Pros: Sound is WAY better than my Logitech G30's. But slightly less good than my Sony MDR-V6's. Earpads do not flake (after 6 months of daily use). Have survived drops on a hardwood floor. Mic lever has retained its stickiness. Mic quality is good. Cord is long. Very little ear fatigue.

Cons: Not enough documentation. There's a little button with the alpha symbol on it on the inline control. No idea what it does. I've looked at all the materials that the headphones came with. I've experimented. It is absurd that the purpose of this button is not easily discovered.

Pros: Worked for under 4 months, was great. Sound is okay, not much sound cancellation.

Cons: Broken mic and poor customer service. If you'd like a full description, I'd recommend going to the white version of this headset. Because I posted a full review there.

Other Thoughts: There are better headsets from more reputable companies for less. Buy elsewhere.

Pros: Pros...they feel amazing, super comfortable. Decent mic, not amazing. Look cool.

Cons: Cons...too many for a 150$ tag. They aren't sound proof. I could hear my quiet air conditioner through them with no music, and everyone else could hear whatever I was listening to.

Mic isn't that amazing, friends said I sounded pretty low.

No protection on the cord.

My #1 con is that they simply don't go up very loud. There is almost no bass and if you like to listen to loud music like I do you won't be happy.

Gonna return them tomorrow and try out a different pair. Pretty disappointing.

Other Thoughts: I have no issues about a "cat eating cord" or my microphone not working like some of these other guys. My headset works great as intended. Very comfortable too. I have had 2 Turtle Beach headsets and both have hurt my right ear after awhile of wearing it. This Astro headset I can wear all day and it doesn't hurt my ear.

Pros: The most comfortable headset I have ever worn. Plug and play.

Cons: The only con I have on this headset thus far has to do with how the mic is connected to the headset. It is nice that you can move it from left ear piece to right ear piece, however, it is very loose and rotates up and down very easily. I have a feeling this could be problematic in the long run as it will get loose and sway way down. Time can only tell.

Other Thoughts: Would highly recommend!

Pros: Decent quality sound and mic performance. Nothing special.

Cons: The most delicate cord known to man. Animals cannot resist chewing on this cord.

After spending as much on cords as I did on the headphones, the whole thing is now in the trash and I will never touch another Astro product. My cat can't resist chewing the cord. It is only this cord. He does not chew anything else in the house. When I asked Astro about a braided cord I was given an excuse.

Other Thoughts: No excuse for cheap construction. The cord is cheap and soft. I'll purchase a Razer or Steelseries headset before I'll ever buy another Astro product.

Pros: comfy.

Cons: The mic is broken already, the audio is fairly quite.

Pros: Comfortable, 7.1 Surround Sound, blocks out nearby sound, clear mic, works with my Xbox and PC no problem, best headset in the world...

Cons: Mic needs to be reconfigured, may be very sensitive at first.

Pros: I debated on getting these headphones for several weeks before taking the plunge. There are a lot of nice headsets out there in this price range. So far the sound quality is very good and because I am using it with my Sound Blaster X-fi sound card I was able to save a few bucks and not buy the extra amp as an option. It did take some time to set them up and make sure they were working correctly with my sound card. I am betting that the amp would have made the setup easier. I have been playing Farcry3 with them and the headphones really did add a new layer to game play. I can tell where the badies are now. :-)

Cons: So far none.

Other Thoughts: I am concerned about quality in the long. A lot of the moving parts on the headphones are plastic which is not uncommon but again at the price I hope to have them working for many years to come and I have been disapointed in the past. I find myself stressing over every detail to insure I am not crimping the cable or bending the headphones out too far etc. Very nice headphones and I want them to last and last and....
