1 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Looks good.

Cons: Stopped working after 1 month.

Other Thoughts: They worked okay for about 1 month, then the volume decreased to the point where you can barely hear them.

4 out of 5 eggsStays in ear better than buds

Pros: I like the flexible ear hooks and the plethora of inserts allowing you to customize the fit for each ear. The different length cords are nice. The long cord easily allows me to plug into my phone resting in my pocket or plugged into a piece of exercise equipment with plenty of length to spare. The medium length cord is great for using a arm-strap.

Cons: The microphone, volume/music control is only on the long cord which is a shame.

5 out of 5 eggsBest Fit, Amazing Sound

Pros: I have done a lot of research and bought a lot of earbud headphones. These seem to be the perfect balance of great sound and comfort for working out.

The sound is amazing. Crisp highs and mids and pronounced lows.
The flat tangle-free cord works perfectly. I wad them up and throw them in my pocket just like everyone else does, and unlike all the other buds Ive owned, these aren't a birds nest when I pull them out.
The fit is the real pinnacle of these buds. It does take some time to figure out which tips will work best for your ears, but once you do, its worth it. These earbuds will not come out with even the most strenuous of activities. They are also very lightweight so you can wear them for very long periods of time. Since the cord is flat and thick, you are less likely to catch it on anything, therefore eliminating those times when you suddenly feel a pull on your ears.

Cons: I have read reviews about the iphone controls giving out easily, but that is not a function I use and therefore I can not properly evaluate that feature. But, if you are looking for a great set of buds and the iphone controls are not important, then I highly recommend these!

3 out of 5 eggssound good, but watch out for this

Pros: sound pretty good, lots of different ear plugs for different sizes, different uses, etc.
Stay on well as you pull a full face motorcycle helmet over.

Cons: volume button/microphone part started shorting out. Can only hear in the left earbud, unless I gently squeeze the volume button, then it sounds fine, until I let go of the button, then it's back to left ear only. Emailing polk audio next to see what's next.

Other Thoughts: I've tried a few now to use riding my motorcycle, and these are the best I can find so far. I hope the mic/vol button won't force me to move on.

1 out of 5 eggssathya

Pros: fits well

Cons: I purchased this headphone thinking it will fit fine and sound better for my sport activities. But, the problem is this headphone volume reduces and gradually goes to mute for every shake on headphone cable when I run and that annoys me a lot after spending this much money, hoping it will be good one and totally not satisfied at all.

4 out of 5 eggsaverage

Pros: lots of choices for eurbud size, cord length.

good quality output, if you get the drivers properly oriented in your ear.

Cons: still haven't found an earbud choice among those provided in the package that stays secure and oriented properly in my ear during workouts.

Other Thoughts: super fast newegg shipping.

4 out of 5 eggsSound = Decent - Usability = A+

Pros: With the extra length cords (one with built in controls) and multiple sized/styled ear pieces, there shouldn't be anyone that can't get these to fit properly. The piece that goes over the ear is adjustable and molds to the shape you need. The cord is of the flat variety and does not transmit noise to the ears which is a plus for fitness applications. Overall, they are very user friendly and adaptable to multiple needs. I love the orange/white color scheme too.

Cons: The sounds is decent but not great. To me (not an audiophile), the sound is a little muddy and on an iPod there's a limited set of EQ presets that don't do a lot to clean this up. Maybe other devices are more robust to dial in the sound better. For use during exercise though, there's no need to be overly picky about the sound quality though so this may only bother the an*l retentive crowd. For comparison, I owned (one ear stopped working and are no longer on the market) a pair of Etymotic ER6i's which definitely have a better range and clarity of sound but they aren't nearly good for fitness/active environments and so belong in a different audio headphone category. The UltraFit 3000's would not be my first choice for audio at home/office/commuting because there are other cheaper and better sounding alternatives. For fitness/active use, I have not seen a better alternative.

Other Thoughts: I've owned Polk speakers for autos and home audio and have never been disappointed. They seem to make good quality products as a rule. The variable cable lengths and variety of ear pieces are really the strong point of this product.
