2 out of 5 eggsIt was good while it lasted.

Pros: This headset was just fine while it lasted, but it did not last very long. The sound and microphone quality were fine.

Cons: Within the first 3 months the mic started acting up, then shortly after, stopped working completely. The design was bulky and not entirely attractive and the comfort level was average.

2 out of 5 eggsNot worth

Pros: I only gave this product two eggs because of the overall feel to it (cord, muffs etc.)

Cons: I got these 04/26/2014 and paid $59.99

The mic was the first thing to become very loose after 1 month of use (would not stand up).

2 days ago the right side just died. (Today is 03/26/2015)

i want to emphasize that i really took care of these. (i mean if you would see then you would think i unpacked them yesterday).

i really don't feel i got my 60 dollars worth.

Disappointed probably never buying this brand again

2 out of 5 eggsNot All Bad

Pros: -Good sound
-Very comfortable
-Long braided cord

Cons: -Software isn't very good (would start getting sound interference every 15-20 min, until i uninstalled and just used windows drivers)

-This is a USB set and my windows 7 computer will not shut down while the headset is plugged in.

-Inline controls work but the lights are just lights that are on all the time, so mute and mic mute lights are on all the time so it's a guessing game if its muted or not.

Other Thoughts: Many small problems leave me with a headset I want to like but I kind of wish i had saved more money and bought something else.

2 out of 5 eggsSound issues

Pros: It was reasonably priced. Braided cord is tough. Looks cool, if you can say that something that resembles ear muffs can look cool.

Cons: Intermittently, and with no reason which I can yet determine, the sound will, suddenly and without warning, "fuzz" or distort. I've tried drivers, inputs, volume, and google, to no avail. In addition, these headphones are not ventilated well, and my ears sweat after a short while. Lastly, with no quick release, any mistake could be your last. Mostly though, its the sound...the whole point of headphones is to deliver quality sound, which these fail miserably at. I will do my best to return them when I get home next week.

Other Thoughts: I'll try to update this as I hear back from Newegg or the manufacturer. Perhaps mine are an odd faulty pair.

3 out of 5 eggsRating adjustment....

Pros: ** see prior review

Let me add Gamdia's CS is excellent they went above and beyond to try to help me sadly even with the replacement headset issue still persists.

Cons: ** see prior review

Other Thoughts: After owning these I noticed when talking in TS3 or steam friends commented there was static or my voice was robotic, I tried everything to resolve the issue and ended up getting a replacement headset.

The issue still remained even with the new headset...and after trying everything else ended up having to remove the headset software for the mic to work properly.

Friend who purchased the same exact headset has the same issue so hopefully they will update the software and fix the issue!
For now however if you want surround sound and do not mind going without a mic then these work fine, but if you want the mic to work you will need to remove the software.

4 out of 5 eggsGreat Budget Buy

Pros: Comfortable, Quality sound, Reasonable price, Great for big heads!

Cons: Delicate, Speakers don't swivel much, Bad for small heads. Mic could be closer to the mouth.

Other Thoughts: I don't have a lot of money, so I try to buy in the $40-$60 range. You get what you pay for, but you work with what you have. That said, these look promising and they do have VERY good sound quality for this price range.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Headset

Pros: Great sound.
Great mic pickup.

Cons: If volume is too loud, your mic can pick up a little rumble from the speakers. Can adjust the mic / volume to fix.

Other Thoughts: Took a little messing around to get the audio levels where they needed to be. I sight this more towards Window's software, but I can't rule out. Once the settings were adjusted, worked great!

Only had it about a month, but loving it!

5 out of 5 eggsLove these!

Pros: 1. Really Comfortable! Made very well to fit ears. Head didn't hurt after playing for a couples hours.
2. They are durable, although if you were to step on them they would probably break as.
3. They sound great, I feel like I got my moneys worth.

Cons: All Plastic. But if you treat them well they will last.

Other Thoughts: From the moment I put these headphones on I cant get over how comfortable they are.

4 out of 5 eggsGood headset for the price

Pros: 1) Good surround sound**
2) Clear mic
3) windows 7 compatible
4) very comfortable
5) light
6) Seems well made
7) in line volume and mic/speaker mute

Cons: 1) Setting up initially not as user friendly as some headsets I have used, have to mess with setting a bit to get things working proper.

2) If you like to use chat program in this instance (TS3) I had to start the game first (skyrim) before starting voip otherwise I had no in game sound.

3) While the in line volume and mute is nice, there is no way to tell if your muted as the light on both the mute and deafen button stay lit either way.

Other Thoughts: Must download software to make full use of the surround sound features, windows will recognize the headset but you only get stereo option without software installed.

Most of my issues are minor ones for the price its a good headset.
