4 out of 5 eggsonly for small hands!

Pros: This mouse is fun! I love the idea of a trigger instead of just normal old left-click.

Cons: You will only like it if you have small hands! I have fairly large hands and I can't really use it. Get if for your little sister I guess, or just look at the pretty LEDs and wish they made a bigger one.

Other Thoughts: The laser/eye is under the front part, so panning in games could be strange at first.

5 out of 5 eggsMy hand hurt using regular mouse

Pros: My hand doesn't cramp up using it.

I've used this Zalman mouse for over 6 months now.

I've been an addict fps multiplayer / gamer since quake 2. Over the years I went from the marble mouse to $50 Logitech gaming mice, to this Zalman fps mouse. This mouse is the most comfortable for me to use for extended time. I couldn't use a regular mouse anymore due to my hand cramping.

This mouse really helps with sniping in BF4.

Cons: It takes some getting used to. Its hard to aim at first, because of the position of the sensor, but after becoming accustomed to it I now prefer it to a regular mouse.

The buttons above the thumb rest are too close and hard to differentiate.

Changing the dpi on the fly with this mouse has not worked well for me.

The grip on the mouse handle / gun grip is starting to come loose. It has had 100's of hours of use though.

Other Thoughts: I like the Zalman mouse so much I've just ordered a back up.

I'd hate to be with out one now.

4 out of 5 eggsUseful

Pros: One of my favorite peripherals. The FPS Gun is made for just that FPS gameplay. It is perfect for any shooter I have played. I feel it takes some getting used to but it is extremely comfortable none the less.

I currently own two of these one always on my PC and one for on the go. It is a cheap shooter mouse.

Cons: The grips that surround the buttons as well as the hand grip has come off on both of the FPSGuns that I own. I simply glued it back but it is the thought. (Docking an Egg for this)

The buttons are macro not enabled and not able to be re mapped with the provided software.

The cord isn't braided.

4 out of 5 eggsAbout to buy number 2

Pros: I bought this mouse about 5 years ago when I finally got a nice desktop and a decent monitor... 85 % of the time since I have used this mouse, got it because I love FPS's. It has been awesome for gaming, took some getting used to for normal use. It's starting to go, so I'm getting another one. Other reviews say it should be bigger, I've got decent sized hands and I think bigger would have been too clunky.

Cons: At about 2.5 years, the mid-range sensitivity started jumping. At 3.5 years one of my thumb buttons gave out. 4.5 thumb button nr 2 followed suit. Now I've been struggling with the high sensitivity setting jumping regularly. But this happens to every mouse I own...

Other Thoughts: - Buying another one after 5 years
- Got what I paid for on the first round.
- Get used to the pinky spot asap because it will add a lot of accuracy to your movement.
- If one of the sensitivity settings starts acting weird, change to another one. (Purple - blue - red)

3 out of 5 eggsGood Idea But...

Pros: Good concept

Cons: Small, Driver customizability, Grip pads falling off

Other Thoughts: I am a structural drafter and was looking for an ergonomic mouse for work. I liked the concept as I mentioned in the "pros" section but I am a big guy and it was pretty small for my hands. I like to customize my buttons for drafting and the driver that came with it had very limited options for assigning commands to the mouse buttons. There were only 7 options and no options for program specific commands. (3 out of 7 were click, right click, and scroll) On the grip there are rubber pads which fell off with about a month of use (~40 hour a week use.) If it was bigger, more programmable, and better built I would have given the it 4 or 5 stars. I did download a 3rd party mouse button program to utilize the extra buttons that works great. I would have like the dpi button to be programmable as well but I understand that this is a game specific mouse.

2 out of 5 eggsOkay.

Pros: *Unique design
*Ergonomic

Cons: *Too Small for an average male's hand
*Cheaply made
*Rubber sidings came off after a month

Other Thoughts: This mouse has more potential.
If Zalman could make one that's about 33% bigger, and used a stronger glue to keep the rubber sides on so they don't fall off after a month, that'd be great.

You can tell by the feel of the mouse that it's a very cheap plastic.

3 out of 5 eggsEhhh

Pros: Got it for $2 if the rebate comes in.
It's different and feels solid
Buttons feel sturdy
Good responsive movement
Plug and play Windows 8/7
Girlfriend likes it

Cons: It's just weird especially searching the web
It pretty much is only good for FPS which they are advertising for
But for fast movement FPS games like COD, it seems heavy and especially heavy at the nose of the mouse. (Battlefield 3 is nice with this mouse)
So its hard to move quick sometimes.
Also you need a pretty decent size mouse pad for this thing to fit on or you will always be falling off.

Other Thoughts: All in all its ok and wasn't bad for $2
Might end up getting a different mouse if I cant take it anymore. But im not going to give up so quickly (Only had it for a week)

4 out of 5 eggsBest ergonomic mouse I've found

Pros: This is the best ergonomic mouse I've used. I had issues with my wrist getting sore after working too long (CAD) with a regular mouse, but this got rid of them. After getting used to it, this is now my favorite mouse when just browsing the web and wasting time.

Cons: Not for gaming. I'll use it for slower games like the Elder Scrolls games, but it doesn't have the fast precision that is needed for twitch shooters like UT or Quake. I find it easier to have fine control with sideways motion than The button locations are different than a standard mouse, so it took a while (week) to really get used to the controls.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat for everyday use

Pros: - The movement is very smooth.
- The adjustable dpi is very handy when moving from normal use to more fine motor work.
- Extremely comfortable for long periods of use, even for larger hands.
- I don't have the accidental double click issue with this that I have with a standard mouse.
- The scroll wheel is very smooth and works well.
- Easy to move the cursor across dual monitors with minimal hand movement.

Cons: Hardly a con, but it's too tall to fit in my desk keyboard drawer at home and allow the drawer to close. It is a bit easier to use with a larger mouse pad.

Other Thoughts: I have hands large enough to palm a basketball, but do not have the comfort issues that others were complaining about. I wrap three fingers around the middle and leave my pinky sitting on the side and it's very comfortable. I never have issues with my wrist hurting after prolonged use like I do with a standard mouse. I've owned it for about 8 months (purchased in 10/2012) and use it daily at work (I don't game with it). My wife wanted to try it so we bought a second one. I tried gaming with it, but it has a learning curve in a fast-paced game.

I much prefer this mouse to a standard one at work. At its most sensitive setting I can move the mouse across my dual monitors with minimal hand gestures. When I need more precise handling I simply push the dpi button.

The sensor is in the front part of the mouse while your hand is at the rear making it possible to move across two monitors by rotating your hand only slightly. As for moving up and down on the screen, the palm of my hand rests slightly off the back of the mouse. I simply squeeze my fist a little or push slightly with my palm and it moves up and down with ease.

I haven't really had a problem with the padding falling off. and it feels just as solid as any other mouse. I don't find myself having to lift it off the pad and moving it over in order to make it across all my screen real estate like I do with a standard mouse.

I really like this mouse for everyday use. It's much more comfortable than a standard mouse. I would not really recommend it for gaming without a lot of practice though. My wife also likes it a lot and uses it to play StarCraft 2 mostly.
