5 out of 5 eggsAmazing!!

Pros: Feels great
Forms to my hand
Adjust DPI on the fly
Very fast

Cons: LED remains on even when computer is off

Other Thoughts: Would of been nice to switch LED on and off. Also I am unsure why the LED stays on even when computer is turned off. I have my keyboard and mouse under my desk but this could be a problem if you keep your mouse on top of your desk. With that being said you can't beat the price for what you get. The texture feels amazing and seems to not make my hand sweat as much as glossy mice do which also helps keep a solid grip while playing FPS. I am very pleased with the purchase and recommend this mouse to anyone wanting to upgrade their mouse. Side buttons are also programmable if wondering. Great job Azio!

4 out of 5 eggsDecent mouse

Pros: Blue lighting isn't overpowering.
Adjustable DPI.
No extra software required.

Cons: Blue lighting doesn't exactly match my blue-lit Azio keyboard.
Unfortunate tendency to "snag" on my mouse pad.

Other Thoughts: Caught this on sale, it looked like it might be a good buy.
Worked on first boot up, no problems.
It has a good weight and moves very nicely on the pad though, strangely, it feels like there are some raw edges, or badly molded plastic on the bottom. It want to catch or snag on my mousepad. I check the bottom of the mouse and everything feels perfectly smooth, yet it still wants to snag. The previous mouse didn't do that. Maybe I just need to change my mousing surface.
It's not a bad mouse, all in all. You could do worse for the price.

2 out of 5 eggsWorked for 2 hours

Pros: Nice mouse, worked well, felt nice, looks good.

Cons: Worked for 2 hours before the sensor died.

Other Thoughts: I was so excited about the good deal on a mouse. My hopes and dreams were crushed. I just spent a good deal on a new desktop build and was thrilled to finally have everything I needed. Sad.

5 out of 5 eggsWorks great!

Pros: Great feel, has some weight to it, nice big sliders on bottom, buttons are in good locations for my hand. (average/large hand)
Cord is long and feels durable.
Looks very sharp, nice lighting.
Best bang for the buck if it lasts!

Cons: None I can think of yet.

5 out of 5 eggsAzio GM2400 Black 6 1 x Wheel Wired Optical 2400 dpi Gaming Mouse

Pros: Price
Quality
DPI
Feel the Click
As accurate as a Laser mouse

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: My Logitech G9 was finally giving out on me after about 4 years so I needed a decent gaming mouse at a cheap price to get me by. I just plugged this baby and went to sniping in Insurgency. I gotta say that I like this mouse as much as my G9. It will get the job done gaming for sure. I have a wide hand and tend to palm my mice and this is comfortable enough. Hopefully it lasts a long time. $14.99 on sale was a steal of a deal. I would pay $30 for this mouse

4 out of 5 eggsA pretty decent mouse

Pros: Nice design and looks very nice, cool blue lighting.

Cons: Is meant for both left and right handed people so it doesn't form to my hand very well

4 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Looks very nice, not to bright, feels good in hand, select able dpi on the fly, long cord

Cons: This might not be a con to everyone but i have a small mouse space so im always lifting the mouse up so i can keep the mouse moving. with this mouse you have to life more then an inch or it will still read the movement

Other Thoughts: would gave all 5 eggs if i didnt have to life the mouse over an inch for it not to read movement

1 out of 5 eggsThis mouse makes me sad. :(

Pros: I was looking for an inexpensive gaming mouse. I wanted a braided cable and thumb buttons. This mouse has that and it was low cost!

Cons: The mouse was DOA. Took it out of the box and plugged it in, backlights come on but no laser. My computer wouldn't detect it, no drivers would install, and it couldn't be used for any input at all.

Other Thoughts: Returning it to Newegg for a replacement is going to cost like $10, which is insane. It adds 50% to the cost of the mouse, even if the replacement works without flaw. I would almost recommend spending a lot more on a mouse from Wal-Mart.

4 out of 5 eggsUnbeatable Within Price Range

Pros: Hands down, best deal for entry level gaming mice. Outstanding Tracking at all speed settings. I play FPS's like CS and BF4 at low sensitivity and have had no issues with this mouse. It works well. The additional buttons are placed well, and the mouse has a relatively comfortable fit. The braided cable is another plus, as it is less likely to bend in areas and snag on desktop items.

Cons: None that warrant paying more for entry level gaming.

5 out of 5 eggsAzio Is a great value with Excellent Service

Pros: I bought this mouse to add a quality wired mouse to my budget gaming system (secondary system for a different room of the house). I am using my Azio MGK1 mechanical keyboard on that system and I've loved it so much that I decided I may as well get a mouse that matches. I was previously using a wireless logitech M510 mouse, which I love, but I can't say that I prefer wireless for gaming, as it does lag occasionally, and does not have a very high DPI setting.

The GM2400 is the perfect DPI for me. I play on 1920x1080 on dual monitors, and with this mouse and my plastic mouse pad, the GM2400 does very well at about 1600 DPI. There is enough DPI though, that if I wanted, I could bump up to 2400 (although that would be a bit too sensitive for me). I feel that the accuracy is very good with the optical sensor, although some may say laser is better. The only laser mouse I've used is the Razer Naga, and I strongly preferred optical mice to it. I think there's a reason Azio went optical - as the performance and accuracy on this unit is simply superb for the 14.99 price.

The build quality resembles 60$+ brand name gaming mice. Pretty lightweight - about the same as my Razer Deathadder. It is far more ergonomic than most gaming mice that I've tried as well, with the grooves on both sides, and the grippy texture rather than slippery, polished plastic. The braided cord was an extremely nice touch at this pricepoint, and with the construction of the braid actually going into the mouse, I believe this cord will last a LONG time. The main issue I've seen with braids is that they often stop before entering the mouse, so they can fray and then expose wires. In this setup, that isn't really a possibility.

The side buttons are programmable via keymapping programs, but otherwise function as 'mousebutton 4' and 'mousebutton 5'. Most games will recognize these buttons by default, but you're free to map them in windows with the program of your choice if you prefer as well. I've used them as modifier keys (cntrl and alt) to take some strain off my left hand during certain games. The 'on the fly' DPI recording is quite nice too. You can (as advertised) jump between 800-1200-1600-2400 DPI. I really enjoy the 1600 setting, and in some games even the 1200. The 2400 will still be a solid performer for those that prefer a snappy, agile mouse.

Overall, I think this mouse is an incredible value for the budget gamer. In my opinion, it compares to mice that are at least triple the price. I love the combination of this mouse and my mechanical MGK1 Azio keyboard (blue switches). Check that out for a great setup if you're looking to get a full gaming peripheral setup for around 100$.

Cons: None that I can think of
