5 out of 5 eggsA real bargain

Pros: Sound quality from the headphones is excellent. Even for listening for stereo music. Mic yields good sound quality too. Great deal for the price.

Cons: The headphones provide dual 3mm mic/headphone plugs, which is a problem for smartphones or new laptops, which provide a single combo mic/headphone jack.

The phones are rather tight on my head ... this could be a real problem for someone with a big head.

Other Thoughts: I picked up one of these: " Headset adapter for headsets with separate headphone / microphone plugs - 3.5mm 4 position to 2x 3 position 3.5mm M/F " - to adapt from this headset to a 3.5mm combo mic/headphone jack on my Win7 ThinkPad laptop.

With this setup, I use the mic gain setting on high, also in Control Panel > Sound > Recording > Mic (Realtek) > Properties > Levels I set Mic to 100% and Mic Boost to +20dB (the max.) Works very well with Cisco Jabber and I assume it would with any VoIP app like Skype, Lync etc.

1 out of 5 eggsVery disappointed

Pros: Lightweight, comfortable, affordable.

Cons: Cheaply made, not durable in the least.

Not USB, but that can't be expected on everything.

Other Thoughts: I bought two of these boys for Christmas in 2011 and in less than 3 months both of these headphones fell apart. They weren't under heavy use; hell, they didn't even come out of the box until two months after they got them, and they couldn't stay held together. For $20 I expect much higher quality and durability in my headphones. Save your money and buy a different pair of headphones; these ones will break on you.

4 out of 5 eggsworks fine

Pros: Basic headset with decent sound. Good if you want to use your headset jacks, instead of USB. Cheap enough that you can just buy another one if you break them.

Cons: Only con is that when new, they are a little tight. After some time, the headband loosen up though.

Other Thoughts: This is my second set. First set lasted over a year, after dropping it and rolling over the wires with my desk chair a number of times, it finally gave out.

I would buy again.

5 out of 5 eggsGood Headset

Pros: Good sound quality
Easy to switch between computers with analog
Low cost

Cons: Not amazing recording quality, some static and very quiet whistling. Nothing that isn't filtered out by teamspeak though.
Wires tend to break sometime after 6 months

Other Thoughts: Buy a couple of them so you can use the new ones after they break. They're really cheap so the wires breaking isn't such a big problem. Most headsets that I've owned have died after a similar period of time anyway.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat

Pros: I had this headset for about 9 months before the attachment between the headset and the wire started to pull apart slightly which lead me to this page to get another.
This is easily the best headset I've had. I love the analog since I switch between my laptop and my desktop often. The quality is clear and it works well for voice chat.
The price is low which is always nice too.

Cons: It broke. 9 months is a reasonable lifespan for a headset imo.

5 out of 5 eggsVery niceee

Pros: Great sound for bot outbound and inbound
Durability is really excellent for now, nothing broke off
Very versatile, you can flip the mic anywhere you want
Little volume control device on the cord is really helpful and it has a clip, so I usually clip it on to my shirt or my pecs <jk lol
Really cheap price!
Great overall

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: The mic has to be close to your face or otherwise inbound will be poor (obviously)

1 out of 5 eggsBroke to Pieces in my Hand

Pros: Zot, zero, crud.

Cons: I can't really give you any as when I was extricating the headset from the surrounding plastic one ear bud fell off (Gluing it eliminated its twist and turning ability and the microphone did the same. I had to give it one star because that is the lowest alternating. Plantronics quality has gone into the dumper and this product ought to be avoided at all "cost."
