2 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Comfy, good long cable, good sound

Cons: fragile cable

Other Thoughts: Bought 2 of these, one for my wife and 1 for me. I was initially impressed with the quality of the sound and how well they fit. My wife's cable broke within a few weeks (she rolled over it with her chair) and mine suffered the same fate after about 3 months. I would buy again at the price that I paid but would probably not plug them in the front audio of the computer case again.

4 out of 5 eggsGood headphone for the price

Pros: Decent sound quality considering the price
Very comfy for the head and ears

Cons: The microphone is not as good though. It's ok for conversations between computers, but if you intend to use it with Skype to call phones, people are going to complain that they feel you're speaking from afar.

3 out of 5 eggsI wish it had lasted longer

Pros: -Mic quality was nice while it lasted
-Everything I wanted for a very cheap price

Cons: -Mic broke after about a month, probably only used it for about 10 hours
-Headphones went after about 3 months, it wasn't the actual headphones that died, but the connector between the headphones and the computer

Other Thoughts: -I really liked it until it stopped working

1 out of 5 eggsNo good.

Pros: Looked cool and the mic quality was descent at best.

Cons: Output sound quality was less than satisfying. Left speaker flickered in and out from time to time. All this in the first 2 weeks of having it. Then in the 3rd week of having it, the cord fell out of the volume/mute control rendering the whole thing useless.

3 out of 5 eggsUpdate 8/9/2012

Pros: Was very comfortable, used for many, many gaming sessions some approaching the 12 - 14 hour mark.

Cons: Stopped working.

Other Thoughts: Finally bit the dust, it was fine, never had a single problem and the other day I jump on vent and the microphone wasn't responding, and the right ear didn't work at all. This headset was babied as is all my gaming peripherals and it never game any trouble, just decided to stop working. I understand things don't last forever but given how it was taken care of it seems very odd to lose the mic and right ear all at once. Was owned for approx. 8 months.

3 out of 5 eggsYou get what you pay for

Pros: Slick design, speaker and mic quality was what you'd expect from a headset at this price.

Cons: As other people have seemed to say, the wiring connecting the headset to the cord seems to be poorly made, and one of my speakers started cutting out around 4 months. Combinations of wigging and tape kept it going for another few days but then it completely stopped working.

Other Thoughts: Be careful when buying this, your mileage may vary on how long you have before it craps out.

1 out of 5 eggs

Pros: - Sounds good
- Mic is good
- Fits my head well
- Cheap

Cons: - Left side speaker stopped working

Other Thoughts: I bought this headset on 8/24. There were only one or two negative reviews here on Newegg, but I remember reading what someone wrote. "The right speaker went out a few weeks after I ordered it." Well, I've had it for almost a year now, and it went out. The wiring at the bottom of the left ear cup seems to be messed up. When I wiggle it, I can get the sound to work perfectly until I tilt my head or let the wire move at all. I was plenty gentle with this headset, but I know that it won't be long until even wiggling the wire will make it work, so I came back here to check if there's a manufacturer's warranty or something. There isn't, but there are way more reviews saying the the speakers stopped working. Don't buy this headset. It will go bad.
