1 out of 5 eggs$20 earmuffs

Pros: Sleek design, comfortable fit. Adjustable mic arm.

Cons: For $20, my expectations weren't high. Out of the box, plugged them in, turned up the volume on the PC and the volume control on the headset to max. Sound was barely audible. If you don't like anything over a whisper, then these might be acceptable. Overall, highly disappointed.

(PS. I think the onboard speaker on my motherboard is louder)

4 out of 5 eggsUnbeatable for the price

Pros: Good sound quality for the price
Very durable
Good connectors
Good quality on the mic
Long Cord
In line volume with mute

Cons: Mic went out after less than 2 years

Other Thoughts: I purchased this headset in November of 2012, last week the mic went out on me, just loud buzzing on skype and curse. I've had 50-70 dollar headsets that didn't last this long, and I'm pretty rough on them with a 5 year old around the house, and a 125 lb dog that will occasionally decide she wants to lay on them. I'll be buying another to replace it.

2 out of 5 eggsWorth about what you paid

Pros: Cheap and sound pretty good for the price. Tons of bass when new.

Cons: Cheap. I bought these from newegg about a year ago and have had nothing but problems with the sound balance since brand new. The left phone is louder than the right and touching the volume control can make the right side sound go in and out. Annoying to say the least.

Other Thoughts: You get what you paid for. These aren't worth the cost of shipping to send back, so I kept them.

2 out of 5 eggsYou get what you paid for.

Pros: Sounded good considering the price
Mic wasn't bad either
Cheap

Cons: Durability. A headset is worthless if it doesn't work. After about 6 months the left speaker was blown out and would no longer work. Prior to this I had noticed that overall sound quality had started to degrade. This is what you should expect from a cheap headset.

I personally do not find this particular headset to be very comfortable either. My ears would start to ache after only an hour of using it.

Other Thoughts: This is fine if you are strapped for cash and need a headset for whatever reason. It's fine while it's actually working. Just don't expect it to last for very long. I'd personally recommend saving up for a quality headset.

4 out of 5 eggsPretty good for their price

Pros: -Good sound quality for $20

-Sturdy construction, overall seem like they could take quite a bit of abuse.

-Fairly high quality recording from the microphone, also with steel tubing.

Cons: - Personally find the bass to be a bit too much on these

- These headphones don't get very loud. If you're looking for that, look elsewhere.

Other Thoughts: Happy with the $20 I spent on them, a bit disappointed that they don't have a strong sound driver.

Overall I would recommend purchasing these for various VOIP's and gaming, as well as music if you aren't like myself and enjoy very loud music.

3 out of 5 eggsOkay

Pros: Price
Solid

Cons: Comfort
In line Mute has alot of static

Other Thoughts: I replaced a pair of turtle beaches with this headset and so far its worked out great. My only complaints are the inline mute function sends alot of static when using VOIP so I just use the in program mute and when I first got it the ear muffs were woefully thin and uncomfortable but I replaced those with the plush ones from my broken turtle beaches. Works well now.

1 out of 5 eggsMic broke realllll quick.

Pros: Only pros are that the sound is fine for a $20 headset.

Cons: Broke really quick.
What happened is that whenever I talk my mic echoes itself. I have talked with some people who are experts on this and they all say that the mic is bad. So have at it.

Other Thoughts: :(

4 out of 5 eggs  Good headset for short sessions

Pros: Good headset, sound is good for $20 and mic works just fine. Also cable is plenty long for moving around while using

Cons: Ears start to hurt after about an hour ears cups not quite big enough

Other Thoughts: Overall I like this headset but if you are looking to use for long gaming sessions look elsewhere

1 out of 5 eggsDon't even work, ridiculous return costs

Pros: Looks alright

Cons: Well, this headset worked for about 2 hours. After that, the microphone would not work no matter how much I messed with the settings, plugged into different audio jacks, etc. Since it was a brand new headset I figured it had to be my computer. But every other microphone I tried worked, so it's this product. Extremely miffed.

Other Thoughts: It costs $28 to ship this back to newegg to return it. So basically I am stuck eating the cost of the headset and shipping.. Do not buy this headset.

5 out of 5 eggsBest value I can imagine

Pros: The sound is so good, I continually take them off my ears to make sure my real speakers aren't going. The music playback through these is much better than you would expect for $20. Of course, I don't turn my headphones up very loud so if you are part of a decibel rebel club, this assessment may not apply to you.

Cons: as much comfort as you can hope for at this price, but to be honest there are more comfortable choices. I have a pretty big head- I'm 6'5" and 280 lbs, and my head matches that size. If you are an average size person I doubt they will be a problem! I can certainly deal with it an hour or two at a time though.

Sidenote: My fitted size is about 7 7/8 in case you want to reference that for size. Size 8 and up will feel a little pressure around the ears for sure.

Other Thoughts: Assuming these last two years, I will be buying them over and over, really good product for the cash. And if my dog eats them I'm not out superstar $$$!
