In a high performance gaming headset, there are two qualities that should not be compromised - the sound experience and ease of use. By using precision tuned 4omm neodymium drivers with bass enhancing vibration modules, not only will you hear the difference in sound but also feel the earth-shaking bass of every explosion. Unlike other high performance gaming headsets, all you have to do is plug it into your USB port and game away - no need to install pesky software or drivers. Volume control is just a turn of a knob away and turning the Mic on or off is as simple as flipping the boom. Introducing the Levetron GH808, it's everything you need in a gaming headset, nothing more and nothing less.

3 out of 5 eggsMixed feelings.

Pros: The headset is comfortable and I have no problem wearing them for extended periods of time.
I do like the volume knob that is located on the side of the headphones as it makes for easy adjustments.
+ for the mic attached and for the long thick cable.
The bass button thing? It does give music/games some extra "oomph" to it but...

Cons: I'm not sure if I like it. When you turn it off, the bass drops wayyy to much. Leaving you with just some wimpy sounding highs.
You have to turn up the volume on the headset just to get back the bass. But then its too loud and I have to adjust the volume on my computer.

Other Thoughts: I'm not disappointed though. My other headphones were falling apart and I needed some new ones.

Would I pay $100 for this? Ha! Nope! Got these on sale for $60. I'm sure you can better quality headphones for the $100 price.

4 out of 5 eggsfirst gaming headset

Pros: Well built, mic retracts into headset so its not out and about and could break, the earcups and headpads are very very comfortable. volume nob on ear is nice for adjusting volume on the fly

Cons: cups do not swivel. sound quality is ok but not what i would expect from such a headset.

Other Thoughts: first gaming headset ever, overall i am very happy with this set. the bass boost feature is good for games but its hit or miss with music.

5 out of 5 eggsAzio GH808

Pros: 1. They're light. Feel really nice on my head.
2. They have pretty good sound quality, mostly after messing with the driver presets.
3. The mic works pretty well, according to my friends in Skype.

Cons: It seems as though I got a defective unit, sadly. The right speaker seems really quiet and occassionally produces a slight feedback noise...

Other Thoughts: Emailed Azio Corp and waiting for a reply. Hoping I can replace them, I like the color and feel of them.

5 out of 5 eggsHighly Recommended

Pros: - Everything.

Cons: The only con I have as mentioned is the bass being too loud. I have the volume turned down to the point where I can barely here it, and the bass is still rattling my headset so I end up using it without the bass feature sometimes.

Other than that, get this!

5 out of 5 eggsGH808 Driver download

Pros: I haven't received them yet. There is a driver download for them. You have to have them plugged in to install the driver. It's here - look to the left of the microphone on the headset: Virtual 7.1 software (Windows only)
http://www.aziocorp.com/product/peripheral/headset/gh808.htm

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: Again - the driver download for the GH808 is:

4 out of 5 eggsVery comfortable

Pros: Very comfortable, mic works well, adjustable and durable

Cons: No surround sound, deactivates sometimes when I put them down (yea, I have no idea), software/drivers are a little choppy. Tough to select what sound is going where on some programs.

Other Thoughts: Really is disappointing to have such a great headset, but to be unable to use them well on FPS games from lack of surround sound. Since it's not advertised that there is 5.1, there's only one egg off total.

2 out of 5 eggsNeed to RMA

Pros: Great sound quality for the speakers and the mic

Cons: The bass is too loud and rattles the headphones with the bass button both on and off. The volume button is in a bad location every time you set them down the button gets moved and when the volume is too low it makes this awful reverb noise and everyone that I am talking to yells and me and tells me my mic is making terrible noise. Talked to Azio to see if this was a known issue, they weren't helpful and told me to contact Newegg for a RMA.

5 out of 5 eggsHighly Recommended

Pros: - Cheap.
- Perfect for gaming.
- Nice bass boost feature.
- Microphone doesn't get in the way.
- Cord isn't too long, and thick so it doesn't tangle.
- Great bass and sound quality.
- EXTREMELY comfortable.
- Almost feels soundproof which is perfect.

Cons: - None so far.

Other Thoughts: I was looking for a gaming headset and where the cord wasn't too long that it starts tangling up on itself eventually. I was between the Creative headset or these, but I went with these because of the cord length, and the style and all.

Fast shipping (shipped from CA to AZ).
