5 out of 5 eggsSilky Smooth

Pros: Excellent tracking, you can literally feel the "quality," endless customization options, very attractive to look at, a huge joy to use and game with.

Cons: Absolutely none

Other Thoughts: I have spent a lot of time endlessly upgrading my desktop PC but rarely ever pay attention to the input devices I use to basically drive the system until now. I recently upgraded both my mouse and keyboard and am in gaming nirvana.

The Gamdias Zeus mouse is an immense joy to use with Windows 10. I have never in my life owned such a stellar performing mouse before. I have owned items by Logitech, Steelseries and Corsair and although I enjoyed using them and they were reliable they don't come close to the sheer joy and powerhouse that is the Zeus. It has taken my WoW gaming to the next level.

I was so impressed by the quality of the Zeus mouse I bought their best keyboard available, the Hermes Mechanical with cherry MX switches. (A very good decision, I love this thing!)

They complement each other very well and I couldn't be happier with the performance I am receiving. You can't possibly be disappointed in this mouse.

There are removable weights in the back end, and dial indicators on the underside that will expand the width of the mouse to your liking. Also the HERA software makes customization of the mouses buttons for gaming macros a breeze. I am currently gaming with Windows 10 and have not had any problems using the HERA software. Although I have read complaints by some users I have had no problems.

If you're "For the Horde" you are in for a treat as both the mouse and keyboard can be customized to glow an eerie red while battling those pesky Alliance.

Pros: Easy to set up.
Easy to adjust.
Solid design and materials.
Smooth and responsive handling.

Cons: Design takes some getting used to.

Other Thoughts: Background:
The wheel stopped responding on my Razer DeathAdder about two months ago. I picked up a cheapy Logitech while looking for a new mouse, and swooped down on this one while it was on sale.

Set-up:
It comes with rubber grips you insert into the sides, don't forget to pop those in. There are also scroll wheels on the bottom to adjust the width of the lower sides. I picked a narrow grip.

I suggest downloading "Hera" immediately to get the latest driver, adjust the DPI, change out the button configuration, and adjust the vertical scroll speed. When I just plugged it in, the mouse felt sluggish and the factory button settings are for changing the mouse profile and a macro to the Gamdias' website.

Aesthetics:
The design reminds me of a glowing bicycle helmet. I'm fine with that - my PC tower looks like a glowing xenomorph head.

The weight of it is pleasant. The mouse wheel rolls in well-defined ticks instead of a continuous scroll. The black plastic feels rubberized, giving it a nice texture, and I've already touched it with greasy pizza hands and don't notice any fingerprints.

The accessory buttons have a nice, crisp click to them.

Function:
It’s an MMO mouse with four side buttons, three center buttons, and one upper side button (along with the standard left and right click). It takes a bit of time to get used to it. I’m not sure it’s better than the usual grid of buttons on the side, unless you sometimes misclick with a grid.

I don’t think it’s worse except that the upper side button isn’t convenient to use. There’s a curve in the side where you can rest your thumb but if you do so, clicking the upper button means adjusting your hand. It would be better if they put the button where the side light currently is.

Fit:
I like the adjustable sides. I’m female and the mouse is slightly longer than I’d like but that’s something I’ve run into with most gaming mice.

Final Thoughts/Concern:
This is probably the most expensive mouse I’ve bought and it feels and handles better than my $60 deathadder and way better than the $20 logitech I had. There is a noticeable jump in quality in all aspects.

That said, I want to know how it performs in 2-5 years’ time. Will the wheel continue to work? Will any of the buttons give out? Will the surface peel or wear? Will my cat’s long fur clog up the laser and be a pain to clean out?

4 out of 5 eggsNot bad

Pros: -Adjustable
-Heavy
-Feels sturdy
-Works great on old corsair cloth pad
-Software works
-More then 2 extra buttons
-Fits good enough, not a perfect palm grip but no cramps or anything awful on hands that require XL gloves american sizing.

Cons: -Adjustments are really only for fingertip placements so you can grip slightly wider but you cant change the palm area unless I am dumb(possibly)

-Software is kinda ugly?

-The removable weights are in the very back instead of more centered.

