3 out of 5 eggsNice product, but not durable.

Pros: - Reverb on speakers makes for a great experience with bass-centered sounds
- Driver software has voice modulation
- Keeps your ears cool
- Over-ear cups for even large ears makes wearing it comfortable

Cons: - Lights are always on, even when the computer isn't
- Been about a half a year and things are breaking down: recently the microphone has started stuttering and friends over Skype can't hear me sometimes. Also, sound goes static and crackles sometimes, but opening the driver software fixes it temporarily.
- Lastly, the band doesn't flex too well to encompass larger heads resulting in the adjustable band snapping

Other Thoughts: It was a good quality product for its short lifespan, but I need something that will last longer than half a year.

4 out of 5 eggsGreat in many ways, both positive and negative.

Pros: -Circumaural headset is right, this thing will clear even large ears on all sides.
-Heatsink does its job well, never once needed to remove headset to let ears breath.
-Blast Source Vibration Identifier brings a great level of realism to action while gaming.

Cons: -While certainly wide enough for all ear types. It's a soft pad which tends to result in your ear resting against the hard surface inside.
-Serious design flaw in the adjustable band. As it uses to seperate and thin plastic strips to join together and encase the swiveling earpieces. This results in a low-tolerance point in the adjustable band that will crack and eventually snap off with continual use. (A bigger head such as mine will see this happen sooner and more likely than a small head as mine is now unusable less than a year after purchase)
-Hera software suite is poorly designed and doesn't fully support all of the headsets features. Even after a full year following this headsets release.
-As with other Gamdias hardware. It has a very clashing gold LED logo with clashing red LED feature lighting. And an LED light on the mute mic button which flashes incessantly bright blue LEDs when the mic isn't muted but being utilized by a VOIP. (doesn't flash when on but not being used by a VOIP) All of which cannot be turned off or adjusted.

Other Thoughts: This has been the best headset I have used to date for sound quality in the input and output. As well as the heatsink and Blast Source Vibration function adding to comfort and immersion.

Unfortunately, I cannot use it as the adjustable bands poor quality and design with my somewhat large head. Have resulted in both ears of the headset falling off the headband due to cracking. Strongly recommend this headset, unless you have a large head and/or frequently remove your headset throughout a normal gaming session. Such as when LANing or to attend to children. As you're likely to see the adjustable band crack and break over time. A smaller head with a less or non-existant extension in the headband will never see this problem.

3 out of 5 eggsGreat Hardware, but there is no software provide by Gamdias.

Pros: The hardware on this headset is great, its comfy, it looks nice, and the sound quality is excellent.

What I really like about it, is that its loud, too loud at its loudest, but that's not a problem, I can just turn in down to my preferences, unlike my last Logitech headset which was never loud enough. Better to have a bit more and not need it, then not have enough.

This headset actually has vibrators within the ear pieces, which is great. When I play something like ARMA 3, when a helicopter flies by, I not only hear it, I feel it, which is awesome!

It also has a heat sink, I guess its to keep your ears from getting too hot, but my ears still get really hot after an hour or so. I'm not sure if it really does anything but I have no other headset to compare it to, maybe its really keeping my ears 1 or 2 degrees cooler.

The mic works just fine, nothing bad, or amazing about it i'd say, and the surround sound also works just fine, when you get software for it that is...which brings us to the cons...

Cons: Though the hardware is great, there are horrendous problems software wise, I'm not even sure where to begin. I could complain about the software, but its non existent now! Yes, if you check the Gamdias website, it's freaken gone! Not that that really changed anything for me, as their HERA software didn't work to begin with, as it would never detect my headset. But now this headset truly has no software provided by Gamdias. And you need software to activate the surround sound. Oddly enough, it works for some people, I've seen it in review videos. It never worked for me though.

I sent them an email, because that's the only way you can contact their customer service, I have not heard back from them for 3 weeks, and judging from the other reviews of Gamdias products, I don't think I ever will.

Basically I did a google search, and found that Razor has a software that is compatible with any 7.1 headset, so you can download that to activate the surround sound. Its free as well...unless you want to edit certain things about the headset, like treble, bass, or other mic and stereo options, for that I had to pay them 20 bucks, I was that desperate to get the the full potential out of this headset. Maybe there are some free options available, I'd Goolge search for software before you buy, because Gamdias won't provide any.

