1 out of 5 eggsHorrible Value

Pros: Cosmetics, Social item (like iPhone etc)

Cons: Horrible Boomy Bass (sounds like a boombox), overpriced, my Q701 were the same price and actually sound amazing, these Beats Studios are really bad. It sounds like a pair of $60 dollar Grado SR60i. Again the problem is Beats are overpriced in general, the Solo's are a even worse value. I have owned all the prices except the Lady Gaga ones. If you have $299> to spend on headphones, get some Grados or AKG Q701, or get some Ultrasones and you'll hear so much bass if thats your thing. If you want a Hi-Fi true audiophile sound, get the Sennheiser HD650 or HD600, or perhaps the Beyerdynamic DT880. The Sennheisers and beyerdynamics are neutral though.

Other Thoughts: Not recommended unless you want to show off the headphones, and show your stupidity, not to mention you spent $299 on a pair of headphones that sound like $60> Grados. For half the price get some Ultrasones if you want lots of bass. If you want a less bass heavy headphone and a more "fun" headphone get the AKG Q701. If you want a neutral audiophile sound, get the Sennheiser HD600/HD650 headphone, as well as the Beyerdynamic DT880, which is also neutral.