-Depending on grip style you can really only use about 3-4 of the extra buttons without shifting position.

Other Thoughts: Came from a Logit*** G500. I use palm grip and this mouse is slightly less comfortable but I wanted a few more usable buttons. I would not pay pay full price for this mouse and have no buyers remorse at the shellshocker price!

5 out of 5 eggsGreat gaming mouse

Pros: Very responsive laser gaming mouse that is tool-less and customizable

Cons: Mouse wheel is a tad too high for my preference; software is for Windows only

Other Thoughts: The ZEUS provides 11 buttons with nine of them being customizable with the Hera software. Unfortunately, the software only runs in Windows. Besides the left and right mouse buttons, the left side has an additional five buttons and there are another three below the clickable mouse wheel.

The middle mouse buttons are great for changing the DPI on the fly. The DPI can be changed to 400, 800, 1600, 3200, and 8200. I found the 8200 DPI to be too fast in Windows and ran it at 3200 most of the time. While the Gamdias logo is permanently set to yellow and the lights below are red, the mouse wheel and left mouse light can be set to the six colors of the rainbow (red, orange, yellow, green, blue, purple.)

2 out of 5 eggsGamdias Zeus

Pros: Nice packaging. Nice design

Cons: If you are 12 years old then the size of this mouse might work for you. If you are a grown man then you may want to look elsewhere. Even with the three width adjustments this mouse is still too small for my hand. i worked with this mouse for about 30 minutes. My ring finger was so uncomfortable on the ridge that is on the right side of this mouse that i could no longer try to get use to it. The software has to be downloaded from the website just like every other company these days and it is all but impossible to get it up and running from a simple desktop icon.. Kept getting errors for this application. Mouse wheel is rough to use and the mouse itself does not move well on a good gaming mouse pad. My Roccat Kone XTD moves so much better on the same pad.

Other Thoughts: I like the over-all design and the adjustable width but its just too small and has too many issues for me to keep it. RMA in the works.

4 out of 5 eggsNice Mouse, but not for me

Pros: -Looks nice
-Software easy to use
-More customization options than you can shake a stick at.
-Tracks really well on several different pads

Cons: -bottom leds only light up red, while all the others are changeable
-if you flair out the thumb rest you cant hit the side buttons effectively.

Other Thoughts: It's actually a really nice mouse. I think the real problem I had with it is the texture they used for the gripping surface aren't tacky enough which makes me have to apply pressure to keep good grip. I'm about 6'1 and I'm not sure if it would be better if I had smaller hands or larger hands to be honest. I wanted something I could fully palm grip to help with what is probably carpel tunnel. I could not get my pinky in a comfortable position and I always felt like I was squeezing it keep a hold of it, even after days of playing with the settings.

5 out of 5 eggsRAT 7's successor

Pros: -great adjustability
-software worked fine (a lot of reviews saying it bricked the mouse) currently using version 2.0, you won't need to install it and have it start up when windows does, just download, extract and run
-sensor works well as it should
-nice matte finish, feels like a subtle rubber grip
-definitely recommend it you need another mouse or switch from the RAT series mice ( had problems with mine, sensor went jumpy after a year)

Cons: it will take a while to break in some if you were using a mouse like the steelseries sensei (also a great mouse) wouldn't recommend for small hands
-mouse may not be for everyone
-a little pricey for the build quality, buttons could have been better for the price, i got it on sale for 89.99

Other Thoughts: definitely recommend, i was honestly sketchy from the reviews i've seen (others having problems), but I gave in and i was not let down. 5/5 eggs. software working well confirmed.

5 out of 5 eggsGamdias Zeus eSport Edition

Pros: The mouse is extremely customizable, allowing for comfort specified to your own tastes. This pertains to the hardware as well as the software. There are wheels on the underside of the mouse which allow you to change the width and feel of the mouse, as well as weights on the back end. There are two buttons on the top of the mouse, behind the mouse wheel which allow for lowering and raising of dpi. You can specify how far each button changes with the Gamdias application.

Cons: The wait while you're configuring your mouse!

Other Thoughts: Overall, I enjoy using this mouse greatly, would recommend to anyone!
