3 out of 5 eggsNice but Cheap Construction

Pros: Good sound quality, nice microphone

Cons: Cheap plastic for the wiring, will break at points of contact with volume control/left headphone/splitter. Right headphone has a nice tapered guard against breakage, which is absent on the left (the one with the mic attached) for some reason. Plastic for ear tabs on the left side will permanently stretch, making them slip off and making the microphone side hard to get to stay in.

4 out of 5 eggs

Pros: its a microphone and i got it for free with the purchase of my soundcard

Cons: it loses an egg because it is really cheaply made. It works and i dont see it stop working but honestly i dont know how to use it correctly because u have to jam half of it in your ear to make it stay on your head, currently its taped to my keyboard. I looked the item up it says originally it is a 30 dollar microphone, if anyone payed money for this microphone they are out of their mind.

Other Thoughts: it gets 4 eggs because it works, but it is a really cheap microphone no one should pay money for this

4 out of 5 eggsFollow up 1 month+ later

Pros: I've been using these daily for over a month now. Still super clear mic and super clear sound.

The mic is much clearer than my plantronics USB over the head headset.

Still great sound, my low volume issue was actually a setting in windows audio devices. Switching from USB to these lowered a setting. No more low volume in games.

I love how my head stays super cool with these on, really great now that summer is hitting.

Cons: The short cord is the only con I have with this set, that's my problem though, these are designed for a laptop. I'm using them plugged into the top of my spedo advance case which I have on top of my desk which leaves me just enough cord to game. I'm still getting extensions and with this low price I can afford to buy the extensions.

Other Thoughts: Check out the users who claim "high understanding" and read their reviews. words like stupid etc... I'm sure you truly have a high technical understanding...

Again, spend a minimal amount of time using the right ear buds etc. and you will love these. I mean have any of these users with issues of not staying in your ear ever used in ear ear buds before? That is why there are different size buds. If you still can't fit them, your ears aren't made for in ear ear buds. That's not plantronics fault and doesn't make these stupid. These are supposed to go IN your ear and seal off your ears like ear plugs to block sound. Deep in your ear canal.

2 out of 5 eggsNot at all usable

Pros: Nothing

Cons: i. Very bad design, hence will not stick to ears.
ii. Very low voice.

Other Thoughts: Though the price is very less.. its not worth to buy this peace. I bought this one as I had good impression on this brand.

2 out of 5 eggsPlantronics 480 Headset

Pros: Decent sound quality and mic works fairly well.

Cons: I am used to in-ear head phones from using the Klipsch customs, but these are far from it. The Plantronics do not like to stay in my ear and even if they do, it becomes painful after 20 minutes or so.

Other Thoughts: My recommendation is to spend a little more and get something better

3 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Cheap, has a nice leather case, brought from newegg, and fast shipping

Cons: well first off the right side has no sound and the mic doesn't work.

Other Thoughts: I don't really know if it is good because i only have one ear pieces that work. Maybe i got a bad one, but i wont risk buying it again to see.

4 out of 5 eggsGreat sound

Pros: Great sound, three different cushions for your ears and a built-in microphone.

Cons: At retail a little pricey

Other Thoughts: I got three of these on when they were on sale for under 10 bucks.

4 out of 5 eggsNot bad

Pros: Portable, with its own case. Easy to use with a volume control and mute button. GREAT voice quality, and above average audio quality.

Cons: SHORT SHORT SHORT SHORT CORD. My desktop is right on my floor, with plugs in the front, and it is still not a option. However extension plugs are only 5 bucks each. Also the headset, with the default plugs, will not stay in your ear.....

Other Thoughts: However inside the set, there is a nifty little plug that is kinda spongy and waxy which will keep the headset in just fine. Everyone complaining about it falling out must have missed this attachment.

For it's only real con, the short cord, I still love it. I got in for cheap, during a sale, but would suggest it for anyone who needs a headset for their laptop, even at full price.

However I don't suggest it for anyone who uses it with a hand held device of some kind, since even with the other attachment, it can fall out if your walking.

Final word? My friends practically go out of their way so that I can be using this headset instead of the other, communicating through other VoIP services besides the game we are playing, since I can't connect it to my desktop but I can use it on my laptop. Sound complicated? Well the voice quality is so good, we are willing to put up with jumping through those hoops.

5 out of 5 eggsNOTHIN BETTER UNDER 100$

Pros: great sound ,great mic! NICE CASE

Cons: SHORT CORD , MADE FOR LAPTOPS! buy extenssion cord OR usb DEVICE

Other Thoughts: I have 4 of these, I allso have SHURE "3 series" ear buds they cost 100$ everyone that buyes thes say they sound bad no bass! SAME as those that bought the "e-3,s" U need to push them in DEEP!! install them correctly!

Just like any HARDWARE if you don,t install them correctly they will not work correctly

U need to find to correct GASKET,s that will work with your ears NOONE is the same!

then push them in DEAP cut of all "AIR" preasure to ear,s THEN like all HIGHEND EAR DEVICES they will ROCK YOUR WORLD

if you don,t install them correctly YOUR MISSING THE GREAT AUDIO they produce!

these compare with my SHURE "3 SERIES" buds that cost 100$