Oh right, and the headset has lights, which is fine, they look nice, but you can't turn off unless you unplug it! So I have to unplug it every night before I got to bed, and plug it in when its time to play. Nothing big here, its just a minor inconvenience.

(update 2/19/2016) The HERA software reappeared on their website...and it still doesn't work for me, same issue.

Other Thoughts: What's funny is, they just updated their website to make it more flashy, but just tucked the software under the rug. Yes you can really market now, but they are losing some of their substance. Or maybe they took down the software because they are improving it, I don't know, their website didn't say. But really, their software needs work, not their website.

I think Gamdias has a lot of potential, their hardware is great and is bring features never before seen for headsets and mice. But if I have to got to Razor and spend and extra 20 dollars for software, that's just terrible.

-1 for first having dysfunctional software, and now nonexistent software.
-1 for having nonexistent customer service.

I was tempted to make it 2 eggs, but now that I do have some software for it, it is amazing.

1 out of 5 eggsStarted off Great - went downhill

Pros: Great sound initially
Loved the vibrations
Long cord

Cons: 2 of 3 already failed with increasing static in ears
Filled out warranty requests and have NEVER heard a peep from them

Other Thoughts: If the quality was there and they responded to service claims, they would be 5 star. Based upon support and short duration, do NOT buy at this time.

4 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Comfortable ear pads. Good sound. The rumble feature is surprisingly addictive and adds to immersion. You can turn rumble to high, low, or off and mic mute. Comes with software that provide lots of options to alter and adjust the sound.

Cons: Although ear pads are comfy they are tight and the headset itself is very heavy, tipping your head forward or back will cause the headset to fall off. Several lights all over it you may be able to turn off. Default sounded was echoed which may be the 7.1 sound I'm not used to but using the software to change to "padded cell" dampens that. Knocking on the headset causes quite a loud/echo reverb on your ear. Unsure if rumble would be good for your hearing long term but it adds a new level to gameplay.

Other Thoughts: Once you fine tune the sound and don't tip your head the sound and rumble from this product is addictive and I look forward to using them when sitting down to game.

5 out of 5 eggsGHS2000

Pros: music sounds incredible. bass is awesome. software is easy to use. It does get very loud. Just use the software to turn up volume to +12, and the EQ helps out also.

Cons: none.

Other Thoughts: I do recommend this to anyone who uses a headset.

5 out of 5 eggsExcellent Headset

Pros: Very comfortable headset
Very well built, good overall quality
Mic is very good and long enough that it reaches your mouth. It can be moved around very easily also.
Looks good
Sounds Very Good
Easy to setup with software.
Nice LED's

Cons: Overall volume of headset - It doesn't get very loud which isn't as big a deal to me these days as it use to be. Would be nice if you could really pump the music through it though, however it's more of a gaming headset anyway. Not built for a audiophile.

Other Thoughts: I would highly recommend this headset for gamers and people who need a headset to talk on. The mic is one of the better ones I've had. I have gone through a lot of headsets and spend more then I care to say on them. I am happy with this headset then I have been with 350+ dollar ones I have purchased.

2 out of 5 eggsAvoid

Pros: Really Comfortable
Decent Sound
Look Really Cool
Long Wires

Cons: HORRIBLE MIC
Although it says it has a noise cancelling mic it doesn't when i used the mic it was picked up the fan from my computer fans which were on my desk so, I moved my computer to the ground but, then i figured out it was just a static coming from the mic. So i was forced to use the mic from my Razer Kraken
AWFUL SOFTWARE
The EQ from the driver doesnt even do anything

Other Thoughts: DO NOT BUY!
DO NOT BUY!

5 out of 5 eggsWow

Pros: Comfort and sound

Cons: Not as good as my Sennheisers but very close to it

Other Thoughts: Eggcellent for what I paid. I wear an almost size 8 hat and these fit over my melon and glasses and can wear them for hours without discomfort. Sound is very clear and has plenty of bass. Mic is good. What else can I say? I am happy.
