4 out of 5 eggsBest stick in this price range

Pros: I have been using this stick for a week and it feels better than a lot of high priced sticks. Holds calibration. Nicely weighted, requires a little bit of pressure to move it yet not too much. Doesn't feel cheap. Lot of buttons. Easily configurable in Aces High. This is one of the few sticks that can be converted to left hand use. I didn't use that option but it is there.

Cons: The buttons are badly placed for dogfighting. Only one four direction switch for views. Could be better designed, however for the price it has a better feel than many other sticks costing a lot more. It is a little slender in the hands though if your used the bigger sticks like the CH Fighterstick etc.But for some people that might be a plus.

Other Thoughts: I have been playing flying games since the 1990s so I have a lot of experience with joysticks. Thrustmasters, CH Products, Saitek etc. Everything from the entry level to the top end sticks. Before this stick I was a die hard CH products user. But this stick just has the feel. It is not as light as a CH nor as heavy as previous Thrustmaster sticks I have used.
Good solid stick. Probably the best I have ever tried at this price range. I was using a CH Products Fighterstick prior to this one. And the only thing that lacks versus the fighterstick is the buttons.

5 out of 5 eggsPrecise

Pros: If you learn how to calibrate these babies, they are very accurate and precise. This shows when compared to other joysticks in Star Citizen.

Cons: Buttons don't have the best feedback but for the price it doesn't matter.

2 out of 5 eggsGarbage

Pros: Relatively cheap, best option in a list of poor options.

Cons: Cheaply made. Fails within 4-6 months of use. First one failed in 5 months with the X-axis not being detected, second failed after 4 months with rotation axis detection being erratic.

Other Thoughts: The state of PC gaming joysticks is sad right now (Nov 2014), and this stick is a decent option. Just be prepared to buy a new one every 6 mos or so.

5 out of 5 eggsExcellent stick for right/left use

Pros: This stick is a great stick. This stick centers absolutely perfectly. When centered it reads 0/0 every time unlike some other joysticks out there (cough, X52).

Setting this up for left handed use was very easy. Several screws and the stick was ready to go.

Cons: The buttons on the base are somewhat mushy, and the throttle feels somewhat cheap.

No way to disable the green LEDs in the base.

Pressing button 2 (bottom center on top of stick) could be awkward at first.

Other Thoughts: I use this stick for games that support simultaneous joystick and mouse inputs, and also for dual joysticks (with an X52).

2 out of 5 eggs

Pros: fast delivery, easy left handed use and set up.

Cons: cant change the sensitivity on the joystick. also didn't come with any disc for upgrading the software. trying to play games that use the joystick is like trying to move a brick with a straw. this joystick is not for games that need minor change in movement.

Other Thoughts: being left handed its getting harder to find a good joystick and a friend told me about this one. (he is right handed and uses a sidewinder). would be nice if it came with something to change the sensitivity on it, other wise i prob keep it.

5 out of 5 eggsEasy to use and durable

Pros: Very easy to setup and use.

More durable than it looks.

Cool green LED effect.

Good responsiveness from the gimble.

Optional grips for some customization.

Cons: LED effect is almost always on, the slightest tremor in another country makes it go.

4 out of 5 eggsGreat Value Joystick

Pros: All the funcitonality and prgramable buttons I could need for handling BF3 flight controls (primary use).

Cons: Its more a knock on myself for the desk surface I'm using it on (glass), but the feet aren't very good at keeping the base from moving around. If it came with different feet to chose from like suction cup mounts, that would easily fix the problem.

Other Thoughts: Didn't give it the full blessing becuase I felt the button layout on the stick itself could of had ergonomically placed some buttons differently like my old Logitech Joystick, which was both cheaper and as funictional as the thurstmasters. Overall great stick though and would recommend to anyone looking for the best bang for the buck stick for BF3.

5 out of 5 eggsGood for the price.

Pros: Durable, great for precision, heavy base, smooth movement, was cheaper when I bought it.

Cons: Throttle was always a little loose, but has never really been a problem. The real flaw with this stick is the green light at the base will turn on if the stick is the slightest bit off center, since there is no deadzone. Eventually after a few months of heavy use your likely to encounter it not fully centering itself. The magnets work great at this, but not perfect. I had this issue for a while, and quickly realized it was occurring only if I let it center itself from a certain direction. Eventually I stopped encountering this issue altogether.

Other Thoughts: If you don't have unreasonable expectations, and handle it with care, this is a great stick for the price. I've had it for just over a year of moderate to heavy use, and it still works good as new.

2 out of 5 eggsCalibration Issues

Pros: Looks nice, not too heavy, not too light. Good features. Very sensitive.

Cons: Despite the vaunted Hall Effect sensors, eventually the calibration went bad. The green light is incredibly annoying at night, because almost anything will trigger it and keep it on. It's not like the light has a purpose.

Other Thoughts: Considering that this isn't exactly a cheap joystick, I expected more for the price.

4 out of 5 eggsGood for starters

Pros: Cool LED, right and left hand adjustable

Cons: The base of the stick (hand rest) became a little wobbly

Other Thoughts: If not for the fact that the hand rest is wobbly then this is the best stick i have used
