5 out of 5 eggsHyperX = Great Eco Choice for a head set

Pros: Great price for what you get!
Sound is great for stereo gaming.
LONG cable options
MANY different cable connection options.
leather ear cups that come on it are great no real need to switch to the cloth....

Cons: Took some time to set up the mic, so it did not make a static noise. (this is completely fixable just mess around in settings).

2 out of 5 eggs...

Pros: Good sound quality.

Cons: Doesn't fit as comfortably as I would've thought considered the title for the headset is "#1 Gaming Comfort for PC". My old Razer Megalodon felt alot nicer and the cup sizes are smaller so I dont get that.

After like 1.5 weeks the mic just went insane and has constant feedback/loud buzzing for no reason at all, I've tested it with new OS install and different computers as well, same problems no different. Is their quality control? I have also babied this headset since I got it setting it down very softly on the table when I'm done using them, as I have always done with all my stuff.

TBH I expected a lot better quality for $100

5 out of 5 eggsWow, Wow and Oh by the way Wow!!!

Pros: Perfect weight, Crystal Clear sound with no noise or static at high volumes. Bass is astounding with the 53mm Drivers. Plug and play, Not over complicated. Packaging is first class. All the accessories that you could ever need. Construction rivals that of $500 Sets, and so does the Sound. I should also add that I am Severely hearing impaired, These are the first headset to serve my needs since the original turtle beach x52. Mic is extremely clear. I expect a long happy relationship with my Kingston headset, They nailed it right out of the gate with this unit. I wore these gaming last night for 4 hours gaming and forgot that they were on my head.

Cons: None,

Other Thoughts: Will I recommend these to friends?, Reluctantly and only very close friends. lol, Don't want to give the secret away :)

5 out of 5 eggsHyperX Cloud Headset is great

Pros: Feel: Very comfortable. Firm but flexible headband. Very soft cushions with either cloth or leather.

Style: I was surprised how well these look. My biggest concern was that they will look a bit too ridiculous during Skype calls (as many gaming headsets can) but after putting them on, I don't feel that way at all.
Ah, and also a carrying bag and a very nice storage box comes as part of the package.

Durability: Feels very study, mix of aluminum brush and a cloth cord doesn't seem like it is in any hurry to break, but only time will tell.

Quality: Fantastic for both speech and music; Bass is good.

Customization: This headset has an extensive slew of attachments. Watch newegg's video as they cover them all, but to sum them up: Detachable microphone, the original headset cable is only about 4 feet(ish), but there are two extensions, one with the control box, if you need them. There is a 2 port to 1 port (mic+audio) connector, nice if you either have some newer laptops with only that, or if you plan to use these with your phone or something. Then there is also an airplane double pin adapter. In addition to the cloth earmuffs and detachable microphone.

Overall feeling: Very satisfied after a long day of using these. They are definitely good at drowning out outside noise, comfortable for prolonged times, and comfortable on my head. I do not have a big head, so I can't attest to that, but they seem to comfortably bend further so ? I think they're worth it.

Cons: I have no major cons. Minor gripes could include no LED's to show anything on the headset, if you like that. No USB connection. I don't particularly like the HyperX logo, and although they aren't terribly distracting, they could take those things off and make these look more professional and more appealing.

Kingston is somewhat new in the headset market, I believe. Obviously, I am hoping they last a long time. This entry is very very nice. Better than Logitech and Razer, but also, at least compared to some, more expensive. I think if Kingston has a good thing going here, and these are a great choice.

Other Thoughts: Great choice for a headset

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Comfort/Design: 10/10

I cannot say this enough! This headset is the most comfortable one I have worn so far, they are light and durable; something I would not mind wearing for hours and hours of gaming. Secondly, they come with two different types of ear cups (leather and cloth). Despite me only using the leather ones anyways, I feel like its still nice to those that are looking for more options. Also the leather stitching on the headband as well as the aluminum construction really gives this headset a nice sleek design.

