3 out of 5 eggsEh...Its okay

Pros: Nice looking, works, good for certain games..

Cons: The padding on the right side where you place your hand does not stay there.. it falls off.. I had to get a replacement for it and then within 3 days of using it.. it began to fall off.. use of superglue fixed it sorta.. if you sweat when you game do not buy it.. if your hand does not get sweatty then you'll be fine

Other Thoughts: 2nd time getting the product. first was paid second was a return and got new one which came with a nice pouch, same thing happened to this one that happened on first one

3 out of 5 eggsOutdated software, legacy product from Zalman

Pros: Looks nice with the changing color light, mouse functions very smoothly, it' "was" an original idea.

Cons: The buttons are small even for my mid-size hands. It takes time to get used to the buttons on this mouse. I can't seem to find that many games that would work with this gun mouse. Lastly, this is a legacy product from Zalman. You can't even find this product on Zalman's website and software updates for Win7, 64bit.

Other Thoughts: I wonder why is the original retail price so high? It is still kinda high even at 20 bucks in today's very competitive market.

4 out of 5 eggsFPSGun Mouse....Interesting!!!

Pros: Unique and innovative design. Easy to install and set up support software. Comfortable in use and requires little learning curve.

Cons: Bigger hands may have issues with this device. More dpi control would be desirable...but what the hey!...can't expect any peripheral to be absolutely perfect all the time. Lack of downloadable drivers and / or software / driver updates.

Other Thoughts: I can't say when I've last seen or heard of a computer mouse device like this. It's unique and innovative design alone warrants a second look at this little piece of hardware. Well, that said and being a hardware geek, I just had to buy this and try it out....at least it was on sale when I ordered it from Newegg. I do have relatively large hands, but I've been gaming long enough to have learned to work around this issue and don't have any ill feelings toward the Zalman FG1000 FPSGun Mouse in that respect. The FPSGun Mouse is comfortable to me. It was super easy to set up and install the driver and software from the disk. However, the lack of software or driver updates from the internet may be a deterrence for some gamers. I looked on Zalmans homepage, but couldn't find any downloads for this piece of hardware. As far as configuration goes, the software is simple to use and tweaking the device isn't difficult. I would have wished for more dpi control and configurability, but the current software options are acceptable and should appease most gamers out there. As far as price, I bought this device on sale $19.99. That was an awesome offering, but I just couldn't justify paying $70 bucks on something like this. I just don't think it carries that kind of value. The construction is solid and ergonomics have been thought out....mostly....LoL!....could have been a slightly larger build. The USB cord is of good length, so most gamers shouldn't find that to be an issue. Bottom line, unique and innovative design with solid construction, good ergonomics for a comfortable feel, easy to install set up and use might make the Zalman FG1000 FPSGun Mouse a device that you may not want to pass up, even with its shortcomings, but wait for it to be on sale.

3 out of 5 eggsToo Small

Pros: - Seems to have good tracking
- Build quality is not bad

Cons: - Too small!

Other Thoughts: I bought this as a novelty item when it was heavily discounted, but it is far to small for my banana hands. Would be great for kids, or anyone that has very small hands, and may function quite well once one gets used to it, but it is far to small for me.

Best ergonomic gaming mouse, not best gaming mouse

4 out of 5 eggs
* Ergonomically excellent. If normal mice hurt your wrists, this mouse will definitely help. I bought it not for gaming ...
