the simple installation instructions.

If you plug the USB receiver into a port on the rear of your computer the range will probably be significantly reduced. I plugged mine into an external USB hub, positioned for easy access, at desk level on the front of my desk.

2 out of 5 eggsNot for gamers

Pros: This is a very decent headset for light to medium practical usage for the office, playing some music, or talking a little bit on skype.
It is on-ear but more comfortable than most alternatives

Cons: Your ears will hurt eventually and this is not intended for heavy usage by a gamer, hence my two eggs because I was frustrated that I got something at a $100 price emark that wasn't really suited for my needs just cuz it was wireless
The battery dies on me every session while I'm playing and I have to switch audio devices in the middle of things, it feels like less than 6 hours.
It was the only wireless solution readily available at my aafes exchange.

Other Thoughts: If you want a good gaming headset invest in an Astro. They have an a38 bluetooth headset with twice the battery life, or just get a wired 140 so you never have to worry about charge and you get over-the-ear comfort.

5 out of 5 eggsSounding right

Pros: I have a big head and big ears, and I was used to the headphones I have which cover my entire ear, so it took a little bit to get used to these, but they are comfortable nonetheless, the sound is better than my 100 dollar sennheiser studio headphones. With my thyroid / pituitary gland problems, i look and sound like im 18ish, even though I'm 34, my old mic made me sound even younger, this mic makes me sound how i actually sound, which is nice, to not sound like a girly man lol.

Cons: None

4 out of 5 eggsVery satisfied.

Pros: Comfortable.
Sounds quality is good and i have been told the input quality is fantastic.
The ability to mute your mic by flipping it up is fantastic.
Battery life is great. Roughly 6 hours on a 30 min charge.

Cons: Dongle is large.
Occasional robotic feedback for short periods of time.
Can't charge while using.

Other Thoughts: For the price it is a pretty decent value. I have had and used constantly for 2 years and the only wear and tear it has shown is around the ear cushion which has worn a bit to show the material under. If I was on a budget and couldn't upgrade substantially I would buy these again

4 out of 5 eggs2 years then gone

Pros: wireless feature allowed me to roam the house and still chat with friends using volume controls to key up on TS3/Ventrillo. mic muted by putting boom in the up position. sounds great.

Cons: cant charge while using. battery life is a bit to short if u plan on using for more than 5-6 hours a day. mic boom is mechanical causing wires to break making the mic to stop working. volume keys are the only keys usable for hotkeys forcing you to have the volume all the way up and manually turning individuals down on TS3 or Ventrillo.

Other Thoughts: i had this headset for exactly 2 years before the mic broke. speakers still work perfectly and sound great really sturdy headset otherwise.

4 out of 5 eggsDurable Headset for the price

Pros: • Under $100
• Huge Drivers
• Great quality, mic and drivers
• Wireless, good in most envirionments to about 25 feet, 40 is a lucky number.
• Durable for what it is
• Great Battery life. Will survive a 10 hour shift at a call center if charged for 30 minutes mid-shift

• Have owned 2 sets, Both have outlasted my nearly 3 years service at the call center

Cons: • Dongle easily damaged if you aren't careful. NOT FOR USE IN LAPTOPS THAT ARE USED IN YOUR LAP

• Cannot charge while in use

• Heavy, Will get used to weight after 6-8 months

Other Thoughts: I worked at a call center for nearly 3 years, and owned 2 of these headsets for 2.25 years of that service. They have survived 10 hour days if charged during the lunch break, otherwise you're pushing it.

Thought the battery quit in one headset after 2 years, turns out my old charging method was broken (Used old Mini-USB charger for cell phone instead of computer USB Charge) Charging by computer made the last one I left in tact work fine. The other one probably wasn't even dead (Oh well, spare parts)

Good for gaming, although they don't offer more than simple Stereo. True gamers go for 5.1 or 7.1 surround. Great for work if you are on a PC all day.

For those of you who use VoIP Phone service, This is compatible with Bria 3 and at least One proprietary softphone I used to work well with, which is based off the Bria Platform. Works awesome for you small-business owners using VoIP.

Oh and one more thing. the Dongle looks like an older style USB Flash drive. Don't leave it in your car in sight, someone will take it thinking it's a USB Flash drive. Don't ask me how I know, but I'm willing to bet that low-life was rather disappointed to find that there was nothing in it :) trollolol

5 out of 5 eggsPerfect for the Price

Pros: Relatively cheap wireless headset with a few extra buttons that can send keystrokes.
Good range: only when I'm towards the other end of my house does it go out of range, if my computer and USB dongle were towards the center instead of one side of the house, I'd probably have full coverage.
Great quality audio (for me, but I'm not an audiophile)
Fast battery charging as others have said about 2 hours to fully charge.
Automatic mic muting when the boom is up is nice, though can be easy to forget you have it up, but you can't ask the manufacturer/designer to do something about that...

Cons: Can't use it and charge the headset at the same time, but several wireless headsets do this as well and should you really be using them/gaming for more than 6-8 hours straight?

Extra buttons (Play/Pause and Next) aren't configurable. Appears the driver takes a best guess as to if you have Windows Media Player or possibly Winamp open (haven't tried these out though) and sends/emulates a keyboard stroke. if it can't figure it out it defaults to some letters like P and N or was it G.

Other Thoughts: While you can't configure the headset buttons, you can usually remap keys on games to recognize these key presses (honestly how many of you use the P or N buttons in a game). This can allow you for instance to walk away from the computer during a travelling portion or other boring task and still do a few controls as you can still hear what's going on in the game. If something bad happens you can get back to your computer to handle the situation. Though the usefulness of this is circumstantial to the type/game you're playing.

Overall for the price and its features I'm more than happy with it, and would recommend it to anyone looking for a good wireless headset that doesn't hurt your wallet.

3 out of 5 eggsConsider spending $40 more for something better.

Pros: Not very expensive, has decent range, will last a year if used all day every day.

Cons: Battery needs to be replaced after a year, bluetooth dongle is large and tends to be damage prone, Headset radio fails after 1 year of consistent use.

Other Thoughts: For the money, a Logitech G930 is better in every way. Consider a $100 budget for a headset if you plan on using it day in and out.