Sound: 10/10

53MM Drivers. Do I have to say anything else?! Not many headsets for this price range have these kind of drivers. The sound quality on the HyperX Cloud is amazing! I was about to give this headset a slightly lower rating on sound, but when my friend let me borrow his sound card, THEY WERE AMAZING! They really put you into the game that you are playing! I tested the games on Battlefield, Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, and a couple horror games. The headset has great noise-cancelling, blocks a lot of outside noise out; which is great for my FPS games.

Cons: I guess the only con would be that to maximize the sound quality, you would need a sound card. Regardless, they sound amazing without it.

Other Thoughts: Some other things to note with this headset is that it has the braided cable which I like a lot more than the regular plastic sheaths most headsets come with. The microphone is detachable. It comes with an extension cable as well as an adapter to attach to a PS4 or Xbox One. The adapter can also be used for smartphones as well as on airplanes. Also comes with a nice carrying pouch!

Packaging was amazing, I like boxes lol
Sound is amazing
Comfort is through the roof good

This headset is definitely worth the price. $99 for a high quality headset.

HyperX Cloud is a great buy! You will not be disappointed!

5 out of 5 eggsmost comfortable gaming headphones I own

Pros: Packaging: The packaging for this product gives the sense that you are paying for quality. I also own a high end pair of Sennheisers and the packaging of this is comparable to it. There are also a bunch of accessories included in the box, it can be confusing at first but you will be glad they thought out the various possible uses for these headphones and have provided the necessary adapters. I use this sometimes with my PS4 for late night playing and I am really glad they included the adapter plug with it.

Comfort: I have owned multiple gaming headphones and have always had issues with comfort. These are just as comfortable as my pair of high end Sennheisers I own. Unlike other gaming headphones that have noise cancellation, these headphones don't squeeze your head too tight and you can use these comfortably for extended periods of time. I would usually have to take headphones off every so often but I feel like with these I never have to take off until I am done gaming.

Sound quality: To me the frequency response is pretty balanced and sounds great. There is a slight bump to the low-end but that is a plus for playing shooters for me. I think the bigger drives make a big difference and the quality is a lot better than the headphones I have previously owned. However, for this price point these obviously won't sound the same as my Sennheisers. They are great for what they are IMO.

Cons: Microphone isn't the best for recording, but for skype and gaming (TS) it's fine.

Too many plugs and accessories with little explanation

Other Thoughts: if you are looking for comfort, these are it.

5 out of 5 eggsImpressed

Pros: This is a follow up to my earlier post. I received a reply from Kingston (See previous post). I called customer support, had to navigate to two people. Only took about 10 minutes to get the new one sent overnight at their expense and they are paying for shipping for the return.
Now, having had several products break in the past. I will say this was the best customer service I have received in the last 10 years.
You rocked it Kingston. Oh yeah, the headphones sound nice too.

Cons: It broke.

2 out of 5 eggsDisappointed

Pros: Feels nice on the head.

Cons: Did not come with any software or drivers, had to search the internet for them.

Other Thoughts: The mic broke on the seventh use. It just stopped working. It did no matter if I was using the sound card or onboard sound.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat headset

Pros: -Adapter to work with iPhone/iPad/iMac/MacBook Pro/etc, airline adapter
-Interchangeable earcups are nice, albeit a bit fiddly to change
-Plenty of cable length
-Very comfortable
-Build quality seems good so far

Cons: Velour cups reduce bass response a bit, but I still think they sound pretty nice.

4 out of 5 eggsComfortable - worth the price.

Pros: Super comfortable over the hear headset with either the foam inserts or the covered foam ones. I like the leather covered ones more as the forms feel to warm after a bit.

Acceptable to great sound compared to my older G35 headset.

Mic seems better, had people mention I sound more like I do in person compared to others...

LOOONNGGG cord options. Really you could have your pc in another room and probably reach it with the different cord options this has.

Cons: Only gripe I have is the control box for the headset sits to far down the cord. I like having the controls closer to the actual headset so it can either rest in your lap or chest. This one I have to drape on the desk or else it lays on the floor and out of reach.

Other Thoughts: Impressed with the headset. HAMUP!
